Abstract

Nowadays, plastic waste has become a global issue on both the international and national levels, the same thing also occurred at the local level, including in Pekanbaru city. This cherished city has the potential to generate over 500 tonnes of rubbish every day, of which 14% is plastic waste. Even if it has a lesser volume than organic waste, the greatest concern is that it is difficult to digest by microorganisms in the soil, thus it can persist for a long period (10 – 500 years). Numerous initiatives have been made by scientists to reduce plastic waste. Among these, by employing the 3R principle, it can become something valuable. There are also people who try to convert it into building materials, including as paving stones and bricks. However, the final product retains its dull (dark) hue, making it less appealing. This research has established a process or method for melting plastic such that it can be used as a raw material for new goods while retaining its original hue.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman menuntut kemudahan diberbagai sisi. Dalam rangka pengurangan penggunaan energi fosil secara langsung diberbagai sisi, banyak cara telah dilakukan. Salah satunya adalah dengan mengkonversi penggerak mesin diesel menjadi mesin listrik akan menurunkan biaya pokok produksi. Hal ini juga terlihat pada kendaraan (sepeda motor maupun mobil) yang pelan namun pasti berubah ke penggunaan energi listrik. Pencacahan sampah organik menjadi kompos telah dilakukan diberbagai tempat. Hanya saja, mayoritas mesin yang digunakan berpenggerak dengan memanfaatkan energi fosil. Perubahan penggerak diesel menjadi motor listrik memerlukan kajian yang mendalam agar keberlangsungan produksi kompos dapat terjaga. Analisis untuk mendapatkan kapasitas mesin penggerak yang sesuai telah dilakukan, dan disesuaikan dengan mata pisau yang digunakan. Pencacah yang menggunakan konstruksi pisau berbentuk kipas dengan sejumlah mata yang tajam memotong benda yang didekatkan padanya. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat mengimplementasikan penggunaan mesin listrik sebagai penggerak awal mesin pencacah sampah organik

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi listrik untuk mengoperasikan peralatan listrik seperti kompor listrik, kipas angin, pendingin udara (AC) dan masih banyak lagi peralatan yang lain. Dalam menggunakan peralatan listrik sesuai dengan SNI dan PUIL 2011 agar masyarakat sebagai konsumen energi listrik bisa aman dan terhindar dari kesalahan atau gangguan. Akibat dari kesalahan atau gangguan bisa menyebabkan bahaya bagi masyarakat sebagai konsumen pemakai energi listrik. Berdasarkan hasil tabel 1 mitra diperoleh peningkatan mitra kegiatan pengabdian tentang bagaimana mengetahui dan memahami cara Cara Pemfaatan dan Penghematan Energi listrik setelah sosialisasi 100 %, Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL) 2011 sebesar 90 %, Standarisasi Nasional Indonesia (SNI) bidang Ketenagalistrikan sebesar 95 %, Pemanfaatan Energi Listrik sesuai PUIL dan SNI sesuai Standar Nasional Indonesia bidang Ketenagalistrikan (SNI) sebesar 95 %, dan Penghematan energi listrik sesuai PUIL dan SNI sebesar 95 %.

