Abstract

This research aimed to describe the integration of kato nan ampek into the learning process for religion, citizenship, and indonesian language courses at one private. This research collected data through the forms of student responses to lecturers’ verbal communication which were collected via online questionnaires. The research subjects were lecturers and students who took these three courses. The questionnaire was analyzed using by using simple statistical techniques. The results showed that the lecturer had integrated kato nan ampek into learning. Students were placed in a position that was close or equal to the lecturer, not at a distance or lower, by addressing greeting Ananda or Saudara. This message of appreciation and closeness reached students. It was also reflected in the RAL [Respondent's Achievement Level] results, which showed that responses were in good qualifications. Based on subjects, the highest average RAL was found in Religion courses, while based on learning activities, the highest RAL was in the opening aspect of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca kritis genre teks faktual melalui E-Learning mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta angkatan 2022/2023. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta Padang angkatan 2022/2023. Instrumen penelitan dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi dan tugas. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Pertama, mahasiswa dalam membuat pertanyaan dan menjawab pertanyaan sudah lebih banyak ke arah C2 sampai C5 dengan nilai rata-rata 8,43. Kedua, mahasiswa dalam menganalisis watak tokoh Sir Isaac Newton dalam membaca kritis sudah jelas dan tepat dengan nilai rata-rata 8,07. Ketiga, mahasiswa membuat kesimpulan berdasarkan teks faktual masih belum tepat dengan nilai rata-rata 7,78. Keempat mahasiswa belum mampu menemukan keunikan tokoh Sir Isaac Newton dengan baik, nilai rata-rata 7,69. Dengan demikian, mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP angkatan 2022/2023 sudah mampu membaca kritis teks faktual menggunakan metode SQ3R dengan nilai rata-rata 7,96 dengan kategori lebih dari cukup. Abstract

Hasil tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui nilai moral yang ada dalam cerita pendek pada koran terbitan Padang Express edisi Januari sampai September 2023. Teori yang dijadikan acuan pada analisi ini adalah teori nilai moral dalam beberapa bagian yaitu 1) hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, 2)hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial maupun alam, 3) dan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan. Dalam analisis ini penulis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, objek penelitian dalam analisis ini adalah nilai moral dalam cerita pendek. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam analisis ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan cerpen edisi Januari sampai September 2023, teknik baca untuk megumpulkan data kemudian melakukan analisis nilai moral yang terdapat dalam kutipan cerpen. Analisis 9 cerpen terbitan Padang Express edisi Januari sampai September 2023 yang diteliti, penulis menemukan 81 kutipan cerpen. Pada bagian hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdapat 55 kutipan cerpen, hubungan manusia dengan dengan manusia dalam lingkup sosial dan lingkungan alam terdapat 52 kutipan cerpen dan pada bagian hubungan manusia dengan tuhan terdapat hanya 6 kutipan yang terdapat dalam cerpen. Dalam hasil analisis yang dilakukan masing-masing cerpen yang dianalisis belum menunjukkan bahwa semua judul cerpen belum terdapat wujud nilai moral. Dalam analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai moral yang dominan muncul dalam cerpen terbitan Padang Express edisi Januari sampai September 2023 adalah nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia.The results of the research objective are to determine the moral values contained in short stories in the Padang Express newspaper published in the January to September 2023 edition. The theory used as a reference in this analysis is the theory of moral values in several parts, namely 1) human relationships with themselves, 2) relationships humans with other humans in the social and natural spheres, 3) and the relationship between humans and God. In this analysis the author uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The research object in this analysis is the moral values in short stories. The data collection technique in this analysis uses short story collection techniques from January to September 2023 editions, reading techniques to collect data and then analyzing the moral values contained in the short story excerpts. Analysis of 9 short stories published in Padang Express editions from January to September 2023 which were examined, the author found 81 short story quotes. In the section on human relationships with themselves there are 55 short story quotes, there are 52 short story quotes on human relationships with humans in the social and natural environment and in the section on human relationships with God there are only 6 quotes in short stories. The results of the analysis carried out for each of the short stories analyzed do not show that all the short story titles do not contain any form of moral value. In the analysis, it can be concluded that the dominant moral values appearing in the short stories published in the Padang Express edition from January to September 2023 are the moral values of human relationships with themselves and human relationships with humans.

