Abstract

Not a few mothers who work in a formal work environment decide to quit and start a new career and become entrepreneurs, which makes them part of the phenomenon often known as "mompreneur," which is a combination of her mother role and her chosen entrepreneurial role, which adequately illustrates the complexity of the responsibilities and roles that mothers play daily. With the enormous responsibility of being a mother and the center of the family, a mother's job satisfaction and psychological well-being as she goes about her day are very important. This study was conducted on 89 mompreneurs in Bandung City with a quantitative non-experimental approach through a written questionnaire conducted via small groups of mompreneurs. This study proved that job satisfaction significantly affects psychological well-being and found that job satisfaction is negatively related to marital status. In contrast, Psychological well-being is positively related to education. This study suggests that mompreneurs' socioeconomic situation does not significantly affect their job satisfaction and well-being. At the same time, most previous research focuses on the boarder concept of working mothers.

Abstract

Research on the reliability and validity of the work life balance construct is important considering that in Indonesia there is currently no instrument specifically used to measure or assess work life balance and because of the development of an understanding of the work life balance construct which always develops as a multidimensional construct. The subjects in this study were 460 employees of State-Owned Company in Bandung. The work life balance scale used in this study is an adaptation of the work life balance questionnaire developed by Gwenith G. Fisher, Carrie A. Bulger and Carlla S. Smith (in Journal of Occupational Health Psychology 2009, Vol. 14, No. 4, 441–456). In this study, the method of analysis is the confirmatory factor. The results showed that the items for the work life balance scale had SLF values ranging from 0.75 to 0.912 so that all items could be said to be valid. CR value is 0.976 and VE is 0.707, which means a reliable work life balance scale. Work life balance scale is devided into two aspects, namely demands and resources. The demands aspect consists of 2 (two) sub aspects, namely work interference with personal life (PLIW) and personal life interference with work (PLIW) and. The second aspect, namely resources has 2 (two) sub aspects, namely work enhancement of personal life (WEPL) and personal life enhancement ofwork (PLEW).

Abstract

The shame belongs to negative emotions, which in many psychological studies are associated with negative behaviors. The discomfort that a person experiences when he feels shame is associated with the emergence of negative behavior. Indonesians, especially people in Pekanbaru City who are closely attached to the teachings of Islam, view Shame as a more positive. Feeling uncomfortable will make people control their behavior and avoid shameful behavior. This study investigated the correlation between shame-proneness and Customer Oriented-Organizational Citizenship Behavior (CO-OCB) on 331 civil servants from 15 Pekanbaru government instances randomly selected. Result suggest that shame-proneness has a positive relationship with CO-OCB (r = 233, p = 0.00). Compared to felt-shame, the dimension of anticipatory shame has a higher correlation coefficient with CO-OCB and its dimensions (helping behavior, sportsmanship, organization loyalty, organization compliance, individual initiative, and civic virtue) except self-development. Civil servants need to internalize the shame to violate the rules so that they tend to act according to the rules and provide the best for the organization in which they work.

Abstract

The digital transformation of MSMEs is crucial for Indonesia’s economic growth. Recognizing this, the government has initiated the UMKM Go Digital program to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs. However, many MSME entrepreneurs, particularly mothers (mompreneurs), face challenges in adopting technology for their businesses. These challenges may hinder their ability to fully adopt digital platforms, affecting their business performance and overall economic contribution. This study aims to analyze the relationship between performance expectancy and ICT adoption behavior in the Mompreneur Fashion MSME sector. This study was conducted on 125 mompreneurs in Bandung’s fashion MSME sector with a convenience sampling technique approach through a questionnaire.  The data was analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Performance Expectancy has a positive and significant effect on ICT Adoption Behavior. The novelty of this research is its focus on mompreneurs, a group that has not been widely studied in the context of technology adoption for entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a vital role in Indonesia’s food security and economy, yet it often faces challenges such as limited resources, budget efficiency policies, and suboptimal employee performance. Within agricultural institutions, human resources are critical for the success of strategic programs, making it essential to examine how organizational climate and work engagement influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational climate on performance with work engagement as a mediator. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, the research involved 75 civil servants in agricultural institutions in West Java through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring organizational climate (LSOCQ), work engagement (UWES), and job performance (IWPQ), and analyzed with regression and mediation testing via Hayes PROCESS Macro. The findings indicate that organizational climate positively and significantly influences work engagement, work engagement significantly affects performance, and fully mediates the relationship between organizational climate and performance. Thus, the positive effect of organizational climate on performance occurs indirectly through work engagement. These results support the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, positioning organizational climate as a crucial job resource that fosters vigor, dedication, and absorption, thereby enhancing employee performance. Practically, this study highlights the importance of creating a supportive organizational climate and strengthening work engagement strategies to improve productivity and food security in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This current study aims to adapt the Work Regulatory Focus Scale into the Indonesian version, following the International Test Commission (ITC) Guidelines for Test Adaptation. Thisis cross-sectional study involved 218 participants from a local bank with several branches in Indonesia. Confirmatory Factor Analysis using Lisrel 8.80 was employed to analyze the data. Regulatory focus and work engagement are correlated to determine convergent validity, while CR (Construct Reliability) evaluates reliability. The results of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis indicate that the Work Regulatory Focus Scale model fits the data best (RMSEA = .073, NFI = .94, CFI = .96, Standardized RMR = .065, and AGFI = .93, p = .000). The scale also demonstrates good reliability, with a CR value of .798 for promotion focus and .778 for prevention focus. Furthermore, a relationship between work regulatory focus and work engagement was found. These findings indicate that the Work Regulatory Focus has good psychometric properties and provides supports for applicability in the Indonesian context.
