Abstract

Love is an abstract thing that often cannot be described through a theory or string of words. Because basically love is a feeling of affection that is felt by the heart and difficult to digest by logic. When love has spoken often norms and religions are neglected. And one of them is the LGBT social phenomenon based on reasons of love. The purpose of this article is to find out whether in a relationship can only be based on love and religion will be neglected. The research method used is the study of literature using systematic review by collecting and reviewing from several relevant reference sources related to the sociological view of religion in LGBT relations based on reasons of love. Collection of reference sources is done by searching online databases through Google Schoolar as a data search. Based on the study of literature from various sources, the results of the study showed that LGBT is a deviant behavior and cannot be justified even under the pretext of love. Therefore, there needs to be a broader understanding and socialization related to LGBT in order to understand that LGBT is a behavior that not only deviates in norms and religions, but is constitutionally prohibited and has been declared as deviant behavior.

Abstract

This research explores the cultural phenomenon of the Ceramic Music Festival (Rampak Genteng) in Jatiwangi, Majalengka, focusing on its integration into sociology education. The festival, initiated by the Jatiwangi Art Factory community, celebrates local wisdom through music created from clay, emphasizing the community's longstanding expertise in tile-making. The study employs qualitative field research, utilizing interviews and literature review as data collection methods. It investigates how the festival embodies local wisdom, encompassing values such as religiosity, communal solidarity, artistic expression, historical significance, and economic resilience. These values are integral to sociology education, enriching lessons on community empowerment and social harmony. Project-Based Learning (PJBL) serves as a pedagogical approach to integrate these values into the sociology curriculum effectively.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali bagaimana model realitas pendidikan seksual yang dilaksanakan di kampus. Model-model pendidikan seksual tersebut sebagai Upaya demistifikasi seksual dengan jalan melawan tabu yang berkaitan dengan seks. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan tiga Satgas PPKS di perguruan tinggi. Hasil penelitian mengungkap (1) Satgas PPKS memanfaatkan media digital untuk menyebarkan informasi mengenai penyadaran kekerasan seksual; (2) Pemahaman bystander behaviour terus digencarkan pada civitas pendidikan sebagai upaya preventif kekerasan seksual melalui model pendidikan seksual; (3) Model ideal Satgas PPKS dalam penanganan kekerasan seksual yang menunjukan keberpihakan pada korban. Demistifikasi seksual menjadi suatu tantangan sebagai upaya pengarusutamaan gender dalam pembangunan utamanya ketika perempuan masih mengalami reviktimisasi dalam kasus kekekerasan seksual, alih-alih mendapatkan keadilan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop social capital through a political education model that involves urban female cadre communities in increasing political involvement based on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI). The research method employs a qualitative approach. This research involved 2 informants responsible for implementing political education regulations and 4 urban female cadre informants. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, which are subsequently analyzed through coding. The findings reveal that GEDSI-based women's political education serves as a benchmark for increasing the social capital of women’s mobilization partners, enabling them to acquire the abilities, skills, and political acumen necessary to boost confidence and empower women in formulating policies addressing the needs, challenges, and solutions for their communities. This research contributes by emphasizing that GEDSI-based political education for women encourages the development of political competence among female mobilization cadre partners advocating for gender justice, accessibility for people with disabilities, and the welfare of marginalized groups.

Abstract

The Osing tribe in Kemiren Village still respects and preserves ancestral traditions such as: Mepe mattress, Barong Ider Bumi, Kebo-keboan, Ithuk-ithukan, Angklung Paglak, Kawin Colong, Mocoan Lontar, Barong Caruk, Gandrung dance etc. From the various kinds of local wisdom that exist in the Banyuwangi community, this can enrich knowledge and of course it can be used as teaching material in the learning process, this is a form of preserving regional culture. The existence of the traditions of the Osing tribal community in the world of education is armed with various forms of local wisdom that exist in the Osing tribe. This is a form of cultural heritage that can be used as a source of learning at the elementary to senior high school levels in Banyuwangi Regency. Local wisdom values ​​can be implemented in all subjects, especially in sociology. Implementation of an educational approach based on local wisdom in sociology learning in schools is one of the solutions related to problems that exist in the community environment. Students are invited to be sensitive to their social environment and with an approach based on local wisdom students are invited to find out what local wisdom exists in their respective areas. Through sociology subjects at school, students are directed to be able to become virtuous Indonesian citizens by upholding local wisdom values, loving cultural differences, and being able to coexist regularly within the community.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal menjadi muatan penting untuk diinternalisasikan pada setiap generasi karena mencerminkan nilai-nilai, pengetahuan, dan praktik yang diwariskan secara turun temurun yang mampu mendukung keberlangsungan sosial dan lingkungan. Nilai-nilai lokal memiliki relevansi untuk menghadapi dunia yang terus berubah dan didominasi oleh pengaruh teknologi. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya interseksi antara kearifan lokal dan perkembangan teknologi di dunia pendidikan untuk menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang interaktif, responsif, dan adaptif dalam menghadapi tantangan global yang semakin dinamis. Inovasi pembelajaran melalui implementasi kearifan lokal pada permainan tradisional Cublak Cublak Suweng dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang menjembatani antara kearifan budaya dengan kemajuan global. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai kearifan lokal Cublak Cublak Suweng dalam pembelajaran MERDEKA. Teori yang digunakan sebagai dasar analisis adalah teori struktural fungsional skema AGIL dari Talcott Parsons. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnopedagogi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan observasi partisipan pada pembelajaran sosiologi di SMAN 2 Cibinong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal permainan tradisional Cublak Cublak Suweng dalam pembelajaran MERDEKA menciptakan iklim belajar yang interaktif, inklusif, dan rekreatif sekaligus melestarikan budaya nasional di era digital. Pendekatan ini mentransfer nilai moral dari makna "suweng" sebagai harta sejati serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa sebagai digital native.
