Abstract

Background: Nurse job satisfaction is an important component of a nurse's life because it will have an impact on patient safety, productivity, performance and service quality. Job satisfaction felt by nurses appears with the motivation. The development carried out can help novice nurses become experts. This is also a process of maintaining the quality and increasing the competence of nurses. Objective: To analyze the work motivation of nurses on job satisfaction in providing nursing services during the pandemic. Method: This descriptive correlational study was conducted using Cross Sectional approach involving 55 nurses. NonProbability Sampling and Purposive Sampling. This research instrument uses a questionnaire Application Needs A. Maslow - Nursalam. Data collection with frequency distribution analysis and SEM PLS 3.0 analysis. Results: The final analysis showed This study illustrates that prehospital nurses obtained a positive mean value of 0.414 end obtained a development value the mean has a positive value of 0.517. The results showed that there were 2 dimensions of nurse motivation that were significantly related to job satisfaction, namely the Recognition of Job Satisfaction (p 0.007) and the Development Dimension of Job Satisfaction (p 0.000), meaning (sig value) < 0.05. Achievement (p 0.638), Nature of Work (p 0.621) and Responsibility (p 0.951) sig value > 0.05. Conclusion: Focus on the development of education and knowledge, and make a planned schedule related to nurse development. the existence of full managerial support for nurses to be able to improve their performance so that nurses can achieve success in their careers. Abstract

The ability to direct nursing managers is very important in improving the performance of subordinates. Briefing should be carried out by an officer who has been given responsibility or who is called a supervisor. Supervisor should be responsible for the performance of staff in the process. Supervision should provide a safe and confidential environment for staff to reflect and discuss their work, which enhances their awareness and clinical skills and leads on increasing competence. Also stated that in providing education and direction a supervisor must have communication skills, psychological understanding and be a good role model. explained that the ability to direct a supervisor consists of the ability to schedule supervision including time and agenda, the ability to provide constructive feedback, the ability to collaborate, respect and provide support and the ability to Boundary or form bonds. The GROW model is one of the most widely used models in training and teaching programs.This model can be modified into the T-GROW model based on the topic of briefing to be given.Purpose: Conduct a literature review to determine the effectiveness of the T-GROW model on the supervisor's directive abilities. A literature search was carried out using the keywords GROW AND Effectiveness AND Nurse supervisor model using the prism method search engine database PubMed, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar and obtained 109 research articles and then checking the completeness of the menu on the research articles with a total of 54 articles. done the separation of criteria and the critical review stage used the Joanna Bringgs Institute (JBI) format with a total of articles that were reviewed in the literature. The ability to direct a nursing supervisor consists of five, namely the ability to communicate, the ability to set schedules, tasks and responsibilities, the ability to bind individuals, the ability to be a role model and the ability to provide feedback. The T-GROW model training is effective in improving teacher skills and behavior in providing direction and learning to students and is also effectively used in organizing leadership training. and effective in teaching, learning and supervision. The T-GROW model is effective in teaching, learning and supervision. The T-GROW model has not been widely applied in clinical services, so it is recommended that future researchers apply the T-GROW model to improve the ability to direct nursing supervisors in supervising.

Abstract

Nurses frequently utilize social media in their professional activities in the digital era. However, there are concerns that some nurses engage in behaviours that breach ethical and legal standards when using social media, potentially impacting patient safety and legal repercussions. One approach to mitigate these impacts is through digital literacy training. This training aims to enhance nurses' knowledge, attitudes, and skills in responsibly utilizing social media for improved patient care. The training was delivered in lectures, simulations, and case studies over 8 hours. A total of 38 nurses participated in this training. After attending the training, the nurses' knowledge scores improved from 24% to 88%. Additionally, their attitudes towards the use of social media showed a positive increase, with 96.4% having a positive attitude post-training. Competence in using social media also improved, from 63.43% to 84.6%. Digital literacy training is vital in enhancing nurses' understanding and proficiency in using social media ethically and responsibly.

