Abstract

Strategi pemasaran produk yang efektif dan efisien merupakan komponen yang substansial setelah tahapan produksi untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan tidak hanya untuk pasar dalam negeri tetapi juga pasar internasional. Silvia Piobang Handycraft, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Padang walaupun sudah mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja dan memberdayakan komunitas disabilitas, serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi pemilik dan pegawainya, tetapi masih mengandalkan media promosi konvensional. Tujuan program pengabdian ini untuk menaikkan tingkat pemasaran produk satu usaha kecil, dan pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan, melalui pemasaran konten dan kesadaran merek dengan video profil bilingual; Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Pembuatan video bilingual ini terdiri dari tiga tahap dimulai dengan pre-production, production, dan post-production. Secara keseluruhan dari hasil tayang awal video profil ini di beberapa media sosial UMKM tersebut seperti Instagram, dan YouTube, menunjukkan strategi pemasaran dengan video bilingual ini terhadap kesadaran merek dan jumlah penjualan adalah signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the general overview of the fried pineapple jam agroindustry business in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 2) Describe the general overview of the marketing of fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 3) Analyze the market structure in the fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency,  4) Analyze market behavior in the fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, and 5) Analyze market performance in the fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The sampling method in this study was carried out purposively (intentionally) to the fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village. The scope of the research is limited to the marketing of fried pineapple jam agroindustry using the Structure, Conduct and Performance (SCP) approach. The results of the study showed: 1) The fried pineapple jam agroindustry in Tangkit Baru Village is a household business that is generally managed to increase added value, 2) The fried pineapple jam marketing channel formed consists of 2 marketing channels, namely: (1) agro-industry-consumer; and (2) Agro-industry-retailer-consumer and each institution performs the function of marketing functions including exchange functions, physical functions and facility functions, 3) Fried pineapple jam agroindustry has a strict oligopoly market structure, 4) Market behavior is characterized by the implementation of price strategies, products, promotions and is a capital-intensive agroindustry, and 5) The market performance of the agro-industry of fried pineapple jam is not good with low X-eff and PCM values obtained..

Abstract

Technological advancement has brought ease to all segments of society, particularly in shopping and fulfilling various needs and desires through online shop platforms and social media. These developments have had both positive and negative impacts, especially on adolescents. Teenagers are particularly vulnerable to consumptive behavior when shopping, a phenomenon observed at SMA Swasta Nasional Petatal in Batu Bara Regency. Most adolescents experience consumptive behaviors due to a lack of self-control. This community service initiative aims to provide knowledge, understanding, and skills regarding self-control of consumptive behavior. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, the program was successfully implemented and achieved its objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the transformation of consumption behavior among Generation Z in Indonesia within the context of the digital ecosystem, focusing on how social media shapes consumption patterns and influences marketing strategies adopted by businesses. This transformation reflects a shift from conventional consumption patterns rooted in functional needs toward more emotional, symbolic, and digitally-driven behaviors. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review, data were collected from various secondary sources, including scholarly journals, books, and recent research reports. The findings indicate that social media particularly influencer content and visual trends on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube plays a dominant role in shaping self-image and consumption preferences among Generation Z. Impulsive buying behavior is driven by e-commerce promotions, fear of missing out (FOMO), and peer pressure within digital communities. The ease of transactions via digital wallets, instant promotions, and seamless access to diverse products further reinforces a fast and instant consumption pattern. Unfortunately, this trend is not yet balanced by adequate financial literacy. These findings provide a crucial foundation for developing more personalized, interactive, and educational social media marketing strategies, while also supporting the enhancement of financial literacy among Generation Z, who are navigating an ever-evolving digital era.

Abstract

In the development of technology and its advances in this industrial revolution 4.0 era, the graduates of vocational higher education institution are required to have a ready to use skill as demanded by the job market. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of utilizing mobile applications regarding vocabulary acquisition which occurred within a learning process. It was a project-based learning (PBL) performed during the supervision time of the student’ final project applying dictionary applications; The Free Dictionary and Dictionary.com. A mixed method approach was implemented where the data for the quantitative study was collected from the comparison of Vocabulary Size Test (VST) Monolingual-Version A which were carried out prior to and after the PBL. Moreover, the qualitative data was obtained from semi close-ended questionnaire, and open-structured interview. The result shows the superiority of using the mobile apps through this project-based process and at the same time the apps provide contextualized problem-solving environment to their users. HIGHLIGHTS: Even though written reference sources still have a place for students, it cannot be denied that online reference sources have many advantages in the current process of English teaching and learning. Through the project-based learning, mobile application technology can facilitate the students in the language learning process effectively and efficiently, and empower themselves to get maximum results, which is ultimately improve the output of educational institutions in the future.

