Abstract

The aims of the research were to develop Arabic learning material model for the senior high school level which was able to become a standard textbook in Arabic learning for high school. It was a realization of the National Language Politics policy that stated, Arabic as a language of religion and culture is taught from elementary school to university level. The research used to research and development (R & D) approach that refers to Borg and Gall theory. There are 10 steps in the development research cycle. However, it was given the small-scale research, which developed materials and media Arabic learning in Jakarta area, this research did at the stage of getting the final product, namely the prototype of Arabic learning material developed. The research was begun through survey research to obtain an empirical sequence of Arabic learning as a basis to support rational empirical strategies in the development design of Arabic learning materials in high school. This research produced Arabic learning textbooks of class X to class XII at the High School level which are equipped with media.

Abstract

This study aims to establish Arabic language proficiency standards through a TOAFL-based competency evaluation model that is recognised both nationally and internationally. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach following the Gall and Borg model. Data analysis ensured validity and reliability through prolonged engagement, persistent observation, and triangulation. The prototype developed in this study measures three key aspects of Arabic proficiency: listening comprehension, structure and written expression, and reading comprehension. Each aspect consists of several sections that assess different linguistic skills through 150 multiple-choice questions. The study also produced a question bank containing structured Arabic test materials designed for standardised assessment. Test scores are processed using a tabulation system that converts correct and incorrect responses into numerical values to generate total scores. The outcome of this research is a prototype of a standardised web-based Arabic language competency test model for Indonesian speakers, which can be used as a valid instrument for assessing Arabic language proficiency at the undergraduate and master’s levels.

Abstract

This research aims to describe representative speech act in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is representative speech act in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. The data source of this research is the speeches of the characters in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. Data collection techniques used in this study are library techniques, namely reading, listening, recording, and analyzing. Based on the results of the study, there were a number of representative speech acts from three drama texts in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir” Based on the results of the study, showed that the representative speech act stating there are 78 data, most widely used in the antology of drama script “Sarapan Terakhir”. Second, followed by a representative speech act sugesting there are 75 data. Third, representative speech acts reported 51 data. Fourth, representative speech acts complaining that there are 50 data, Fifth, representative speech acts claim 46 data. Sixth, representative speech acts boasting there are 9 data.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah alat komunikasi yang paling penting dalam berinteraksi dengan siapapun di dunia ini, Bahasa tidak mungkin terpisahkan dari kehidupan manusia, karena manusialah yang menggunakan bahasa itu sendiri untuk berinteraksi. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan Bahasa didalam kegiatan Pembelajaran. Kegiatan Pembelajaran adalah suatu aktifitas yang kompleks, karena melibatkan banyak komponen, ibarat suatu aktifitas produksi/barang, bahan merupakan komponen yang akan diubah menjadi barang/produksi. Dalam menjalankan proses pembelajaran, diperlukan adanya bahan ajar yang merupakan komponen penting dalam sebuah proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian research and development (R & D). Hasil analisis dari angket yang di distribusikan kepada mahasiswa melalui Google Form tentang analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Negeri Jakarta dapat di identifikasi bahwa mahasiswa sangat setuju dan mendukung adanya pembuatan dan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis digital pada mata kuliah menulis Bahasa arab Tingkat pemula. Temuan dalam artikel ini secara praktis dapat ditindaklanjuti oleh penulis dan pihak Program Studi dalam mengembangkan Bahan Ajar Menulis Bahasa Arab Tingkat pemula sehingga pembelajaran menjadi bermakna, menyenangkan, dan berkelanjutan.AbstractLanguage is the most important communication tool in interacting with anyone in this world. Language cannot be separated from human life, because humans are the ones who use language themselves to interact. One of them is the use of language in learning activities. Learning activities are complex activities because they involve many components, such as a production activity/goods, materials are components that will be converted into goods/production. A teacher must have many abilities in teaching with various kinds of teaching materials. Teaching materials are very important in the learning process, especially in Arabic. Therefore, the teaching and learning process requires motivational encouragement to increase students' linguistic competence. In carrying out the learning process, teaching materials are needed which are an important component in a teaching and learning process. This research is a type of research and development (R & D) research. R & D is research that is deliberate, systematic, aimed, or directed at finding, formulating, improving, developing, producing, and testing the effectiveness of certain products, models, strategies, services, and procedures that are superior, new, effective, efficient, productive and meaningful. Based on research conducted by the author, in line with the research objective, namely to analyze the need for digital-based teaching materials. The results of the questionnaire analysis of student needs for the Arabic Language Education Study Program at Jakarta State University can be identified that students strongly agree and support the creation and development of digital-based teaching materials in beginner-level Arabic writing courses. . namely to analyze the need for digital-based teaching materials. The results of the questionnaire analysis of student needs for the Arabic Language Education Study Program at Jakarta State University can be identified that students strongly agree and support the creation and development of digital-based teaching materials in beginner-level Arabic writing courses. The findings in this article can be practically followed up by the author and the Study Program in developing beginner-level Arabic Writing Teaching Materials so that learning becomes meaningful, fun, and sustainable.
