Abstract

A gampong, generally known as a village, is a legal community unit with territorial boundaries and is led by a keuchik or other name who has the right to carry out their household affairs. In its implementation, there are obstacles felt by the village government while working, such as the condition of the work environment that results in low quality of work life. In contrast, the quality of work life must be conditioned by the organization so that the welfare and productivity of employees go well, one way to improve the quality of work life is to apply job characteristics model. Job characteristics are job attributes that have a motivational function for employees. Therefore, research is needed to determine the relationship between job characteristics and the quality of work life of the village government. This study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling data collection techniques. The research sample comprised 297 village governments in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. Data was collected using the Job Diagnostic Survey scale and the quality of work-life scale. The results of this study explained that the hypothesis is accepted where the significance value is p = 0.000, which meant that there was a relationship between job characteristics and the quality of working life of the village government. That is, the higher the job characteristics, the higher the quality of work life of the village governments. This study found that the job characteristics and quality of work life were in the medium category. The results also found that the quality of work life in the Banda Aceh village government was higher than that of the Aceh Besar village government. This is due to clear working hours and higher salaries, in addition to weekly supervision from the sub-district on the performance of the Banda Aceh village government.

Abstract

Individu yang bekerja sebagai tenaga kesehatan menghadapi banyak tuntutan pekerjaan yang tinggi sehingga memberikan dampak pada kehidupan pribadi, seperti keluarga. Salah satu dampak yang dihasilkan yaitu adanya konflik peran ganda karena ketidakseimbangan dalam memenuhi tuntutan tugas pekerjaan (profesional) dan juga dalam kehidupan berumah tangga. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat gambaran konflik peran ganda pada tenaga kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Langsa yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik deskriptif. Sebanyak 160 tenaga kesehatan RSUD Langsa terlibat sebagai sampel penelitian yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik insidental sampling dengan kriteria menikah, memiliki anak, dan bekerja dengan sistem shift. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan alat ukur yang telah diterjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia melalui proses expert review sehingga instrumen penelitian tervalidasi dan reliabel. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan berdasarkan profesinya, diketahui bahwa perawat lebih dominan memiliki konflik dibandingkan profesi tenaga kesehatan lainnya, yaitu dominan mengalami konflik FWC yang berbasis waktu dilihat dari rentang usia, maka tenaga kesehatan dengan rentang usia 26-35 tahun dominan mengalami konflik WFC, usia 36-45 tahun dominan mengalami konflik FWC. Selanjutnya berdasarkan jumlah anak yang dimiliki di dapatkan hasil bahwa tenaga kesehatan dengan jumlah anak 3 dominan mengalami WFC, sedangkan tenaga kesehatan dengan jumlah anak 4 dominan mengalami FWC Individuals who work as health workers deal with many high work demands that impact their personal lives, such as family. One of the resulting impacts is a work-family conflict due to an imbalance in fulfilling the work (professional) duties and also in home life.The research aims to describe work-family conflict to the health workers at the Langsa General Hospital, which was carried out using a quantitative approach with descriptive techniques. All 160 Langsa General Hospital health workers involved as research samples were selected using a non-probability sampling method with an incidental sampling technique with the criteria married, having a child, and working on a shift system. The research data collection used the work-family conflict scale translated into Indonesian through an expert review process so that the research instrument was validated and reliable. The research result according to profession, it is known that nurses were more dominant in conflict than other health worker professions, namely in experiencing time-based FWC conflict from the age range, health workers with an age range of 26-35 years predominantly experience WFC conflict, age 36-45 years predominantly experience FWC conflict. Furthermore, based on the number of children owned, the results show that health workers with three children predominantly experience WFC, while health workers with four children predominantly experience FWC