Abstract

The article contains the process of learning Indonesian in Elementary Schools (SD) with an ecoliteracy perspective. This is done on the basis that the government through the curriculum urges every citizen to be wise to the environment. Concretely, this is done in a planned manner at every level of education, especially at the elementary school (SD) level in Indonesian language subjects. The approach used is to use the method of content analysis (content analysis). The content analysis carried out is to describe and explain ecoliteracy-based language learning strategies in the form of using texts with ecological intelligence insight that can contribute to the character of caring for the environment. . language learning in elementary schools (SD). Based on the approach taken, the cultivation of an attitude of caring for the environment in elementary schools is carried out by using contextual texts, such as the content of intelligence on the environment. The text presented by the teacher is a condition of environmental damage caused by disobedient human behavior, such as throwing garbage in its place. The text presented certainly reflects a balance between the narrative of events and images that reflect the environment, such as floods and landslides. In principle, teachers must be able to explore how important it is to protect the surrounding environment.

Abstract

A this research aims to describe the form and types of speech acts, as well as a description of the principle of cooperation in teacher speech in the Indonesian language learning process at SMAN Padang City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods, while the research data is all Indonesian language teacher speech which contains the forms and types of speech acts as well as the principles of cooperation. Data collection techniques are carried out through the observation and recording stages. Data analysis techniques are: (1) Transcribing the speech of teachers who teach Indonesian; (2) classifying the types of teacher speech and the principles of cooperation between teachers who teach Indonesian; (3) interpreting the data found, (4) drawing conclusions, and making reports related to teacher speech acts and the application of the principle of cooperation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that speech acts and the principle of cooperation are interconnected because to find out teachers adhere to the principle of cooperation seen from the meaning of the speech spoken by the teacher to the students.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the morphosyntactic characteristics of the language of native speakers in Pauh Terenja Village, XIV Koto District, Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province. This is an effort to identify language constructions based on the structure of sentences, clauses, phrases and words so as to form a unified language characteristic. Morphosyntactic studies are used as a basic basis for thinking and analysis. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method carried out by analyzing the syntactic level (sentences, phrases and words). Data collection was carried out through in-depth empirical observations by recording or taking notes and listening to the conversations of native speakers in interactions. Based on the research results, the local language of native speakers in Pauh Terenja Village, XIV Koto District, Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province is characterized by a distinctive dialect and unique syntactic constructions that can be observed and compared with other regional languages or Indonesian. At the syntactic level, typical sentence characteristics are observed in the use of major sentences and minor sentences along with their construction characteristics. The delivery of these sentences appears in external functions (command sentences, denial sentences, news/declarative sentences, interjection sentences, interrogative sentences). In this sentence, it can be also seen the construction of phrases based on word class. Meanwhile, at the level of word form, distinctive things can be seen in the variations in morphemes, variations in allomorphs, and the function of these morphemes in sentences.

