Abstract

Local wisdom can be interpreted as principles of life, behaviour, rules, and punishments, as well as a view of life that regulate life, so that it can regulate and managing natural resources in the natural, social, and economic environments. Even local knowledge have adapted to environment obstacle. This research aims to investigate traditionally local knowledge for confronting Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with an ethnography approach and literature review. Data are collected through in-depth interviews with leaders of Urug and Cipatat Kolot societies. In order to investigate Baduy and Ciptagelar communities used a literature review. Data are supported by documentation and observation sources. The sample is selected using a purposive sampling technique. The result is analysed through triangulation, which is by mixing some gathered data methods. The result is that Urug society allocates rice each year from their paddy yields to the vulnerable groups such as orphans, elderlies, widows, and persons need most. Secondly, collective action is used to jump the capacity of people like women through nujuh bulanan. Thirdly, societies exert taboo to combat disaster and Covid-19, including by prohibiting community from trading paddies and rice. Another finding is that indigenous knowledge uses some life strategies and utilizes natural capital optimally for overcoming life perturbances. The last finding is that local knowledge has preserved agriculture jobs as a venue to survive.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter melalui pembiasaan makan berjamaah di pesantren. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren hidayatullah telah membuat suatu program yang telah diterapkan oleh para santri, salah satunya yaitu makan berjamaah atau tajammu’. Makan berjamaah merupakan cara makan yang sesuai dengan sunnah Nabi Muhammad SAW. terdapat beberapa nilai dan dalam pelaksanaannya yaitu nilai sosial kebersamaan, silaturahim dan nilai solidaritas, misalnya ketika ada salah satu santri yang tidak hadir ketika waktu makan di dapur maka teman sekelompoknya akan mencari santri yang tidak makan tersebut, juga ketika para santri telah selesai makan, maka mereka akan bergantian mencuci nampan yang telah dipakai sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah dibagi oleh pihak pondok. Temuan lain dalam penelitian ini adalah menghilangkan hierarki sosial atau status sosial dikalangan para santri karena ketika dibentuknya suatu kelompok makan oleh para pengasuh dan guru dipondok tidak terfokus hanya pada status sosial dan kondisi perekonomian santri saja. Terdapat juga pendidikan agama di dalamnya yang mampu melatih jiwa para santri agar memiliki sifat rendah hati, selalu melakukan adab makan sesuai yang dianjurkan oleh nabi Muhammad SAW seperti membaca doa, menggunakan tangan kanan dan selalu duduk sunnah. Bahkan Makan berjamaah yang diterapkan pada santri juga sangat membantu para pengasuh dan guru untuk membangun prilaku disiplinan pada diri santri dan dapat menghemat dalam penggunaan air dan pemakaian sabun cuci piring.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang nilai tradisi bersih-bersih di lingkungan sosial tepatnya di kampung Seremped. Penelitian memfokuskan terhadap apa saja nilai tradisi besih-bersih yang ada di di lingkungan tersebut, dampak yang akan terjadi jika tradisi besih-bersih di lingkungan tidak dijaga, dan cara kerja warga terhadap lingkungan agar tetap besih dan terjaga. Pada zaman kemoderanan ini sangat banyak alternatif teknologi dalam penggunakan sistem teknologi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dan ini merupakan salah satu solusi yang terbaik. terkait nilai bersih-bersih yang ada di kampung Seremped tidak lain menggunakan teknologi sumber daya manusia (SDM), dengan mengadakannya kerja sama antar masyarakat atau yang di sebut dengan gotong royong. Antusiasi antar masyarakat terkait tradisi bersih-bersih sangat berpengaruh terhadap lingkungannya, seperti cara masyarakan peduli dengan lingkungan, saling menjaga kebersihan satu sama lain, dan menumbuhkan kepeduliannya terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Dalam penelitian ini kami menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai yang bisa di ambil melalui tradisi bersih-bersih di lingkungan sosial. Dalam penelitian ini pula kami menggunakan pengumpulan data dengan indept interview, dokumentasi dan observasi. Adapun hasil penelitian kami yaitu para warga kampung Seremped sangat berkontribusi dan berperan aktif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bersih-bersih di mulai dari anak-anak sampai yang dewasa. Untuk tempat yang sering di bersihkan itu seperti lingkungan rumah, tempat ibadah, kali, got, jalanan dan masih banyak lagi. Mereka melakukan dengan sukarela dan semangat yang tinggi. Dengan melaksanakan tradisi bersih-bersih ini ada nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya yakni nilai religi, pendidikan dan kesehatan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to discover tahlilan value in the Muslim community. