Abstract

Electrical energy is a vital need and very important for modern society. Not only in big cities, electrical energy has become a big part of the survival of village or village communities. Recently,  Renewable Energy (EBT) has been developed to fulfil the demand for electrical energy as a strategic energy source that is useful in anticipating an energy crisis. This study analyzes the feasibility of village-scale solar power plants (PLTS) with a capacity of 11.25 kWp using PVsys software, the system uses 45 pv 250 WP, 9000 Watt Inverter, 2 SCC with a capacity of 5000 W, a battery of 2,400 Ah. The output of the system show is 46.90 kWh per day. The power was used to supply 38 houses with an average load requirement of 35.3 kWh per day or 1 kWh per house. In the PLTS system designed along with economic analysis in the form of an investment value or PWA of IDR 282,674,638, the BEP value is reached in the 12th year, the Net Present Value (NPV) is IDR 9,447,427. The cost of energy is IDR 25,678,500/ year.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country with a geographical condition where 71% of its area is water. This is what coueses Indonesia is considered a country with a high density of lightning strikes. This results in buildings in Indonesia being at a high risk of damage caused by lightning strikes. According to data from BMKG, the city of Malang has a high lightning intensity, with 108 thunderstorm days per year, posing a serious threat to the Electrical Engineering Building of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Malang. Considering the building's age and expansion on the building's side, it is necessary to evaluate the lightning protection system to determine whether the existing system is still working effectively and efficiently. Improving the system's performance against lightning disturbances can be done by analyzing the previous external lightning protection system and then evaluating it using the angle of protection and rolling sphere methods. The analysis and evaluation of the external protection system are based on PUIPP, PUIL, SNI, and IEEE standards.

Abstract

Community consumption power in the use of electricity resources is growing very rapidly. This is because the power source is the main need for the community. Without electricity, daily needs cannot run smoothly. In various regions, especially Kediri, where the needs are changing, it is necessary to predict and provide electricity to meet the consumption needs of the people. There are many things that can be done to predict the need for electric power, one of which is forecasting. Forecasting methods that can be used include trend and Monte Carlo Simulation. The results of this study indicate that Monte Carlo simulations are better at predicting long-term electrical power requirements at ULP3 Kediri. Long-term electricity demand can be predicted with the equation: Yt =138691 + 6709 x t + 231 x t2. The results of the research can help PLN UP3 Kediri to provide electricity for consumers.

Abstract

The increasing use of power electronics in various sectors leads to harmonic distortion in electric power systems, affecting power quality and equipment longevity. While harmonic filters have been used to address this issue, they are limited in effectiveness, particularly in reducing distortion across the entire distribution system. This study aims to reduce harmonic distortion using a zigzag transformer as a more comprehensive solution in mitigating harmonic distortion throughout the entire distribution system. In this research, the zigzag transformer was placed at point common coupling to reduce harmonic distortion in the distribution system as a whole. A zigzag transformer connection was configured by connecting either three windings of a single-phase transformer or one winding of a three-phase transformer. Based on the results of this research, the total harmonic distortion (THD) value has decreased from 25.26 % to 2.48 % following the implementation of the zigzag transformer. This substantial decrease in THD concludes the zigzag transformer's effectiveness as a solution for improving power quality in electrical distribution systems.

Abstract

Transformator merupakan peralatan yang paling merasakan adanya harmonik, karena letaknya yang lebih dekat terhadap beban. Pada transformator, harmonik arus (THD% I) akan menyebabkan peningkatan rugi-rugi tembaga (Cu), sedangkan harmonik tegangan (THD% V) menyebabkan peningkatan rugi-rugi arus Eddy (Eddy Current) sehingga terjadi kerugian daya dan peningkatan temperatur. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gangguan harmonik pada transformator 3 phasa dari pemakaian beban non linier dengan cara mengidentifikasi tingkat dominan harmonik, THD % arus maupun tegangan, peningkatan temperatur dan estimasi kerugian daya yang dimonitoring secara real-time menggunakan software IoT Blink. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa harmonisa arus pada transformator 3 phasa menimbulkan rugi – rugi tembaga (Cu) sebesar 0,0424 pu (setara 57,98 W) dan rugi arus eddy sebesar 0,0370 p.u (setara 50,60W).

Abstract

Berkembangnya peralatan kelistrikan yang termasuk kedalam beban non linier banyak digunakan oleh konsumen karena praktis dan mudah dalam hal pengontrolan. Beban non linier yang pada umumnya terbuat dari bahan-bahan semikonduktor dapat menimbulkan distorsi harmonik pada sistem generator sebagai catu daya listrik. Distorsi dapat menimbulkan masalah pada mutu daya listrik yang akhirnya akan menyebabkan berbagai kerugian dan bahkan kerusakan. Generator listrik akan menghasilkan tegangan/arus berbentuk sinusoida dengan frekuensi 50/60Hz dan disuplai ke beban linier atau non linier. Bentuk gelombang tegangan maupun arus keluaran beban linier akan sama dengan gelombang masukan. Tetapi tidak untuk beban non linier, bentuk gelombang tegangan maupun arus keluaran tidak sama dengan gelombang masukan. Suplai daya ke beban non linier yang mempunyai frekuensi kelipatan bilangan ganjil (150Hz, 250 Hz, 350 Hz, dst) dengan bentuk gelombang yang terdistorsi menjadi non sinoida. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengukuran menggunakan Powermeter dan akuisisi data dengan IoT yaitu aplikasi Blynk. Dengan diakuisisi menggunakan Blynk, kita dapat memonitoring hasil pengukuran Tegangan,arus, daya aktif, daya reaktif, daya semu, Power factor ,THD% arus maupun THD% tegangan secara realtime. Setelah data diperoleh kemudian dianalisa berdasarkan standar IEEE No.519 tahun 1992. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada beban non linier (LHE 8x15W/220V) akan menimbulkan distorsi harmonik yang ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan THD% I sebesar 32,6% diatas standar yang ditetapkan oleh IEEE, sedangan kan THD%V sebesar 1,4% sesuai dengan standar dari IEEE ≤5%. Adanya harmonik terjadi kenaikan arus sebesar 0,689 A dari kondisi arus normal yang menyebabkan kerugian daya pada generator.