Abstract

Fokus pelayanan kesehatan saat ini tidak hanya diberikan kepada pasien namun juga pada keluarga pasien, selain itu tenaga kesehatan sudah memberikan pendidikan kepada keluarga untuk merawat pasien bipolar dirumah. Namun nyatanya banyak pasien bipolar yang datang berobat kembali karena mengalami kekambuhan pada penyakitnya sehingga hal ini menjadi fokus yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengalaman keluarga dalam merawat pasien bipolar dirumah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sepuluh orang partisipan diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses wawancara mendalam pada bulan Maret 2023. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 6 tema menggunakan analisis metode collaizi, yaitu 1) Adaptasi fokal tidak adekuat; 2) Kebutuhan edukasi untuk keluarga; 3) Dukungan terhadap keluarga yang merawat pasien bipolar; 4) Upaya keluarga dalam merawat pasien bipolar; 5) Kebutuhan pelayanan kesehatan jiwa yang komprehensif; dan 6) Beban yang dirasakan keluarga dalam merawat pasien bipolar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran pengalaman keluarga dalam merawat pasien bipolar. Tema-tema yang teridentifikasi dalam penelitian dapat menjadi dasar pelaksanaan praktik layanan kesehatan. Selain itu pelayanan kesehatan jiwa hendaknya dapat mengoptimalkan berbagai program edukasi dan pemberdayaan kepada keluarga sehingga mereka dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kualitas dalam merawat pasien bipolar.Kata Kunci        :  pengalaman, keluarga, gangguan bipolar, perawatan

Abstract

Job satisfaction of nurses need serious attention because nurses care provider with the largest and longest time to patients. The achievement of hospitals BOR is low (26.20%) that be caused the result of achievement of the performance of nurses are not optimal yet, this is caused to the dissatisfaction of nurses to hospitals management. The aim of this research is to find determinant factors that related to job satisfaction of nurses executive in RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. This research is know deskriptive correlation with cross sectional to 72 executive nurses in RSUD dr. Rasidin. Instrument of the research is questionnaire. Univariate data analysis used frequency distribution, bivariate with chi square test, and multivariate used logistic regression test. The result of the research is 51.4% executive nurses state dissatisfaction in working. Chi-square test is obtained there is significant correlation between the incentive, promotion opportunity, and supervision with job satisfaction. There is not correlation between the leadership, and work environment condition with job satisfaction. The result of multivariate analysis is obtained variable incentive that is dominant factors related to job satisfaction of nurses. It is expected the stakeholders of hospital management to consider the burned and risk of work based on objective performance assesment, the setting of level system performance-based on achievement career. Running the monitoring system to nursing care is given by executive nurses, and immediately to do accreditation of hospital to improve the quality of hospital services.

Abstract

The use of technology using the internet during online learning has both positive and negative impacts on children. The positive impact of online learning is that it is easy for children to get information via the internet, while one of the negative impacts of using the internet on children is the occurrence of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying occurs when an individual or group uses electronic media and other technology to harm other parties. Several reports from parents of SD N 03 that their children's schools spend more time with electronic media. So that it can cause children to do cyberbullying. To avoid and prevent cyberbullying in children, knowledge dissemination was held with students and class teachers as well as vice principals for student affairs. The process of dissemination of knowledge runs smoothly, students follow closely. Based on the results of the dissemination of knowledge given to students of SD N 03 Alai padang, the average value of students' knowledge and understanding was obtained before the dissemination of knowledge with a mean value = 67.1 while for the results after dissemination of knowledge with a mean value of 69.3. the test results stated that there was an increase in children's understanding of the results of dissemination of knowledge given to students on the topic of cyberbullying. The evaluation results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding and knowledge in cyberbullying. Understanding process is done by pre-posttest. With this activity the school and parents can work together to provide support to children. Optimum monitoring and assistance, to avoid unwanted behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of assertive communication training on implementing nurse who experience interpersonal conflict on their performance in carrying out nursing care at the IRNA RSUD Solok. This type of research is a quasi experimental approaches one group pretest. Samples in this studies using total sampling technique, with a sample of 24 people. Interpersonal conflict is measured by questionnaires and respondents in providing nursing care was measured using the observation sheet. Were processed using statistical tests homogeneity. Marginal test obtained p = 0.00 ( 0.05 ) this shows there is a significant effect of training assertive communication on the performance of the experienced nurses managing interpersonal conflict in providing nursing care. Suggested to the hospital to provide training of assertive working environment for all nurses in staff development programs in an effort to improve the quality of nursing care in hospitals. Then to research in order investigation with another models in manage conflicts in organization.

