Abstract

Teachers’ job satisfaction is the teacher's perception of what he has obtained, through the indicators compiled. In this study the indicators used are the fields of promotion, salary and incentives, promotions, coworkers as well as supervisory and leadership evaluation. The purpose of this research is to look at the level of satisfaction of teachers who teach in public  primary schools on Pulau Rimau. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative (mixed method). The number of objects in this study were five public  primary schools. The results obtained from the research that has been done are stated that the level of satisfaction of teachers who teach in public  primary schools in the Pulau Rimau region is included in the quite high category, but in the field of salary and incentives is an area with the highest average value of job satisfaction low.

Abstract

Capacity building is part of improving the quality of performance. This research aimed at determining the effect of capacity building and leadership of school principals on teachers’ performance in Primary School of Pulau Rimau. The population and sample in this study were teachers who taught at Primary School of Pulau Rimau, sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques. The results obtained there is positive and significant effect of capacity building on the performance of teachers; there is positive and significant influence of school leadership on the performance of teachers; and there is positive and significant influence of capacity building and leadership of school principals on the performance of teachers.

Abstract

This study was to determine whether there was an influence of school-based management (SBM) and work motivation on the teacher’s performance of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau. The method used was descriptive quantitative. The population used was 19 public elementary schools in Pulau Rimau and the sample was 3 schools. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that there is significant influence between school-based management (SBM) and work motivation together on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the efforts to develop elementary school teacher’s professionalism in remote areas and the factors that become obstacles faced by teachers to improve the quality of elementary school education. This research was carried out in and SD Negeri 16 and 31 Pulau Rimau. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using documentation, interviews, observation and literature review. Data were analysed using data collection, data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results stated that the development of professionalism of remote regional teachers in Banyuasin was 1) facilitating permission for elementary school teachers to continue their studies; 2) emphasizing school principals and teachers who have more ability to share abilities with peers; 3) reviewing each teacher after completing various training activities; 4) improve school facilities and infrastructure; 6) providing assistance to teachers who are implementing education; and 7) increasing the competency of school supervisors.

Abstract

Pelatihan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah di lingkungan SMA Negeri 1 Pemulutan Barat, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan materi yang akan disampaikan; metode tanya jawab digunakan untuk menggali pemahaman guru terhadap materi yang akan diberikan; workshop digunakan untuk melatih dan membimbing guru dalam pembuatan karya tulis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas, para guru dapat membuat proposal dan melanjutkannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan artikel ilmiah. Selain itu, diharapkan melalui pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas ini mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan film western dengan subtitle bahasa Inggris terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA PGRI Gelumbang dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sampel sebanyak 70 siswa, tepatnya 35 siswa XI IPA yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan film dengan teks film bahasa Inggris, dan 35 siswa kelas XI IPS yang diajar dengan teks bahasa Indonesia. -Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa melalui film dengan teks bahasa Inggris, nilai rata-rata 85.5, median 87.5 dan mode 89.5. Sedangkan siswa yang menggunakan film subtitle Indonesia memiliki nilai rata-rata 74.6, median 72 dan mode 77.8. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 3,123> ttabel = 1,667, sehingga disimpulkan ada pengaruh penguasaan kosakata siswa setelah penerapan Film Bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA PGRI Gelumbang. Kata kunci: film barat, penguasaan kosakata Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of using western films with English subtitles on students' vocabulary mastery. This research was conducted at SMA PGRI Gelumbang using experimental methods. This research was conducted on a sample of 70 students, to be precise 35 XI IPA students who were given treatment using films with English subtitles, and 35 students of class XI IPS who were taught with Indonesian subtitles. Average student learning outcomes through films with English subtitles, mean value 85.5, median 87.5 and mode 89.5. Meanwhile, students who used Indonesian subtitled films had a mean score of 74.6, median 72 and mode 77.8. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained tcount = 3.123> ttable = 1.667, so it was concluded that there was an effect on students' vocabulary mastery after the application of English Language Films in class XI IPA SMA PGRI Gelumbang. Keywords: western film, vocabulary mastery

Abstract

This article discusses the role of youth in preventing the idea of radicalism in Indonesia. The data in this article were collected through references such as books, journals, newspapers, and the internet. This study found that radicalism is a common phenomenon that can occur in a society with various motives; social, political, cultural and religious that were characterized by violent, extreme and anarchic actions as a form of rejection the symptoms. Youth as the next generation is the main target of radical adherents. This is possible because youth are easily instigated with the wrong view and mind associated with radicalism. Therefore, with its diverse roles, youth can prevent this radicalism in various ways. First through the increase of education knowledge and understanding the religion. Second, read a lot of references. Third, always want to improve themselves, and the last set the goal of life.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan profesionalisme guru dalam upaya perbaikan mutu pembelajaran. Penilitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri I Belitang Madang Raya. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Maret 2021 sampai dengan April 2022. Hasil dari penelitian Kepala sekolah mendorong serta mengarahkan guru untuk menjadi guru professional dengan cara meningkatkan peguasaan IT serta dengan menugaskan guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan, dan seminar, kemudian mengajak guru, menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien serta mengevaluasi hasil dari proses pembelajaran. Guru didorong untuk terus menemukan ide-ide dan cara untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran agar para peserta didik mampu menyerap materi dengan baik. Profesionalisme guru merupakan salah satu parameter keberhasilan pembelajaran yang berujung pada peningkatan mutu dan keberhasilan pembelajaran, kepala sekolah yang memegang peranan penting terhadap baik buruknya sekolah yang ia pimpin,kepala sekolah merupakan pemimpin pendidikan yang sangat penting karena kepala sekolah berhubungan langsung dengan pelaksanaan program pendidikan disekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 4 Prabumulih Barat Kota Prabumulih. Jenis Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui pengamatan, wawancara dan telaah dokumen yang diperlukan dalam kegiataan penelitian. dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) strategi pemberdayaan sumber daya sekolah  yang dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan sumber daya manusia terutama guru dan siswa, peningkatan  sarana prasarana sekolah dalam menunjang kemajuan sekolah dan peningkatan mutu sekolah, dan 2) cara alternatif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan guru dengan pendidikan S1, menambah jam mengajar bagi guru yang kurang jam mengajar, menambah sarana prasarana sekolah yang dibutuhkan dengan mengunakan dana BOS maupun dana DAK dan meningkatkan pembangunan pendidikan didaerah pinggiran Kota.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan Pendidikan karakter pada ekstrakurikuler duta pendidikan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu lembar wawancara, lembar observasi dan studi dokumen. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan cara reduksi, verifikasi dan menyimpulkan. Hasil temuan mengungkapkan ekstrakurikuler Bujang Gadis Dallas adalah wadah bagi siswa SMA Negeri 18 Palembang untuk melatih dan menanamkan pendidikan yang karakter. Karakter yang diperoleh dengan mengikuti ekstrakurikuler ini antara lain tanggung jawab, disiplin, saling menghargai, cinta tanah air, kreatif dan mandiri. Faktor penghambat pendidikan karakter terjadi karena adanya pengaruh dari lingkungan baik dari keluarga maupun lingkungan siswa dan teknologi di era abad 4.0.
