Abstract

Transformasi digital pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan mendesak di era pembelajaran abad ke-21. Sekolah dituntut untuk mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi secara menyeluruh, salah satunya melalui program Google for Education yang mendukung integrasi platform digital berbasis Google seperti Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Meet, serta layanan Google Workspace lainnya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan SMAN 2 Sipora dalam proses menuju Sekolah Rujukan Google melalui pelatihan Google for Education. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif fenomenologis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 17 partisipan yang meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan murid. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan SMAN 2 Sipora berada pada kategori adaptif menuju progresif. Empat dimensi kesiapan utama teridentifikasi, yaitu: (1) kesiapan infrastruktur digital, (2) kesiapan sumber daya manusia pendidikan, (3) kesiapan kepemimpinan dan manajerial digital, serta (4) kesiapan budaya pembelajaran digital. Pelatihan Google for Education menjadi factor penggerak utama dalam peningkatan literasi digital guru dan pembentukan budaya kolaboratif berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap penguatan teori kesiapan transformasi digital pendidikan serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi sekolah di wilayah kepulauan dalam mengadopsi inovasi teknologi secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan. Readiness of SMAN 2 Sipora to Become a Google Reference School: A Case Study of Google for Education Training  The digital transformation of education has become an essential requirement in the 21st-century learning era. Schools are expected to integrate technology comprehensively, including through the Google for Education program, which facilitates the use of Google Workspace services such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Meet, and others in teaching and learning. This study aims to examine the readiness of SMAN 2 Sipora in progressing toward becoming a Google Reference School through the implementation of Google for Education training. This study employed a descriptive phenomenological qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. A total of 17 participants were involved, consisting of the principal, teachers, educational staff, and students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and verification. The results indicate that SMAN 2 Sipora demonstrates a readiness level categorized as adaptive toward progressive. Four primary dimensions of readiness were identified: (1) digital infrastructure readiness, (2) readiness of educational human resources, (3) digital leadership and managerial readiness, and (4) digital learning culture readiness. The Google for Education training played a significant role in enhancing teachers’ digital literacy and fostering a collaborative, technology-based learning culture. This study contributes to the development of a theory of digital education transformation readiness and offers practical recommendations for schools in archipelagic regions to adopt technological innovations gradually and sustainably.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi kunci bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam meningkatkan daya saing di era digital yang semakin kompetitif, khususnya di wilayah Sumatera Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi UMKM di Nagari Taram melalui pelatihan desain kemasan menggunakan Canva dan pemasaran digital berbasis Shopee. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi asesmen kebutuhan, pelatihan aplikasi Canva untuk desain kemasan, serta pendampingan praktik pemasaran di Shopee. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam menciptakan desain kemasan yang menarik dan melakukan pemasaran secara digital. Dampak utama yang dirasakan antara lain meningkatnya kepercayaan diri pelaku UMKM dalam branding produk, terbukanya akses pasar digital lebih luas, serta peningkatan interaksi dan penjualan melalui Shopee. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini bahwa pelatihan desain kemasan berbasis aplikasi yang mudah (Canva) serta implementasi pemasaran digital melalui marketplace mampu mempercepat proses transformasi digital UMKM perdesaan. Penguatan pendampingan dan akses edukasi lanjutan menjadi rekomendasi untuk sustainabilitas hasil kegiatan.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to analyze the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalized learning in shifting the traditional education model towards student-centered 21st-century learning. The core problem addressed in this study is the failure of traditional education models to accommodate the diverse learning styles, speeds, and needs of students. This failure hinders the crucial development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and students' personalized potential.The methodology employed is a systematic literature review, focusing on the principles and applications of AI in education, specifically on the implementation of adaptive learning systems, predictive diagnostics, and AI-based intelligent content curation.Key findings indicate that AI facilitates deep personalization, which was previously unattainable by human instructors alone. AI systems facilitate profound personalization through three main mechanisms: real-time diagnostics and targeted interventions, automatic curriculum adjustment to ensure competency mastery, and the fostering of student autonomy. The integration of AI effectively optimizes the role of teachers to focus on mentorship, while also fostering students' independence and ownership over their learning process.Thus, AI-based personalized learning is a crucial structural element for achieving modern educational goals, ensuring that every student can maximize their competencies. This study concludes that AI-powered personalized learning is not merely a technological enhancement but an essential structural component required to actualize the goals of modern, student-centered 21st-century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas platform e-learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMK melalui tinjauan pustaka sistematis. Permasalahan utama yang dibahas berkaitan