Abstract

This study aims to find out how from the active actors of Pre-employment training jockeys and how the perpetrators decided to become an active actor in pre-employment training jockey activities in Tanjungpinang. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in study used semi-structured interviews, observations online and offline. The sampling technique used is snowball sampling with 8 informants as jockey service providers, 2 informants as jockey service recipients, and 1 informant as Head of the Placement and Training of Manpower, Department of Manpower, Cooperatives, SMes, Tanjungpinang. Based on the findings the researcher, researcher found that there were jockeys in the Pre-employment training program in Tanjungpinang, especially in 2020 to 2021. The findings of this the study illustrates that most of the informants are interested in Pre-employment program incentives as a survival strategy during pandemic covid-19, some informants decided to become part of jockeys for non-material interests, including achieving good relations with neighbors, and the sense of satisfaction felt when one of the family members passed to participate in the Pre-employment Program.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 23 tahun 2004 tentang perlindungan Anak. Dalam pasal 81 dan 82 Undang-Undang Tentang Perlindungan Anak ini diatur bahwa pelaku pelecehan seksual terhadap anak dipidana maksimal 15 tahun. Anak salah satu yang kerap menjadi korban dari pelecehan seksual. Penulis kali ini membahas kasus pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di di kampung sei serai, kecamatan Bukit Bestari Kota Tanjungpinang pada 2 mei 2022, peristiwa pelecehan tersebut bermula pada pemilik warung dikampung sei serai di kecamatan Bukit Bestari, yakni berinisal Na. Digambarkan ia menunjukkan alat vital nya kepada si korban, selain itu pelaku juga meraba-raba si korban. Tak berhenti sampai di situ korban juga di ajak untuk menonton video porno. Kebisaan pelaku yang sering menonton video porno kemungkinan sangat besar meningkatkan hormon seksualnya. Total Data pada tahun 2022 menunjukkan terdapat 243 kasus, dengan angka tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya 174 kasus. Selain itu dengan meningkatnya angka pelecehan seksual di Kota Tanjungpinang salah satu faktor yang melatarbelakangi yaitu rendahnya kontrol sosial. Menurut Travis Hirci ada empat unsur kontrol sosial yaitu attachment, commitmen, involvement dan believe yang tujuannya adalah untuk mengatur individu atau pelaku agar tidak melakukan perilaku penyimpangan seperti pelecehan seksual terhadap anak. Rendahnya kontrol sosial yang berasal dari keluarga, dikarenakan orangtua yang sibuk bekerja mengakibatkan anak menjadi kurang mendapat perhatian sehingga anak mencari kebahagiaannya di lingkungan pertemanan, dikarenakan mereka merasakan teman itu yang selalu ada disaat dia merasa kesepian. Pada penlisan jurnal ini penulis mengunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Studi kepustakaan adalah studi dengan cara mengumpulkan jurnal dan buku yang dianggap relevan untuk bahan kajian penulis.

Abstract

The patrilineal kinship system of the Toba Batak community, the positions of boys and girls have different responsibilities and positions. Likewise in terms of the distribution of inherited land, the position of women is very weak. This is what ultimately causes conflict. This study aims to find out and understand the resolution of inherited land conflicts in members of the sapopparan family in Pakkat District. This study used qualitative research methods. This study uses the theory of conflict by George Simmel which focuses on the forms of conflict and conflict resolution that occur in every family involved in a family inheritance land conflict. Based on the findings, the researchers found that there were four cases of family inheritance land conflicts in Karya Village, Pakkat District. The findings of this study illustrate that family members who are in conflict are involved in personal conflicts. In the conclusion of the results of this study, there are two conflict resolutions that occur in every family involved in the conflict. The settlement that is pursued by each family is through conflict resolution and conflict reconciliation.

Abstract

As tourism progresses in Indonesia, it is still inseparable from illegal levies, one of which is the tourism of the Sidamanik tea garden, initially used as a tourist object to fulfill the people's economy, it has turned into tourism which has problems, namely extortion by teenagers. Weak supervision from parents is one of the causes of deviant behavior supported by the lack of attention from educational institutions and guidance from police agencies in the Siamanik tourism environment. This research uses descriptive qualitative which conducts research by determining informants based on purposive sampling proposed by Creswell. The results of this study are bringing Sidamanik tourism which is an image of the area, where there is extortion behavior carried out by organizations formed by teenagers starting from the free sex behavior of visiting tourists strengthened by weak social control from parents, educational institutions, educational institutions police.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of the family in children's sex education in Sagulung, Batam city. research using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with 8 informants who were divided according to the criteria, namely 4 informants as parents who rejected the idea that sex education for children was taboo. 1 informant as a parent who lacks awareness and their child's need for sex education, 7 informants as a parent who agree with child sex education. Based on the findings of researchers, some parents still consider sex education to be taboo and the sex education that is implemented in families in Sagulung District uses basic understanding to children, by providing understanding and differences in female and male genitalia. In this finding, the researchers found that parents were hampered by providing sex education to their children, that parents felt ashamed or taboo about expressing and discussing sex issues with their children.

Abstract

Land conflicts are often encountered in both urban and rural areas, accompanied by their diversity. For example, conflicts between the community and developers from a private company with the initials PT NSA, as well as local governments who participate in supporting the road function conversion that occurred in Sungai Langkai Sub-district, RT002/RW007, Batam City. The land problem resulted in changes in road access function that did not comply with the site plan in that area. This conversion led the community to take various rejection actions to maintain the function of the roadside in accordance with the established land rules for the comfort of their living environment. This study aims to determine the demands made by the community to maintain the function of the roadside. The data collection techniques used in this study were structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study uses Lewis Alfred Coser's theory which views conflicts not only as negative but also positive. The findings of this study describe negative impacts. In addition, conflicts also have positive impacts on community groups in carrying out their demands, such as building stronger solidarity by holding meetings to determine the strategies to be taken and the spirit of the residents to help each other, whether in the form of money, time, or transportation.

Abstract

Instagram is one of the most popular social media among young people today. The use of Instagram is usually a means to show self-existence and social life. However, the phenomenon of using empty Instagram feeds among users, especially among students, provides new meaning and views in the use of Instagram social media. The purpose of this study is to explain the meaning of the phenomenon of using empty Instagram feeds among students in Tanjungpinang city. The method used in this study uses a descriptive-qualitative method which examines the meaning of using empty Instagram feeds among students in Tanjungpinang city using a purposive sampling technique with 5 informants, namely students who use empty Instagram feeds. The theoretical basis used is Herbert Blummer's theory of symbolic interactionism. Based on the results of the study, the researcher.. Found that the symbol of emptiness in an empty Instagram feed was not only considered a trend by its users but as a result of a reflection of the meaning and expression of the self-doubt of several informants who had bad experiences as victims of bullying or skimming, as a form of restriction. the flow of globalization that creates life without privacy, as well as a new way to create an image in the formation of self-identity.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the Covid-19 virus entered and spread rapidly since early March 2020, causing many deaths in various countries. The government has made various efforts to prevent the virus from spreading widely. However, since the outbreak of the pandemic, the tourism sector has been greatly affected by the negative impacts of Covid-19. Although tourism is a sector that provides employment opportunities and helps reduce the unemployment rate, workers in this sector have been severely impacted with the loss of income to support their daily needs. Thus, this study aims to investigate the social changes that have occurred due to Covid-19 on the lives of former Lagoi Bay workers in Kota Baru Village, Teluk Sebong District, by utilizing Piotr Sztompka's theory of social change. The results indicate that the pandemic has had a significant impact on Lagoi Bay tourism workers, leading to various social changes in their daily lives.