Abstract

This research is motivated by (1) Teachers still use the lecture method, so that students look bored, (2) Lack of students' ability to participate, (3) Lack of students' ability to cooperate in learning. The purpose of this research is to improve the reading comprehension skills of grade IV students of SDN 08 Surau Gadang Nanggalo Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which includes 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection with a total of 25 students. The research instruments used are observation sheets and learning outcome tests. Based on the results of research conducted in the first cycle on the teacher's activity sheet, 74,21% increased in the second cycle to 87,5%. Meanwhile, the student activity sheet in the first cycle was 62.49%, an increase in the second cycle of 83.33%. The results of students' reading ability in the first cycle obtained an average of 63.98, while in the second cycle the average increased to 83.97. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model in Indonesian learning can improve the reading comprehension skills of grade IV students of SD IT Nurul Ikhlas Padang. Suggestions for the use of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model in Indonesian learning help improve students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian learning as information and comparison materials for the implementation of similar and relevant research.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama dan nilai-nilai religius dalam novel Bintang Jatuh karya Silvarani. Teori yang dijadikan acuan pada penelitian ini adalah Lewin (2016) untuk analisis konflik batin dan Jauhari (2010) untuk analisis nilai religius. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan kalimat atau kata sebagai objek. Adapun teknik analisis dan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah  (1) mencari data berupa  novel (2) membaca data secara intens (3) menandai data (4) mengklasifikasikan data (5) menyeleksi data (6) menyusun korpus data (7) memasukkan data. Berdasarkan hasil  analisis data ditemukan: 1) wujud konflik batin dalam novel Bintang Jatuh karya Silvarani meliputi konflik menjauh-menjauh dan konflik mendekat-menjauh. 2) wujud nilai-nilai religius yang terdapat dalam novel meliputi: keimanan (tauhid), norma kehidupan (tauhid), dan sikap perilaku (akhlak). Novel Bintang Jatuh memberikan nilai-nilai positif mengenai cara tokoh utama menyelesaikan konfliknya dan terdapat juga nilai-nilai religius hampir di setiap babnya. Dengan demikian, ditemukan 8 data konflik batin dan 20 data nilai-nilai religius.Kata kunci: novel, psikologi sastra, konflik batin, nilai religius

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tema dan nilai pendidikan pada puisi dalam majalah Bobo. Teori yang dijadikan landasan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendapat yang dikemukakan oleh T.S. Eliot (1917) yang menguraikan lima jenis tema yaitu : (1) Religius, (2) Kemanusiaan,(3) Percintaan,(4) Kesedihan,(5) Kepahlawanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan penelitian  yang menggunakan kalimat atau kata sebagai objek. Sumber data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah Puisi yang terdapat dalam majalah Bobo.Hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa puisi-puisi pada majalah Bobo telah menyajikan nilai-nilai pendidikan.Pada penelitian ini penulis membahas lima nilai pendidikan, (1) Sosial Budaya,(2) Kepedulian,(3) Kepahlawanan,(4) Pengasuhan,(5) Budi Pekerti. Puisi-puisi yang terdapat dalam majalah Bobo telah menyajikan sarana yang efektif untuk membantu anak-anak memahami nilai-nilai penting dalam kehidupan.Penulis berharap bahwa, tema dan nilai-nilai pendidikan pada puisi dalam majalah Bobo akan terus menginspirasi dan mendidik para pembaca muda, membantu mereka tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi individu yang bijaksana dan bertanggung jawab.Kata kunci: puisi, majalah Bobo, tema, nilai pendidikan

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan berfokus pada nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat œSuku Bunian dan œAsal Usul Sijunjung. Kedua cerita rakyat ini berasal dari Kabupaten Solok Selatan dan Kabupaten Sijunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan serta implikasinya dalam penerapan aspek pendidikan. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif yang merupakan hasil dari analisis cerita rakyat secara lisan dan tulisan. Ada pun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik rekam dan catat hasil. Hasil analisis kedua cerita rakyat dapat dijelaskan bahwa ada 54 nilai pendidikan, yaitu 13 nilai religi, 16 nilai sosial, 14 nilai moral, dan 11 nilai budaya. Nilai religius dan moralitas pada cerita œSuku Bunian mendominasi kehidupan sehari-harinya. Hal ini dapat mencerminkan keberagaman kepercayaan dan mitos di masyarakat Minangkabau. Selanjutnya, dalam cerita rakyat œAsal Usul Nama Sijunjung terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan agama, sosial, moral, dan budaya yang kuat, serta melestarikan nilai-nilai tradisional dan kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat.Kata kunci: sastra lisan, cerita rakyat, nilai pendidikan