Abstract

One of the most difficult topics in natural language understanding (NLU) is emotion detection in text because human emotions are difficult to understand without knowing facial expressions. Because the structure of Indonesian differs from other languages, this study focuses on emotion detection in Indonesian text. The nine experimental scenarios of this study incorporate word embedding (bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT), Word2Vec, and GloVe) and emotion detection models (bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM), LSTM, and convolutional neural network (CNN)). With values of 88.28%, 88.42%, and 89.20% for Commuter Line, Transjakarta, and Commuter Line+Transjakarta, respectively, BERT-BiLSTM generates the highest accuracy on the data. In general, BiLSTM produces the highest accuracy, followed by LSTM, and finally CNN. When it came to word embedding, BERT embedding outperformed Word2Vec and GloVe. In addition, the BERT-BiLSTM model generates the highest precision, recall, and F1-measure values in each data scenario when compared to other models. According to the results of this study, BERT-BiLSTM can enhance the performance of the classification model when compared to previous studies that only used BERT or BiLSTM for emotion detection in Indonesian texts.

Abstract

Di dusun Dukuh Bakulan, Desa Bendowoso, Kecamatan Talun, Kabupaten Blitar terdapat masyarakat ekonomi yang bergerak di bidang tambak ikan. Dalam setiap bulannya tambak ikan tersebut dapat mengeluarkan biaya operasional sekitar 5 juta/bulan di luar gaji para karyawannya. Hasil panen ikan berupa ikan gurami, ikan nila, dan ikan koi setiap tahun juga semakin menurun. Alasannya karena banyak ikan yang mati sebelum waktunya panen atau ikan-ikan tersebut mati pada saat masih kecil. Penyebab ikan-ikan tersebut mati karena air yang di tambak ikan cepat sekali kotor, sehingga kadar oksigennya semakin kecil. Karena alasan tersebut diperlukan instalasi aerator dengan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) untuk meningkatkan kadar oksigen di tambak ikan tersebut. Aerator berfungsi memasukkan oksigen dan melarutkan oksigen tersebut ke dalam air, sehingga kadar oksigen di tambak ikan meningkat dan tetap terjaga dengan baik. Aerator mendapatkan sumber energi listrik dari pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) sebagai suplai daya listrik mandiri. Sumber energi matahari tersedia di alam bebas dan gratis, sehingga pemilik tambak ikan tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya tambahan untuk sumber energi listrik aerator.

Abstract

Terlalu banyak menggunakan pupuk kimia dapat menurunkan kualitas tanah, tidak seimbangnya unsur hara, dan banyaknya organik-organik tanah yang mati. Permasalah ini terjadi pada kelompok tani di Dusun Tawang, Desa Bendosewu, Kecamatan Talun, Kabupaten Blitar. Penurunan hasil panen sudah mereka rasakan akibat terlalu banyak menggunakan pupuk kimia. Untuk memperbaiki kualitas tanah dan mengembalikan keseimbangan unsur hara dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan pupuk organic. Pupuk organik lebih mudah diproses dan dapat dibuat sendiri oleh kelompok tani. Bahan-bahan dasar untuk pembuatan pupuk organic juga mudah didapat di lingkungan sekitar kelompok tani seperti rumput-rumput atau daun-daun yang sudah kering, sisa-sisa jerami padi yang sudah kering dan sampah organic lainnya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan mesin pencacah sampah organik yang dapat membantu mempercepat proses pembuatan pupuk organik. Mesin pencacah sampah organik ini memiliki penggerak motor listrik 1 fasa. Motor listrik lebih efisien dan efektif untuk mesin ini dari pada menggunakan motor bakar. Motor listrik dapat diatur kecepatannya dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan.

Abstract

Pneumonia is a condition characterised by the sudden inflammation of lung tissue, which is triggered by microorganisms such as fungi, viruses, and bacteria. Chest X-ray imaging (CXR) can detect pneumonia, but it requires considerable time and medical expertise. Consequently, the objective of this study is to diagnose pneumonia using CXR imaging in order to effectively detect early cases of pneumonitis in children. The study employs the ensemble transfer learning convolutional neural network (ETL-CNN) transfer learning ensemble, which combines multiple CNN transfer learning models. Resnet50-VGG19 and VGG19-Xception are the ETL-CNN models used in this investigation. Comparing ETL-CNN models to CNN transfer learning models such as Resnet50, VGG19, and Xception. Pediatric CXR pneumonia, which consists of a normal and pneumonia image, is the source of these study results. The results of this analysis indicate that Resnet50-VGG19 achieved the highest level of accuracy, 99.14%. Additionally, the Resnet50-VGG19 obtained the highest levels of precision and recall when comparing to other models. Consequently, the conclusion of this study is that the Resnet50-VGG19 model can generate acceptable classification performance for pediatric pneumonia based on CXR. This study improves classification results for performance when compared to earlier studies.