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Meanwhile, the sampling method used is purposive and data are collected in numerous ways including observation, in-dept-interview, and documentation. The result shows that social value in tahlilan encompasses aiding another individual through distributing food and beverage because when the tahlilan is held, food and beverage are provided to individual who attends tahlilan as well as tahlilan content social value because solidarity among the community is released where the family who undergoes sadness are visited by another person for prying and encourage as well as giving spirit to face grieving circumstances. Additionally, the person who visits tahlilan has the motivation or social motivation where as the person participates in Tahlilan in the public interest rather than individual, in another time when a person experiences the same condition, the community will conduct similar action person. It shows that there is social binding among the community to blend in Tahlilan because social relation which each person have to nurture instead of don’t participate in tahlilan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate bawon system tradition and traditional appliance in the traditional community to empower farming labours toward community resilience. The research method used is an ethnographic qualitative approach. This method is applied because the research is related to cultural, ritual, traditional, and social phenomena. The data are collected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The selection of informants as samples uses purposive sampling technique. The result is probed meticulously through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The result shows that bawon system is a tradition in agriculture to assist landless people for cultivating. It leads to create agriculture worker resilience because the landless people can fulfil their basic needs from this mechanism, and they will not be unemployed amid the implementation of modern agricultural technology. Another result is the use of a traditional tool like ani-ani which can empower women resilience because women will not lose their vanity in farming activity. Besides, it can attain traditional and cultural resilience because ani-ani and bawon system can be categorized as traditional culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the adaptation of teacher and housewife for creating student resilience. The research method uses an ethnographic qualitative approach. In order to gather data was used an in-depth interview. The result is probed meticulously through triangulation technique and triangulation sources. The result shows that pandemic COVID 19 have an adverse impact to housewife. Another impact is the student experience boring through online learning. On the contrary, there are some merits about online learning such as parents can supervise their children both the pattern of eating behavior as well as strengthen togetherness in family. The other finding is teacher conduct some strategy for coping pandemic including teacher release home visit to the student house. Besides that, the teacher has distorted learning face to face to daring system to ensure that learning activity can be implied amid pandemic. It must be encouraged by modification of material teaching through inventing video learning to make it more convenient to children. In addition, housewife applicate some strategy for overcoming this obstacle such as they don’t compel learning to children but they accompany the children for playing with them. Then, the housewife has bolstered the children like giving nutrient balance.

Abstract

Taklim assembly is classified as an association outside of school to shape the morals of teenagers. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the taklim assembly in shaping the morals of teenagers. At the same time to find the contribution of the taklim assembly in shaping the morals of youth. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach. Determination of the sample as the object of research using a purposive technique. The results showed that the Majelis taklim was very effective in improving the morals of teenagers because the Majelis taklim as a forum or place for teenagers to gain knowledge about morals and worship in religion. Another finding is that the taklim assembly carries out various moral developments for adolescents starting from providing motivation to adolescents, developing quality youth resources such as teaching social morals according to Islamic teachings, inviting youth as administrators of the taklim assembly and carrying out religious counseling. At the same time providing an example or example for teenagers to follow the example of the teachers in the taklim assembly. In the economic field, youth have been involved in youth empowerment activities such as making dish soap, deodorizing clothes and vehicle lubricants.