Abstract

This literature study explores the potential of digital-based Islamic education in strengthening the moral character of Muslim youth. Reviewing existing literature on the topic, this study highlights the benefits and challenges of incorporating digital technologies in Islamic education. It presents strategies for effectively utilizing these tools to promote moral development. The literature review results suggest that digital-based Islamic education can provide a flexible and accessible platform for students to engage with Islamic teachings and develop their moral reasoning. Digital technologies such as online modules, interactive simulations, and social media platforms can deliver Islamic education to a broader audience, including those unable to attend traditional Islamic schools or mosques. However, the study also identified several challenges in implementing digital- based Islamic education, such as the need for proper regulation and oversight, concerns about the quality of online content, and the potential for technology to promote superficial engagement with Islamic teachings. To overcome these challenges, the study recommends that educators and developers of digital Islamic education programs prioritize integrating interactive and reflective learning activities, provide opportunities for direct experiences and community engagement, and emphasize developing critical thinking and moral reasoning skills. Additionally, regulatory bodies and Islamic institutions should establish guidelines and standards for digital-based Islamic education to ensure the quality and accuracy of online content. Overall, this literature study suggests that digital-based Islamic education can be an effective tool for strengthening the moral character of Muslim youth. However, it requires careful planning and thoughtful implementation to realize its potential fully.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in improving students' understanding of the concept of monotheism in junior high school. This method was applied to create an active and collaborative learning atmosphere through problem solving that is relevant to students' daily lives. The results showed that the application of PBL was able to significantly improve students' engagement, motivation, and understanding of the basic concepts of monotheism. The learning process began with problem identification, group discussions, solution presentations, and joint reflection. Through this approach, students not only gained cognitive understanding of tauhid theory but also honed their critical thinking, communication, and application of tauhid values in their lives. Thus, the PBL method can be recommended as an effective alternative in tauhid education at the junior high school level to achieve the holistic and contextual goals of Islamic Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of integrated therapy on the learning abilities of children with developmental disorders. The research method used in this study was the literature method. The results showed that children with developmental disorders often have difficulty learning. This can affect their academic performance and overall development. To address this problem, experts have developed various types of therapy. One promising approach is integrated therapy. Integrated therapy combines several types of therapy in one programme. For example, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioural therapy can be combined. The goal is to help the child holistically, not just focus on one aspect. Much research has been done to see the effectiveness of integrated therapy. The results are quite positive. Children who participate in this therapy generally show improvement in various aspects. They find it easier to concentrate, communicate better, and their motor skills improve. In fact, their social and emotional abilities also improve. Even so, there is still a lot to learn about integrated therapy. For example, how best to apply it to children with different disorders. Also, more research is needed on how this therapy works in the long term. Overall, integrated therapy seems to be a good option to help children with developmental learning disabilities. However, further research is still needed to maximise its benefits.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia face serious systemic challenges in institutional governance that impede quality improvement and competitiveness in an era of accelerating globalisation. This study aims to analyse the urgency and role of educational management in the development of Islamic educational institutions, to identify effective strategies for improving management quality, and to describe the role of evaluation and innovation in strengthening institutional sustainability. A qualitative approach was employed through a library research method of a conceptual and descriptive-analytical nature. Data sources comprised peer-reviewed journals, educational management texts, and relevant research reports, which were examined using content analysis and qualitative-descriptive analysis techniques. The findings reveal that the management of most Islamic educational institutions remains dominated by traditional, top-down leadership patterns, is weak in strategic planning, and makes minimal use of management technology; these conditions collectively suppress service quality and institutional competitiveness. Three interdependent factors were consistently identified as the primary determinants of sustainable institutional development: the quality of management and the availability of professional human resources, community support and public trust, and the existence of a functioning system of evaluation and continuous innovation. This study concludes that high-quality educational management, namely one that integrates the POAC functions (Planning, Organising, Actuating, Controlling), Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, strategic management approaches, and core Islamic managerial values such as amanah, syura, and itqan, constitutes the cornerstone for developing Islamic educational institutions that are excellent, adaptive, and highly competitive in meeting the educational challenges of the twenty-first century.