Abstract

The Korean Wave as a global popular culture phenomenon has significantly shaped consumer behavior, including the tendency of celebrity worship that may lead to impulsive buying. While developmental theory suggests that idol worship decreases in early adulthood, studies in Indonesia indicate that this behavior remains prevalent among Korean Wave fans. This study uses a quantitative research design with a correlation method. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique with a total sample size of 193 early adults (18-25 years old) Korean Wave fans. Data collection was carried out using the Impulsive Buying Tandency Scale (IBTS) and Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS). The hypothesis of this study was tested using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, showing the results that there is a relationship between the dimensions of celebrity worship (entertainment social, intense personal, and borderline pathological) with impulsive buying with a significance value (p) = 0.000. The higher the celebrity worship dimensions (entertainment social, intense personal, and borderline pathological) in early adult Korean Wave fans, the higher the impulsive buying they have. Conversely, the lower the celebrity worship dimensions (entertainment social, intense personal, and borderline pathological) in early adult Korean Wave fans, the lower the impulsive buying they have.Abstrak: Fenomena Korean Wave sebagai budaya populer global telah memengaruhi perilaku konsumsi masyarakat, termasuk kecenderungan celebrity worship yang berhubungan dengan pembelian impulsif. Meskipun teori perkembangan menjelaskan bahwa intensitas pemujaan idola menurun pada masa dewasa awal, penelitian di Indonesia menunjukkan masih tingginya perilaku tersebut pada penggemar Korean Wave. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 193 dewasa awal (18-25 tahun) penggemar Korean Wave. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala Impulsive Buying Tandency Scale (IBTS) dan Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS). Hipotesis penelitian ini diuji menggunakan Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, dengan menunjukkan hasil terdapat hubungan antara dimensi celebrity worship (entertainment social, intense personal, dan borderline pathological) dengan impulsive buying dengan nilai signifikansi (p) = 0,000. Semakin tinggi dimensi celebrity worship (entertainment social, intense personal, dan borderline pathological) pada dewasa awal penggemar Korean Wave, semakin tinggi pula impulsive buying yang mereka miliki. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah dimensi celebrity worship (entertainment social, intense personal, dan borderline pathological) pada dewasa awal penggemar Korean Wave, semakin rendah pula impulsive buying yang dimiliki.

Abstract

The use of TikTok has become a routine for college students in this digital era. Prolonged and irregular use of social media platforms has the potential to pose various challenges and result in social media addiction problems. Not only that, social media provides many opportunities and easy access to engage in social comparison and lead to the consequences of social media addiction. This study aims to determine the relationship between social comparison orientation and social media addiction in student TikTok users. The sampling technique used incidental sampling technique. The sample of this study amounted to 352 (75 men and 277 women) students of Syiah Kuala University. SCO in this study was measured using the Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM) consisting of 11 items. Meanwhile, the measuring instrument for social media addiction using the Social Media Addiction-Student Form consists of 29 items. The results of statistical analysis of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between social comparison orientation and social media addiction (r = 0.484; p 0.001). These results indicate that the higher the social comparison made, the higher the social media addiction in TikTok users and vice versa. This study emphasizes the role of social comparison in social media addiction where individuals who engage in social comparison tend to develop addictive behavior towards social media and shows that the content consumed can significantly influence it. Penggunaan TikTok telah menjadi sebuah rutinitas mahasiswa di era digital ini. Penggunaan platform media sosial yang berkepanjangan dan tidak teratur berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai tantangan dan mengakibatkan masalah kecanduan media sosial. Tidak hanya itu media sosial memberikan banyak peluang dan akses mudah untuk terlibat dalam perbandingan sosial dan menimbulkan konsekuensi kecanduan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social comparison orientation dengan social media addiction pada mahasiswa pengguna TikTok. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 352 (75 laki-laki dan 277 perempuan) mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala. Mahasiswa pengguna TikTok di Universitas Syiah Kuala menggunakan TikTok sebagai sarana untuk menghilangkan stres akibat tugas yang banyak dan jadwal padat. Aktivitas seperti scrolling TikTok menjadi salah satu cara untuk mencari hiburan dan mengurangi kejenuhan. Social comparison orientation (SCO) pada penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM) terdiri dari 11 aitem. Sementara itu alat ukur social media addiction menggunakan Social Media Addiction-Student Form terdiri dari 29 aitem. Hasil analisis statistik penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antarasocial comparison orientationdansocial media addiction(r = 0,484; p 0,001). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi perbandingan sosial yang dilakukan, maka semakin tinggi pula kecanduan media sosial pada mahasiswa pengguna TikTok begitu pula sebaliknya. Penelitian ini menekankan peran perbandingan sosial dalam kecanduan media sosial dimana individu yang terlibat dalam perbandingan sosial cenderung mengembangkan perilaku adiktif terhadap media sosial serta menunjukkan bahwa konten yang dikonsumsi dapat mempengaruhi secara signifikan.