dengan ketidakkonsistenan kualitas implementasi e-learning di lingkungan pendidikan vokasi, yang dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan guru, keragaman platform yang digunakan, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan karakteristik pembelajaran praktis yang khas untuk sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan pustaka sistematis (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA, yang mencakup fase identifikasi, penyaringan, penilaian kelayakan, dan inklusi artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 dan 2024. Dari 15 artikel yang berhasil dianalisis, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa e-learning secara konsisten berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dalam domain kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Berbagai platform seperti Moodle, Schoology, Edmodo, Google Classroom, e-modul, dan e-book telah terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman konseptual, meningkatkan motivasi, menumbuhkan kemandirian, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Beberapa studi melaporkan peningkatan skor pasca-tes yang signifikan, sementara meta-analisis menghasilkan ukuran efek sebesar 0,703, yang menunjukkan efek positif sedang. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran daring tidak hanya bergantung pada teknologi yang digunakan, tetapi juga sangat bergantung pada kualitas desain pembelajaran dan peran instruktur dalam memanfaatkan peluang digital untuk menciptakan pembelajaran profesional yang fleksibel dan bermakna. The Effectiveness of E-Learning Platforms in Improving Vocational High School Students’ Learning Outcomes: A Systematic Literature Review This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of e-learning platforms in improving vocational high school students' learning outcomes through a systematic literature review. The main issues discussed relate to the inconsistency in the quality of e-learning implementation in vocational education environments, which is influenced by teacher readiness, the diversity of platforms used, resource limitations, and the characteristics of practical learning typical of vocational high schools. This research method uses a systematic literature review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach, which includes the phases of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of articles published between 2014 and 2024. Of the 15 articles analyzed, the results show that e-learning consistently improves learning outcomes across the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Various platforms such as Moodle, Schoology, Edmodo, Google Classroom, e-modules, and e-books have been proven effective in strengthening conceptual understanding, increasing motivation, fostering independence, and increasing student engagement in the learning process. Several studies reported significant increases in post-test scores, while a meta-analysis produced an effect size of 0.703, indicating a moderate positive effect. Overall, this study confirms that the success of online learning depends not only on the technology used, but also heavily on the quality of the learning design and the instructor's role in leveraging digital opportunities to create flexible and meaningful professional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the extent to which student learning outcomes improved after the implementation of the Basic Electrical Engineering e-module in vocational learning. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model, involving 32 tenth-grade students of the Electrical Power Installation Engineering expertise program at SMKN 4 Palembang. Data were collected using multiple-choice pretests and posttests that assessed students' conceptual understanding of Basic Electrical Engineering. The e-module was designed with multimedia elements like text, audio, and worksheets to support flexible, independent learning. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning performance, with the average pretest score increasing from 68.9 to 81.1 and an N-Gain value of 0.392, which is included in the moderate category. These findings indicate that the e-module effectively improves student understanding and engagement, while confirming its pedagogical potential in vocational education. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on e-modules for technical-vocational subjects, which can foster conceptual mastery in specific technical materials. This research contributes to the development of literature on technology-based learning and confirms the potential of e-modules as a vocational education innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an interactive e-module based on STEM-Project Based Learning (STEM-PjBL) for the Industrial Control Systems subject at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. This e-module is designed to address the limitations of conventional learning resources and the dominance of less interactive lecture methods, as well as to increase student engagement in learning. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model (Define, Design, and product creation in Develop), this research focuses on needs analysis, content structure design, media selection, and e-module interface design. The main innovation of this e-module lies in the comprehensive integration of STEM concepts through real-world project scenarios relevant to the industry, as well as the use of interactive features from Lectora Desktop and Canva for engaging visualisation. The e-module is packaged in an Android application format (.apk) for offline accessibility. The design results indicate that this e-module has a systematic structure, interactive features, and an attractive interface, thereby holding significant potential to facilitate contextual and applied learning in Industrial Control Systems.