Abstract

Employee dissatisfaction in the work will have an unfavorable situation for the organization and individual. Indicator of job dissatisfaction seen in ER DR M Djamil Hospital is the high rate of absenteeism, increased morbidity, turn over and the other of work discipline problems. This study purposes to determine the relationship of individual factors (interests and attitudes), social factors (interactions with fellow nurse and supervisor) and occupational factors (work conditions and supervision) with job satisfaction of nurses in emergency rooms DR M Djamil Hospital Padang. Research design using descriptive analytic with cross sectional study in which the sample is the entire population and nurses in emergency rooms DR M Djamil Hospital Padang, amounting to 45 people. To determining of the relationship between variables using chi square test and logistic regression. The test results are statistically significant relationship between interests and job satisfaction (p=0.004), attitudes and job satisfaction (p=0.003), the interaction of employees with employer and job satisfaction (p=0.000), supervision and job satisfaction (p=0.000), there is no significant relationship between the interaction of fellow employees with job satisfaction (p=0.334), working conditions and job satisfaction (p=0.727),while the results of logistic regression showed that supervision is the most dominant variables associated with job satisfaction (p=0.002) Expected results of the study can be used by managerial of nursing to further improve the job satisfaction of nurses in order to improve the quality of health services, especially nursing care in the ER.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one indicator of the quality of health services. However, it needs to be recognized that patient expectations have not been fulfilled by health services, this is reflected in the still low level of patient satisfaction in various health service centers. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare patient satisfaction in three government hospitals in Batam City. The government hospitals are Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP), Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD), and RSBP. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive analytic design and cross sectional approach. The study population was patients who visited all three hospitals with a total sample of 762 people taken by accidental sampling technique. The data was taken using a questionnaire issued by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) on hospital services. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from April to June 2019. The dependent variable of the study was Patient Satisfaction measured using SMIs and the independent variable was service performance in three Riau Islands referral hospitals. The results showed that the RSUD and RSUP had a good service performance assessment, while the RSBP service performance was judged to be poor. However, the satisfaction of patients assessed through IKM in RSBP is the highest compared to the other two hospitals. This study shows the low performance value of RSBP services is not in line with the high IKM value. This can be caused even though they do not have good service performance, but because RSBP is the last reference, which makes them have no choice but to be satisfied with the existing conditions. Nevertheless, it is hoped that hospitals can improve the performance of service providers so that they can satisfy patients as service users.

Abstract

Comfort and satisfaction in service are the reasons why patients choose the same hospital when they need treatment or come home for physical discomfort, psycho-spiritual, environmental and socio-cultural. Patient satisfaction in some areas is low with average patient satisfaction about 64,3% while according to Kemenkes (2012) patient satisfaction standard to treatment is more than 90%. This study aims to describe and analyze the comfort and satisfaction of patients in the process of interaction nursing service in RSUD Petala Bumi Year 2016. This type of research is an analytic description with a sample of 41 implementing nurses who are in Installation of inpatient. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the nurses were in the Early Adult age group (26-35 years) and female gender. More than half the nurses are DIII Nursing and duration of less than 5 years. The result of patient's comfort in interaction process more than half was in comfortable category (52,03%), and patient satisfaction in interaction process more than half of patient was in satisfied category (72,36%.). Bivariate analysis shows the relationship between the long characteristics of nurses working with the comfort and satisfaction of patients in the interaction process of nursing service. It was concluded that the duration of nurse work is an individual factor that gives comfort and satisfaction of the patient in interaction process of nursing service. It is expected that the hospital management consider the individual factors of the nurse as one of the factors that can affect the comfort and satisfaction of patients in the hospital and provide motivation to the old nurses in providing quality nursing services.
