Abstract

This study aims to analyze problem-solving skills in multiplication story problems from the perspective of learning styles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with three fourth-grade students who have visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles as subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires, story problems tests, and interviews, and analyzed based on four indicators of Polya's theory: understanding the problem, planning a solution, implementing the plan, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that visual learners were able to meet all indicators, auditory learners only completed two stages, and kinesthetic learners only one stage. These differences indicate that learning styles influence students' problem-solving skills. This is important because, to date, classroom teaching approaches often do not consider individual learning styles, leading many students to struggle with story problems. Therefore, teachers need to adapt teaching methods and media to students' learning style characteristics and help them identify the most suitable learning approach to enhance the effectiveness of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Program kampus mengajar merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan kurikulum MBKM yang disediakan oleh Kemenristek Dikti dengan mitra sekolah dasar terdampak Covid-19. Penelitian pada artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dampak implementasi program kurikulum MBKM yang diselenggarakan oleh Kemenristek Dikti Kampus Mengajar terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan metode campuran. Data kuantitatif pada penelitian teesebut meliputi angket mitra sekolah kampus mengajar dan mahasiswa peserta kampus mengajar. Data kualitatif pada penelitian tersebut berupa wawancara persepsi dari mahasiswa peserta kampus mengajar dan dosen pembimbing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa persepsi mahasiswa setelah mengikuti kampus mengajar sangat baik yaitu pada rata-rata 93%. Hal ini sejalan dengan tingginya persepsi mitra pada kualitas dan kemampuan yang dimiliki mahasiswa yaitu 97%. Berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa, program kampus mengajar tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman mengajar dalam kelas, tetapi juga dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan bekerja sama dan soft skill mahasiswa. Saran bagi keberlanjutan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dampak implementasi program-program MBKM yang lain sehingga dapat diperoleh pemetaan persepsi mahasiswa secara keseluruhan mengenai pelaksanaan kurikulum MBKM.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pemikiran awal yang melatarbelakangi pemilik membuat suplemen organik untuk hewan ternak ayam adalah pemilik ingin bisa berternak di lingkungan perumahan tanpa memberikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan berupa aroma tidak sedap dari kotoran ayam. Dalam proses pembuatnnya itu ternyata 1 resep bisa untuk 10 liter produk, sedangkan untuk pemakaiannya hanya digunakan 10 ml untuk 1 liter air minum ayam, sehingga muncul keingingan untuk menjual di market place. Sampai saat ini opalfood_farm sudah memiliki 7 produk suplemen organik untuk hewan ternak ayam yaitu air alkali, probiotik, jafer (jahe fermentasi), enzim petelur, enzim pedaging, BREW, dan dragon fermentasi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan pemikiran baru di masyarakat bahwasanya berternak ayam tidak harus di desa dengan lahan yang luas untuk menghindari polusi dari bau kotoran ayam, namun dilingkungan perumahan dengan lahan yang terbatas juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk bertenak ayam. sehingga setiap rumah bisa menghasilkan daging dan telur organik yang jelas lebih bergizi dan tentunya mengurangi pengeluaran bualan untuk belanja dapur. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah penyuluhan terhadap ibu-ibu PKK RT 01 RW 02 tembalangan kelurahan jatimulyo kecamatan lowokwaru Kota Malang. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe students' mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of self-confidence and gender. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The study was conducted in class VIII-H of SMPN 17 Malang, involving a total of 31 students. From this class, 12 students were selected as research subjects based on gender to participate in a written test. The data collection techniques included questionnaires, written tests, interviews, and field notes. Data analysis was conducted based on the results of the self-confidence questionnaire, written test results, and interviews, which referred to critical thinking indicators. To ensure data validity, techniques such as prolonged engagement, triangulation, peer discussion, and member checking were employed. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) the research subjects were better able to fulfill the evaluation indicators, (2) female students demonstrated higher self-confidence than male students, (3) higher levels of self-confidence, both in the high and low categories, were associated with higher written test results, and (4) female students tended to meet more critical thinking indicators.