Abstract

It has been carried out research with the aim of determining the subsurface structure at the geothermal area of Sonai Village and its surroundings, Konawe Regency. The data used are magnetic data obtained through field measurements at 126 points in the N180oS direction. After the data were subjected to diurnal and IGRF corrections, a residual (local) magnetic field anomaly of around -150 nT to 90 nT was obtained. On the residual magnetic anomaly map which has been reduced to the Pole (RTP), the Euler Deconvolution (ED) method is applied to the Index Structure N=0 to estimate the subsurface structure in the form of the presence of minor faults, and it is known that there are 5 minor faults at a depth of around 9 to 38 meters. Information on the existence of these faults is then used in 2D modeling. Modeling results show that these minor faults cut through two rock layers, which are the layers composed of conglomerate rocks from the Alangga Formation and peridotites as bedrock from the Ultramafic Complex. One of the minor faults closest to the manifestation area (hot spring) is at coordinates around 4o1’12.412” S and 122o7’24.263” E to 4o1’15.532” S and 122o7’19.561” E with a distance of ±15 meters. The existence of these minor faults is thought to be the migration routes for heat flow or conduction to the surface at the geothermal area of Sonai Village and its surroundings.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent girls are a group that is vulnerable to anemia due to increased iron requirements during growth and menstruation. Lack of knowledge about the importance of iron tablet consumption is one of the factors causing low compliance in anemia prevention. This study aims to determine the knowledge of adolescent girls about iron tablets at MTs Muhammadiyah Special Program Bayat, Klaten.  Methods: A quantitative descriptive design with total sampling technique was used. The sample consisted of 50 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument used a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed univariately with frequency distribution using statistical data processing software.  Results: The results showed that most adolescent girls had a good level of knowledge about iron tablets, with 34 respondents (68%). Based on age characteristics, good knowledge was more prevalent among early adolescents, with 26 respondents (68%), while based on grade level, the majority were in grade VII, with 15 respondents (64%). The most common source of information was teachers, with 18 respondents (82%).  Conclusion: Most female adolescents at MTs Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Bayat have good knowledge about iron tablets. The recommendation from this study is the need to improve health education through UKS activities and regular counseling by health workers and teachers so that adolescents better understand the importance of regular iron tablet consumption to prevent anemia.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) di Perpustakaan Al-Hijrah Balai Diklat Kegamaan Makassar dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan melalui penerapan sistem otomatis SLiMS. Metode yang digunakan meliputi partisipasi langsung dan pendamping teknis terhadap berbagai kegiatan pengelolaan bahan pustaka, seperti klasifikasi, katalogisasi, penginputan data, pelabelan, peyusunan koleksi di rak serta penyusunan boring akreditasi hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa penerapan SLiMS memberikan dampak siginifikan terhadap peningkatan efisiensi dan ketetapan pengelolaan data koleksi. Proses pengolahan bahan pustaka menjadi lebih cepat, akurat, dan terorganisir dengan baik.selain itu penggunaan SLiMS memudahkan pustakawan dalam penyedian informasi koleksi melalui layanan OPAC, yang memperluas akses informasi bagi pemustaka. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa dalam menerapka kompetensi teknis kepustakawanan, serta menumbuhkan pemahaman terhadap pentingnya digitalisasi dalam sistem manajemen perpustakaan.

Abstract

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake and Tsunami issue that hit Padang City in 2009 caused Bung Hatta University to move its Campus to the Aie Pacah area, which is the green belt for the Tsunami. Results in the loss of income of people who have boarding rooms. Especially the RT 002RW 005 Housekeeping Group Wisma Wisma Warta Ulak Karang Padang, which located near the entrance of the campus. Because many boarding rooms left by students who moved to move near the new university. The purpose of this service is to increase community income by utilizing vacant rooms as a place/land for the cultivation of ear mushroom cultivation (Auricularia auricula). The method of carrying out this activity is training at the backlog maintenance stage, without preparing to make backlogs, the backlog is purchased from backlog artisans to accelerate the return of capital, bookkeeping training, business management training such as packaging, brands and business licenses. This community service program, in the third week, has been able to make money and increase the income of this group, replacing the boarding house/boarding house—fresh ear mushrooms sold per kg of Rp. 100,000 The group's ear mushroom brand is "S'ARICULA" (Fresh and Processed Ear Mushroom). This Community Service Program can solve problems with this group.