Abstract

Cyberloafing merupakan segala bentuk perilaku karyawan yang menggunakan akses internet instansi untuk tujuan pribadi saat jam kantor. Terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi hadirnya cyberloafing. Kesepian adalah salah satu faktor internal individu yang dapat menyebabkan munculnya perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesepian dengan cyberloafing pada tenaga perpustakaan di Universitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode nonprobability sampling melalui teknik Purposive Sampling dengan total keseluruhan sampel adalah 113 tenaga perpustakaan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur skala Cyberloafing untuk mengukur perilaku cyberloafing dan Loneliness at Work Scale untuk mengukur kesepian. Data pada penelitian ini tidak terdistribusi secara normal sehingga analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi Spearman Brown Formula dengan nilai (r=0,420 dan p=0,000) yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara kesepian dengan cyberloafing pada tenaga perpustakaan di Universitas. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi kesepian maka semakin cenderung pula cyberloafing pada tenaga perpustakaan di Universitas.Cyberloafing is any behavior of employees who use their company's internet access for personal purposes during work time. There are many factors that influence the presence of cyberloafing. Loneliness is one of the individual internal factors that can cause the emergence of cyberloafing. This study aimed to determine the relationship between loneliness and cyberloafing among library staff at the University. This research uses a quantitative approach with a nonprobability sampling method through a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 113 library personnel. Data collection in this study uses a Cyberloafing scale to measure cyberloafing behavior and a Loneliness at Work Scale to measure loneliness. The data in this study were not normally distributed so the data analysis used Spearman-Brown Formula correlation analysis with values (r = 0.420 and p = 0,000) which showed a positive relationship between loneliness and cyberloafing on library staff in the University. This means that the higher the loneliness, the more likely cyberloafing on library staff at the University.

Abstract

Kesetaraan gender merupakan hal yang paling penting untuk mencegah diskriminasi yang terjadi di masyarakat. Terdapat beberapa cara untuk mencapai kesetaraan gender, salah satunya dengan memberikan kesempatan pada perempuan untuk mempengaruhi kebijakan politik seperti berpartisipasi dalam politik dengan menjadi calon legislatif. Persentase perempuan yang rendah di lembaga legislatif, khususnya legislatif di Aceh menunjukkan bahwa perempuan masih belum berpartisipasi aktif. faktor penyebab minimnya persentase perempuan adalah motivasi yang rendah. Motivasi merupakan pendorong tingkahlaku individu sesuai arah tujuan. Ada tiga jenis need yang mempengaruhi tingkah laku individu yaitu need for power, need for affiliation dan need for achievement.Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi calon legislatif perempuan ditinjau dari partai nasional dan partai lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 69 calon legislatif, yang terdiri dari 35 caleg partai lokal dan 34 caleg partai nasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala motivasi yang terdiri dari 24 pernyataan. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji statistik independent samples t-test menunjukkan nilai P=0,023 (0,023 < 0,05). Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan motivasi pada caleg perempuan partai nasional dengan caleg perempuan partai lokal.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membuat banyak hal menjadi lebih mudah termasuk dalam hal jual-beli yang mulai beralih secara online. Kemudahan ini sering kali membuat individu menjadi impulsif dalam membelanjakan uangnya. Namun, ada salah satu faktor yang dapat menahan individu untuk tidak menjadi impulsif, yaitu religiusitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek pada penelitian sebanyak 345 perempuan yang bekerja atau memiliki penghasilan di Banda Aceh. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Muslim Daily Religiosity Assesment Scale (MUDRAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Olufadi (2016) dan Impulsive Buying Tendency yang dikembangkan oleh Verplanken Herabadi (2001). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diterimanya hipotesis pada penelitian ini, karena terdapat hubungan yang negatif dengan nilai korelasi (r)=-0,133 dan signifikan dengan nilai (p)=0,014 antara religiusitas dengan perilaku impulsif dalam belanja online, artinya adalah semakin tinggi tingkat religiusitas individu maka akan semakin rendah pembelian impulsifnya, begitu pula sebaliknya.

