Abstract

Product boycott refers to not using and purchasing a product from a particular organization or company. The goal is to pressure Israel to fulfill what the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement describes as Israel's obligations under international law, defined as withdrawal from the occupied territories, removal of the separation wall in the West Bank, full equality for Arab citizens-Palestinians in Israel, and respect, protect and advance the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and property. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies. Meanwhile, the approach applied uses qualitative descriptive analysis with data related to the problem in the study. Writers use reading sources such as journals, articles, news, etc. as writing material and then conclude. The boycott of foreign products, especially Israeli products in Indonesia, has a positive impact on the growth of domestic product revenues. However, the boycott movement reduces economic growth because it reduces demand and increases the number of unemployed. The estimation method used in this research presents certain advances compared to other methods found in the literature because it makes it possible to determine the impact of the BDS movement on the Indonesian economy while still considering the interdependence between different sectors, as well as able to decide on its implications fairly compared to other industries. This research also uses large amounts of data, so it is hoped that it can increase the strength of the research conclusions

Abstract

The negative impacts of global warming and climate change increase the need for environmental improvement efforts. Green accounting in the East Cirebon region is considered to have strategic potential to increase environmental awareness and public knowledge of environmental issues. Green accounting includes an approach that incorporates ecological values into the traditional accounting system to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of the economy on the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the application of green accounting on increasing environmental awareness and public knowledge in the East Cirebon region. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative methods through in-depth interviews, observations, surveys, and distributing questionnaires to small and medium enterprises. The results showed that the application of green accounting in the East Cirebon region had a positive impact on increasing environmental awareness. In addition, increased environmental awareness will lead to active participation in conservation programs and raise awareness of the importance of sustainability. Applying green accounting also helps increase community knowledge and support sustainable conservation efforts in the East Cirebon region. This study concludes that applying green accounting in the East Cirebon region can positively contribute to increasing environmental awareness and community knowledge. Therefore, local governments, businesses, and communities should work together to continue and expand the application of green accounting to achieve sustainable regional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of the relevance of economic education on the needs of the world of work, specifically among alumni of the Economic Education Study Programme at Gunung Jati Swadaya University. The background to this study is based on the challenges of the era of digitalisation and industrial transformation, which require university graduates to have competencies that match the needs of the job market. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sample in this study consists of 40 alumni selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument, a questionnaire, was distributed online and tested for validity and reliability before analysis. Data analysis techniques used include simple linear regression tests, correlation tests, determination coefficients, and significance tests (t-tests). The results of the study indicate that the relevance of economic education has a positive and significant effect on the needs of the job market, with a correlation coefficient of 0.737 and an R Square of 0.543, meaning that 54.3% of the job market needs are explained by this variable. This occurs with the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of Ha because the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. This study combines Human Capital Theory and Job Matching Theory, demonstrating that relevant education can enhance graduates' readiness to face modern industrial challenges, contributing theoretically to understanding the relationship between education, skills, and work readiness. The findings emphasize the importance of developing competency-based curricula aligned with industrial needs, strengthening soft and hard skills, and optimising practical and internship programs such as MBKM. The recommendations from this study highlight the importance of synergy between educational institutions and the workforce in order to produce competent, adaptive, and competitive graduates in the labour market. Keywords: Relevance of Economic Education, World of Work Needs. Abstract

Background. The development of information technology has been very rapid lately. Aims. Artificial intelligence has replaced the function of the human brain in collecting and processing data. This is very useful in making it easier for students to compile scientific papers and complete the final project through reports and theses. Counseling has been carried out for students to understand the important role and obstacles that must be watched out for in using AI technology. Method. The method used is a PowerPoint presentation, which is done by the student group and accompanied by a lecturer as a resource person. Result. The material presented covered the potential and challenges of using Generative AI (GenAI) in learning in higher education, as well as providing practical and ethical guidance to utilize this technology responsibly. The AI competency framework for students consists of 3 levels. First, I need to understand AI technology; second, I need to use AI responsibly; and third, I need to evaluate AI results critically. Examples of Gen Ai applications: ChatGPT helps create task drafts and provide ideas; Grammarly checks grammar and writing style; DALL-E creates a design or presentation fiscal illustration. The conclusion and hope that can be put forward in this activity is that GenAI is a tool that can enrich the learning process, but it is important to use it ethically and responsibly. With a good understanding, GenAI can be a partner in creating innovative and effective learning. Consclusion. Because ChatGPT offers benefits in accessibility, speed, and originality, it has unquestionably changed the way students approach academic assignments. However, when misused, it can compromise critical thinking and academic integrity.

Abstract

The transformation of State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) into Public Service Agencies (BLU) demands financial independence while remaining grounded in efficiency and accountability. However, reliance on leadership figures and poor digital system integration often hinders achieving financial independence aligned with public welfare values. This study aims to construct a System-Driven Governance model at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC), a pilot project for Cyber Islamic University, through the integration of Leadership, Control, and Digital Governance (SEM-PLS) to improve financial performance from a Maqasid Syariah perspective. This quantitative study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) analysis. A sample of 208 UIN SSC respondents was drawn using a disproportionate stratified purposive sampling technique. Primary data from the questionnaire was integrated with secondary data from Value for Money (VfM) analysis and treasury regulations. The results indicate that Digitalization and Internal Control have a significant impact on Financial Performance (p < 0.05). Conversely, Transformational Leadership does not directly impact financial performance, but it is a key determinant of the success of digital transformation and internal control maturity. This finding marks a deconstruction of the leadership role, shifting from a central figure to a system-reliable one. From the perspective of Maqasid Syariah (Islamic principles), optimal financial performance is a manifestation of Hifdz al-Mal (the principle of good governance), the efficient and accountable use of state finances and assets. Digitalization serves as an instrument of taysir (ease) that increases budget efficiency, while Internal Control ensures the principle of Amanah (accountability) for the benefit of the public (public value). The System-Driven Governance model offers a reconstruction of governance where oversight is embedded in digital platform algorithms, rather than the physical presence of leaders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital financial literacy on students’ learning interest in Economics subjects at SMAN 5 Cirebon. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 50 eleventh-grade students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 through validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that digital financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning interest, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.460. The R² value of 0.209 indicates that digital financial literacy contributes 20.9% to students’ learning interest. Therefore, improving digital financial literacy can be one of the factors that support the enhancement of students’ learning interest in Economics subjects.