Abstract

Energi matahari dapat dimanfaatkan dengan menggunakan alat yang mampu menerima dan mengkonversikannya menjadi energi listrik pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Sistem tenaga listrik dituntut menghasilkan daya listrik yang berkualitas, terutama untuk menyuplai suatu beban yang penting dan sensitif. Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai kualitas daya berdasarkan gelombang harmonisa pada inverter. Dari hasil analisa di dapat Inverter satu phasa tegangan input 24 VDC, output 230 VAC frekuensi 50 Hz Yang menimbulkan harmonisa sebesar 44,58 % pada arus dan tegangan. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan filter LC dengan nilai R sebesar 98,44 Ω, L sebesar 0,154 H dan C sebesar 1,289 µF untuk merubah inverter gelombang persegi menjadi sinus menggunakan aplikasi MATLAB/Simulink. Total Harmonic Distorsion arus (THDi) sebelum menggunakan filter sebesar 42,60 %, Total Harmonic Distorsion arus (THDi) sebesar 41,92 %. Nilai total harmonic distorsion (THD) setelah menggunakan filter LC turun pada nilai total harmonic distorsion tegangan (THDv) 32,50 % dan THDi 32,59 %. dari hasil yang di dapat pada pemakaian baterai GS Maintenance 12 V 85 Ah tahan selama 90 menit.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has various types of mushrooms, both those that are edible and those that are not. One type of edible mushroom is the oyster mushroom. In its growth, oyster mushrooms are greatly influenced by the temperature and humidity in the mushroom house. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of temperature and humidity on mushroom productivity and to identify the optimal temperature and humidity for mushroom growth. The research method involved measuring temperature and humidity in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night every day for 2 months, namely June and July 2024. The temperature and humidity data collected were the daily averages. After obtaining the average daily temperature and humidity data, the next step was to observe the shape and color of the oyster mushrooms and collect data on the number of mushrooms obtained each day for 2 months. From the data analysis, it was found that the oyster mushrooms hardened and turned yellow when the temperature and humidity were unstable for mushroom growth. The optimal average temperature and humidity were 27°C and 82%, with the number of mushrooms obtained being 55kg/day.

Abstract

Pada sistem pengendali kecepatan motor DC, menjaga kestabilan kecepatan putaran dan mencapai respon sistem yang optimal merupakan hal yang penting. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, diperlukan pengendali yang dapat menjaga kinerja motor DC agar tetap stabil. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah Self-tuning fuzzy PID. Dengan menggunakan metode Self-tuning fuzzy PID, diharapkan sistem pengendalian mampu menghasilkan kecepatan putaran motor DC yang stabil dan respon sistem yang optimal. Nilai Error dan Delta Error yang diperoleh dari sistem kendali PID saat menggunakan Set point 8100 digunakan sebagai acuan dalam menentukan domain fungsi keanggotaan Input Error dan Delta Error pada perencanaan sistem kendali Fuzzy PID. Penetapan aturan dalam tahap Inferensi juga berperan penting dalam menentukan hasil keputusan akhir pada tahap Defuzifikasi. Parameter PID dengan nilai Kp = 0,2, Ki = 0,25, dan Kd = 0,12 yang digunakan dalam sistem kendali PID menjadi acuan dalam menentukan domain fungsi keanggotaan Output Kp, Ki, dan Kd pada perencanaan sistem kendali Fuzzy PID. Penalaan parameter Kp, Ki, dan Kd menggunakan Fuzzy Logic akan beradaptasi secara dinamis terhadap perubahan nilai Error dan Delta Error, sehingga menjaga stabilitas kecepatan motor DC dari perubahan yang disebabkan oleh beban. Jika dibandingkan dengan pengujian Sistem Kendali PID, Sistem Kendali Fuzzy PID dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan peningkatan parameter respons sistem, seperti Settling time sebesar 7,04 detik yang lebih cepat 1,4 detik daripada sistem kendali PID yang menghasilkan Settling time sebesar 8,44 detik atau terjadi kenaikan waktu Settling time sebesar 19,89%, Rise time sebesar 3,58 detik lebih cepat 0,08 detik daripada sistem kendali PID yang menghasilkan Rise time sebesar 3,66 detik atau terjadi kenaikan waktu Rise time sebesar 2,19%,, Overshoot sebesar 1,2963%, dan Steady State Error = 0. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Kendali Fuzzy PID memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik daripada Sistem Kendali PID. In the control system of a DC motor speed, maintaining speed stability and achieving optimal system response are crucial. To achieve these goals, a controller is needed to maintain the performance of the DC motor and ensure its stability. One of the methods used is Self-tuning fuzzy PID. By utilizing the Self-tuning fuzzy PID method, it is expected that the control system can achieve a stable DC motor speed and optimal system response. The Error and Delta Error values obtained from the PID control system when using a Setpoint of 8100 are used as references to determine the membership function domains of Input Error and Delta Error in the design of the Fuzzy PID control system. The establishment of rules in the Inference stage also plays a crucial role in determining the final decision in the Defuzzification stage. The PID parameters with values of Kp = 0.2, Ki = 0.25, and Kd = 0.12 used in the PID control system serve as references to determine the membership function domains of Output Kp, Ki, and Kd in the design of the Fuzzy PID control system. The tuning of Kp, Ki, and Kd parameters using Fuzzy Logic dynamically adapts to changes in Error and Delta Error values, thus maintaining the stability of the DC motor speed in response to load changes. When compared to the testing of the PID Control System, the Fuzzy PID Control System in this study resulted in improved system response parameters. For instance, the settling time was 7.04 seconds, which is 1.4 seconds faster than the PID control system that had a settling time of 8.44 seconds, representing an increase of 19.89%. The rise time was 3.58 seconds, 0.08 seconds faster than the PID control system with a rise time of 3.66 seconds, indicating a rise time increase of 2.19%. The overshoot was 1.2963%, and the steady-state error was 0. This result indicates that the Fuzzy PID Control System provides better performance than the PID Control System.

