Makin Group with Jatiwaringin oil palm farmers provides welfare and benefits for both parties, with a direct influence on the character of stakeholders and the role of stakeholders with p-value ≤ sig 0.05 directly influencing KUD performance. KUD performance and the role of stakeholders p-value ≤ sig 0.05 have a direct influence on farmer welfare. The indirect influence of stakeholder character, stakeholder role, and KUD performance has a p-value smaller than the sig level of 0.05 which has an indirect effect on farmer welfare. The plasma core partnership model in Jatiwaringin Village applies a partnership model managed by the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD).

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are economic pillars that often face marketing challenges. One of them is the Al-Karim purple sweet potato onde-onde business, which experiences obstacles in implementing an effective marketing mix. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the marketing mix and formulate an appropriate development strategy for the Al-Karim business. The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing IFE-EFE Matrix analysis, IE Matrix, SWOT, and QSPM. The results showed that the IE Matrix analysis placed the Al-Karim business in cell V (Hold and Maintain strategy) with an IFE score of 2.250 and an EFE score of 2.382. Based on this position, the SWOT Matrix produced eight alternative strategies. Furthermore, the QSPM analysis determined three priority strategies, namely: (1) improving and maintaining product quality (TAS value 4.50); (2) intensifying promotions by utilizing technology (TAS value 4.38); and (3) expanding the marketing distribution area (TAS value 4.36).

Abstract

Pakcoy mustard (Brasica rapa L.) has a relatively high economic value in terms of low farming costs, so it has the potential to continue to be developed because the community widely consumes it both in fresh and processed form. The development of the population and industrial users of pakcoy mustard as a raw material causes this commodity's demand to continue to increase. This study aimed to analyze the production efficiency of pakcoy mustard  in the village of Sumberejo. This village is one of the pakcoy mustard production centers in Batu City. The data was collected through interviews with 45 pakcoy farmers selected from 350 pakcoy farmers in the research location. The data that has been collected were analyzed with the Cobb-Douglas production function, then the allocative efficiency was calculated. The results showed that the use of seeds, TSP, and NPK fertilizers in pakcoy mustard production in the village of Sumberejo, Batu City was not allocatively efficient.

Abstract

Chili cultivation in dryland areas faces significant challenges, including limited water availability, low soil fertility, and the risk of land degradation. Under such conditions, the efficient use of inputs becomes a critical factor in enhancing both productivity and the sustainability of farming practices. This study aims to examine the influence of production factors on chili yield and to assess the levels of technical, allocative, and economic efficiency among chili farmers in Kelompok Tani Hutan Panderman. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method was employed. Primary data were gathered through questionnaires administered to 32 farmers selected via a census method and analyzed using multiple linear regression within a Cobb-Douglas production function framework. The results indicate that land area, labor, and farming experience have a significant positive impact on production, whereas excessive use of urea fertilizer and pesticides exerts a negative effect. While technical efficiency was largely achieved, allocative and economic efficiencies remain suboptimal. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing input allocation, adopting water-saving technologies, and implementing balanced fertilization strategies. The study’s implications point toward strengthening agricultural extension services, promoting appropriate technology adoption, and enhancing farmers’ managerial capacities to achieve sustainable productivity and efficiency.