Abstract

Derivative concepts are often difficult for students because they involve abstract relationships between symbolic procedures and graphical representations. This study aimed to evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of GeoDeriv, an integrated GeoGebra-based learning media designed to support twelfth-grade senior high school students in learning derivative concepts. The study was conducted within a research and development project using the ADDIE model, with this article specifically reporting the evaluation stage through field testing. The participants were 31 twelfth-grade students at MA YMPI Rappang. GeoDeriv integrates derivative materials, interactive simulations, graphical visualizations, practice tasks, and solution displays within a single GeoGebra-based learning environment to support students’ conceptual understanding and visual reasoning. Data were collected through student and teacher response questionnaires, a student learning outcomes test, and classroom activity observations. The results showed that GeoDeriv was highly practical, with practicality scores of 94.00% from students and 93.75% from the teacher. Its effectiveness was supported by the One-Sample Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test (p < 0.05), indicating that students’ post-test scores differed significantly from the Minimum Mastery Criterion. Student activity reached 90.00%, which was categorized as very good. These findings indicate that GeoDeriv provides promising classroom-level support for derivative learning by facilitating students’ engagement with symbolic, graphical, and conceptual representations in an integrated digital learning environment.   Keywords: Derivatives; Interactive Mathematics Learning Media; GeoGebra

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low student learning outcomes, as shown by the pretest results with a class average score of 58.2 and a learning completeness percentage of only 29%. The study aimed to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of plane figure elements through the implementation of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework in third-grade students at SDN Karangbesuki 3 Malang. This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of two cycles, with each cycle including planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 28 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observations. The learning process was carried out using interactive PowerPoint, the Polypad application, Wayground, cooperative learning models, and concrete media. The results showed that the implementation of the TPACK framework was able to improve students’ learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the class average increased to 72.1 with a learning completeness percentage of 57%. In Cycle II, the class average increased again to 83.2 with a learning completeness percentage reaching 82%. These results indicate that the research success indicators had been achieved. Therefore, the implementation of the TPACK framework proved effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of plane figure elements for third-grade students at SDN Karangbesuki 3 Malang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran matematika di kelas V SD kerap menemui kendala berupa rendahnya antusiasme dan pemahaman siswa akibat penggunaan media belajar yang monoton, seperti LKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang mengadopsi pendekatan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan dukungan platform WordPress. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Research and Development (R&amp;D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahapan, dan melibatkan 18 peserta didik serta satu guru dalam proses implementasi. Hasil validasi dari ahli menunjukkan bahwa media tergolong sangat layak, dengan skor masing-masing 93,7% (materi), 97,9% (media), dan 100% (bahasa). Uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa menghasilkan skor 94% dan 87,7% yang masuk kategori sangat praktis. Efektivitas media dianalisis melalui pretest dan posttest, menghasilkan N-Gain sebesar 0,56 yang diklasifikasikan cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran siswa secara interaktif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital short storybook based on ethnomathematics that is feasible, practical, and effective for improving the understanding of addition and subtraction of natural numbers in second-grade elementary school students. The type of research uses the ADDIE development research design, which includes the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. This research was conducted on fourth-grade students with a total of 28 participants. The research and development instruments used included material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The results of the material expert validation test scored 89.15, categorized as "Very Feasible." The results of the media expert validation test scored 98.75, categorized as "Excellent.". Based on the N-Gain test table of 28 students, the average pretest score was 61.43 with a minimum score of 40 and a maximum of 90, and a standard deviation of 12.683. This data indicates that the students' initial abilities before using the learning media were still in the moderate category with considerable variation in their abilities.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of energy transformation through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media for third-grade students at SDN Karangbesuki 3 Malang City in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 28 third-grade students. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments included observation sheets for teacher and student activities, learning outcome assessment tests, interview guidelines, and learning activity documentation. The results showed a continuous improvement in students' learning outcomes in each cycle. Learning mastery increased from 45% in the pre-cycle with an average score of 70, to 64% in Cycle I with an average score of 76, and further increased to 86% in Cycle II with an average score of 83. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Augmented Reality (AR) media is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of energy transformation for third-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and to improve students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education on the topic “My Attitude of Caring for the Environment” for second-grade students at SDN Karangbesuki 3. The study employed a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 19 students, consisting of 9 female students and 10 male students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the TGT learning model significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 37% in the pre-cycle to 63% in Cycle I and reached 89% in Cycle II. The class average score also improved from 68 in the pre-cycle to 74 in Cycle I and 85 in Cycle II. In addition, the TGT model enhanced students’ activeness, cooperation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. Therefore, the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model is effective in improving Pancasila Education learning outcomes for elementary school students.
