Abstract

Character education in Islamic religious teachings is a rule for doing good deeds stated in the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. The essence of Islamic teachings is noble morals that rests on a harmonious and balanced relationship between humans and God, and between humans and humans. Character education in Islamic religious teachings is a rule for doing good deeds stated in the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. Abuddin Nata said that the core of Islamic teachings is noble morals that rest on a harmonious and balanced relationship between humans and God, and between humans and humans. This research is a qualitative research, the data presented is in the form of descriptive data obtained through books that are relevant to the object of study. The results of this research found character education in Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi's view through his work entitled Fihi Ma Fihi, including religious, noble character, loving knowledge, skilled (capable), creative, democratic, responsible, and hardworking.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the subject of Fiqh in class X-10 at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kota Bogor, as well as to determine the extent of improvement in students' interest in learning the subject after the implementation of the TGT learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, with a total of 31 students as subjects. The data collection methods in this study included observation to monitor teacher and student activities, interviews with Fiqh teachers regarding the implementation of the TGT learning model, and the distribution of questionnaires to measure students' interest in learning Fiqh through the TGT approach. The results of this study show a significant increase in teacher and student activities, as well as in students' interest in learning. Teacher activity in cycle I scored 84, which is classified as “good,” and increased to 91 in cycle II, classified as “very good.” Meanwhile, student activity also increased, from 77 in cycle I to 85 in cycle II. Similarly, student learning interest, which was initially at 71 in cycle I, increased to 82 in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent to which the use of methods (TGT) can increase the level of students' activation, assess students' level of motivation for study, examine the effect of the use of methods (TGT) on the increased student motivation. In view of the current problems, the performance of learning is less optimally executed, especially on traditional methods/mapping concepts, which the concept mapping method indicates that students tend to be disinterested, easily bored, and hard to maintain concentration during the learning process. In response to that, the tournament games are the solution for teachers. The study USES the tournament tournament method (TGT). Cycle observations ii show increased student learning motivation, particularly about sense position and revelation, from 55.55% in cycle I to 80.08% in cycle ii. In conclusion, student motivation has increased significantly on the basis of learning and observation during cycles I and ii. All the students have already met the KKM set in cycle