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate Nujuh Bulalanan tradition for resilience societies in customary societies. The method used is ethnography because of research related to societies, cultural, tradition and ritual of the community. Data are collected through in-depth interview with the leader of Urug societies, documentation and observation. The sample is selected using a purposive sampling technique. The result is analysed through triangulation which is mixing some gathering data method. The result is societies of Urug still pursue nujuh bulanan tradition. It can support cultural resilience because tradition from their forefather has not vanished amid globalisation of culture. Another finding is nujuh bulanan support societies resilience through mutual cooperation or mutual assisting. Activity is not the private activity but it is a common activity which is conducted by collective action and individual awareness which impact the collective consciousness. The impact is the societies who they live in the group are more resilience rather than life in an individual trait. The other finding is to create food resilience because local food which has been created by a group of societies can save a person from hunger when they receive local food in temporary periods. Besides, It can protect local traditional of food from extinction because in this tradition, societies typically women must invent local traditional food rather than another sort of food.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research will investigate numerous aspects including agriculture sustainability from an Islamic perspective. The method used is a literature review with descriptive analysis. The result is Islam has several actions to reach farming base on the environment such as the barring of killing some of the animals comprise frog, eagle, bee, and other animal which is valuable for creating ecosystem balance. The action is integrating pest mitigation by way of using nature power to decline the population of insect attacks. The other is to rekindle of land is the most imperative action to assert sustainable agriculture. Lands must be cultivated as people mandatory to God’s but don’t create killing and vanishing of an animal which bolster soil fertility. For this, the land has to preserve through organic manure to attaint Ihya-Almawat or planting land without ravage soil. The impact is climate change can be encouraged. Then, people who cultivate seed or plant to land, the person will receive a reward from God. While planting plant produces alms as capital for a person when they confront God’s. As result, the people on earth obtain some merits such as people get oxygen, shading, habitat for the animal, and save a life from the unpredicted climate.Keywords: Agriculture, Climate, Environment, Islam Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji berbagai aspek termasuk pertanian berkelanjutan dalam perspektif Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan literature review dengan descriptif analisis. Ada beberapa hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu ajaran Islam memiliki beberapa tindakan untuk mencapai pertanian ramah alam mulai dari larangan membunuh katak, elang, dan lebah untuk menciptakan keseimbangan ekosistem. Warisan ajaran ini mengintegrasikan pengendalian hama dengan kekuatan alam. Warisan jaran yang lain yaitu menghidupkan lahan agar lahan tetap produktif dan berkelanjutan. Tanah harus diolah sebagai namun tidak menciptakan pembunuhan dan pemusnahan hewan yang menyebabkan tanah menjadi gersang. Untuk itu, tanah harus diawetkan melalui pupuk organik untuk mencapai Ihya-Almawat atau tanah tanam tanpa merusak tanah. Kemudian, orang yang membudidayakan tanaman akan menerima pahala berupa sedekah. Terdapat beberapa sedekah seperti makhluk hidup mendapatkan oksigen, bisa berteduh, menjadi habitat hewan, dan menyelamatkan kehidupan dari iklim yang tidak terduga.Keywords: Pertanian, Iklim, Lingkungan, Warisan Islam

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out about character education cares environment based on local knowledge. The studies method used is ethnographic with qualitative approach. This method is implemented because the research is related to the social, traditional ceremony, customary societies, and social as well as cultural phenomena. The data are gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The selection of respondent as samples uses purposive sampling technique. The result is probed meticulously through technique triangulation. The result shows that Urug societies have created societies character for the environment both social and ecology environment through applicating and conserve the tradition of heritage namely picking must ask for permission. The tradition is conducted collectively as societies habit when they release cultivating of paddies. There are two sorts of ceremony cultural such as Harvesting traditional ceremony (seren taun) and alms to earth (sedekah bumi). Permiting tradition in picking paddies must be conducted  because they have the view that a person must admit to the god before planting paddies through alms to earth. When the time for harvesting coming, societies propose admitting again before collecting paddies in the field. Once after paddies have been stored, Urug societies held harvesting ceremony collectively as a form that they have been gratefully when they obtain paddies yield. The other is Urug societies avoid greedy principle, it enacts Urug societies avoid from the environment devastated typically land because they farm paddies only one time in a year rather than 3-4 periods in a year. Other is Urug societies have applicated environment ethics both ecocentrism and biocentrism perspective to preserve nature from ravage. They also select agriculture as their venue to survive because they think that farmer is honest person and vanish envy temper in their life. Farmer embedded cooperation, mutual assisting, and mutual supporting among them.