Abstract

This research analyzes how the reflection of sunlight intensity affects the power generated by a 100WP monocrystalline solar panel with the addition of various reflector tilt angles. An experimental method was used to conduct this analysis by comparing three tests: a solar panel without a reflector, with a 60° angled reflector, and with a 75° angled reflector. Data was collected at one-hour intervals from 09:00 to 16:00 WIB, measuring parameters such as temperature, intensity, voltage, current, and power. The results showed that the addition of a flat mirror reflector significantly improved the performance of the solar panel. With a 75° tilt angle, the total power generated was 373.32W, compared to the total power generated at 60° of 366.93W and without a reflector of 208.62W. The highest power peak was achieved at 13:00 WIB with the 75° reflector at 69.31W. This research demonstrates that a reflector tilt angle of 75° is the most optimal for increasing the efficiency of monocrystalline solar panels as it distributes sunlight more evenly across the panel surface. The recommendation for future research is the utilization of software-based simulations and IoT integration for real-time monitoring, to strengthen experimental data validation and expand the application of this technology at both industrial and household scales.

Abstract

Energi listrik saat ini telah menjadi kebutuhan energi primer pada masyarakat kita. Hal ini juga terlihat pada mitra yaitu Pesantren Tahfiz Al Quds yang berada di Kawasan Rumbai Timur. Mitra sering mengalami padamnya listrik di lokasi mereka. Alhamdulillah saat ini mitra telah memiliki Generator Set sendiri, sehingga pada saat suplai energi dari PT. PLN tidak bisa ada, mereka masih bisa mengaktifkan generator untuk kebutuhan penerangan. Namun genset yang mereka miliki saat ini masih dioperasikan secara manual. Hal ini menjadi kendala tersendiri jika pemutusan energi listrik dari PT. PLN tersebut terjadi saat-saat mereka sedang beraktivitas ataupun pada saat mereka sedang tertidur lelap. Berdasarkan permasalahan mitra, hasil survey tim IbM ke lokasi kegiatan yaitu Pondok Pesantren Tahfiz Al Quds Kecamatan Rumbai Timur. Luaran dari kegiatan IbM ini selain menghibahkan satu set peralatan ATS, juga memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan santri tentang pengoperasian generator serta pengetahuan dasar tentang ketenagalistrikan

Abstract

Temperature and humidity in the barn greatly affect the growth of oyster mushrooms. Therefore, it is necessary to keep air circulation inside the barn optimised. Betuah mushroom SMEs faces the difficulties in controlling both optimum temperature and humidity for oyster mushroom growth. Therefore, this serviceaims to utilise Internet of Thing (IoT) technology to regulate temperature and humidity for oyster mushroom cultivation using DHT22 sensors in Betuah mushroom MSMEs located in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The stages of the method used include socialisation, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation and program sustainability. From the service carried out, microcontroller-based automatic temperature and humidity control technology with an IoT system was successfully applied. The resulting tool can control the temperature and humidity in the barn according to the set limits. The produced products improved in terms of quality, which the oyster mushroom's both flesh and color is respectively not hard nor yellow. The quantity of fresh mushrooms produced is stable and increasing per day, ranging from 15-20 kg/day to 20-30 kg/day production