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism has become an important approach in managing tourist destinations that prioritize environmental preservation and community welfare. The Maninjau Lake area in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, has significant natural tourism potential but still faces limitations in digital promotion media and tourist understanding of eco-tourism concepts. This study aims to design and develop a Smart Eco-Tourism system based on Virtual Reality as a promotional and educational media for sustainable tourism. This research uses the Prototype method which allows system development to be carried out iteratively and focuses on user needs. The system development process includes requirement analysis, prototype design, implementation, and system testing. The developed system is capable of presenting interactive 3D tourism maps and virtual exploration experiences of Maninjau Lake tourist destinations. Functional and usability testing results indicate that the system works properly and is easy to use by users. The integration of Virtual Reality technology into Smart Eco-Tourism systems provides an interactive digital tourism promotion model while supporting environmental awareness and sustainable tourism education.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) untuk berinovasi melalui e-commerce guna memperluas jangkauan pasar yang sebelumnya terbatas pada area lokal. Toko Bunda menghadapi kendala pada sistem penjualan konvensional, yaitu pelanggan harus datang langsung untuk menanyakan ketersediaan barang, sementara pengolahan data penjualan dan pembuatan laporan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun website e-commerce bagi Toko Bunda menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementasi sistem, dan pengujian. Sistem dibangun menggunakan XAMPP, MySQL, dan phpMyAdmin dengan fitur utama berupa manajemen produk, keranjang belanja, checkout, konfirmasi pembayaran, data customer, dan laporan penjualan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing terhadap 5 modul utama dengan 16 skenario uji, dan seluruh fungsi menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 100% sesuai spesifikasi kebutuhan. Uji coba terbatas pada 10 pengguna menunjukkan bahwa sistem mudah digunakan serta membantu proses pencarian produk dan transaksi secara lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan metode manual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website e-commerce yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data penjualan, mempermudah pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan secara mandiri, serta mendukung perluasan promosi produk melalui media digital. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi alternatif solusi transformasi digital bagi UKM dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan daya saing usaha. The development of information technology encourages small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to innovate through e-commerce to expand their market reach beyond local areas. Toko Bunda faces problems in its conventional sales system, where customers must visit the store directly to check product availability. In contrast, sales data processing and report generation are still carried out manually, resulting in low efficiency. This study aims to design and develop an e-commerce website for Toko Bunda using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The research stages include requirements analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), system implementation, and testing. The system was developed using XAMPP, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin, with main features including product management, shopping cart, checkout, payment confirmation, customer data, and sales reports. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing on 5 main modules with 16 test scenarios, and all functions met system requirements, achieving a 100% success rate. A limited trial involving 10 users indicated that the system is easy to use and helps users search for products and complete transactions faster than the manual method. The results show that the developed e-commerce website can improve the efficiency of sales data management, facilitate independent customer ordering, and support wider product promotion through digital media. Therefore, this system can serve as an alternative digital transformation solution for SMEs to enhance service quality and business competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik untuk mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Elektronika di SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva serta menguji validitas dan praktikalitasnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan sampel seluruh siswa kelas X Teknik Elektronika Industri sebanyak 20 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi produk kepada empat ahli, yaitu dua ahli media dan dua ahli materi, serta angket praktikalitas yang diberikan kepada siswa pengguna media tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung persentase kelayakan berdasarkan skor angket dan rata-rata skor respons siswa menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid dengan persentase nilai validasi ahli media sebesar 95% dan ahli materi sebesar 94,37%, serta praktis dengan persentase nilai praktikalitas sebesar 90,18%. Media ini layak digunakan dan dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi teknik elektronika dasar. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva ini efektif sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang menarik dan mudah digunakan di SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman.

Abstract

This study successfully designed and developed a blockchain-based crowdfunding system using Base, implementing secure authentication through wallet addresses as the primary user identity. The system supports key features such as campaign creation, donation, and fund withdrawal. Campaign creation allows users to set fundraising targets and deadlines, donations are recorded directly on the blockchain to ensure transparency, and fund withdrawals can only be performed by the campaign owner once specific conditions are met. The implementation of smart contracts played a vital role in ensuring that all transactions were transparent, secure, and accountable. Furthermore, the system effectively eliminated the need for intermediaries, as typically seen in conventional platforms, by replacing the role of fund custodians with smart contracts. As a result, it no longer required high administrative fees, instead relying on a fixed and significantly lower gas fee. This approach enhanced public trust, reduced operational costs, and strengthened accountability in the management of donations through a decentralized and tamper-resistant system.