Abstract

Generation Z exhibits a higher tendency to frequently change jobs compared to previous generations, with one of the suspected contributing factors being the psychosocial work environment. This study aims to examine the relationship between the psychosocial work environment and turnover intention among Generation Z workers. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample was collected using accidental sampling in Banda Aceh. A total of 315 respondents participated in the study by completing the Turnover Intention Scale (TIS-6) and the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire III (COPSOQ III). Pearson product-moment correlation analysis revealed a strong and significant negative correlation between the psychosocial work environment and turnover intention, with a significance level of (p)=0.000 (p0.05) and a correlation coefficient of (r)=-0.733. These results indicate that the better the quality of the psychosocial work environment experienced by Generation Z workers, the lower their turnover intention. This implies that organizations should invest in supportive psychosocial work environments to enhance Generation Z employee retentiscon and reduce turnover cost.Generasi Z menunjukkan kecenderungan tinggi untuk sering berpindah pekerjaan dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya, dan salah satu faktor yang diduga berkontribusi adalah kondisi lingkungan kerja psikososial. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan kerja psikososial dengan turnover intention pada pekerja Generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan accidental sampling di Kota Banda Aceh. Sebanyak 315 responden berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini dengan mengisi Instrumen Turnover Intention Scale (TIS-6) dan Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire III(COPSOQ III). Analisis menggunakan pearson-product moment menunjukkan adanya tingkat korelasi yang kuat dan signifikan dengan arah hubungan yang negatif antara lingkungan kerja psikososial dengan turnover intention, dengan taraf signifikansi (p)=0,000 (p0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r)=-0,733. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin baik kualitas lingkungan kerja psikososial yang dirasakan pekerja generasi Z, maka semakin rendah turnover intention yang dialami. Implikasinya, perusahaan perlu berinvestasi pada lingkungan kerja psikososial untuk meningkatkan retensi pekerja Generasi Z dan mengurangi biaya turnover.

Abstract

Knowledge management (KM) is increasingly important for Indonesian universities, which face rapid technological change and heightened demands for transparency, quality, and competitiveness. This study developed and validated a measurement instrument to identify key barriers and enablers of KM implementation in Indonesian higher education. A 22-item scale was developed for the local context and organized into six aspects: trust in individuals, trust in management, reward system, organizational process, IT, and technical support. The scale was produced in two versions: one for lecturers/education staff and one for students. Content validity was evaluated using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and the Content Validity Index (CVI) with expert panels (eight raters), followed by a pilot administration to 60 respondents (30 lecturers/staff and 30 students). The scale demonstrated strong content validity (mean I-CVI 0.87–0.91), acceptable item discrimination (lecturer/staff: 0.471–0.834; student: 0.250–0.785), and high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha: 0.952 for lecturer/staff; 0.923 for students). These results indicate that the instrument is robust for diagnosing KM enablers and barriers in Indonesian universities and can support targeted policies and interventions. Future studies should expand validation across diverse institutions nationwide.

Abstract

Career maturity is one of the developmental tasks that students must fulfill as early adults or late adolescents. Good career maturity will affect the selection of a student career life in the future. One of the factors that influence student career maturity is parent career behavior. Parent career behavior is a parent's behavior or parenting style related to a child's career. This research uses quantitative research methods with a correlation approach. The purpose of this study was to see a relationship between parent career behavior and career maturity in Syiah Kuala University students. Sampling using a nonprobability sampling technique of quota sampling type with a total of 332 research respondents. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between parent career behavior and career maturity in Syiah Kuala University students. The hypothesis test was carried out using the Spearman Correlation technique and obtained a significance value (p)=0.000 (p<0.05) and a correlation coefficient value (r)=0.428. In addition, the results of the study also showed that most respondents were in the category of career maturity and moderate parent career behavior.
