Abstract

Sports are activities that gather large numbers of people, allowing conflicts to occur by various interests. This article explores the causes of violence against supporters of PSM Makassar and then examines it from the perspective of sports sociology. This type of research is qualitative research with phenomenological study techniques. The research location was conducted in Makassar City. The research subject was tracing the support base of The Macz Man PSM Makassar. The data analysis technique is done by using data reduction, data presentation, which is then carried out by drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study found that there were 3 basic factors that led to violence against the Makassar PSM supporters, namely 1) the leadership factor of the referee in the match which was considered unfair so that it triggered a polemic in the audience, 2) the supporters' disappointment with the quality of the game displayed by PSM Makassar, and 3) the existence of excessive love and fanaticism in the supporters which causes them to act outside of rationality. 4) News coverage in the media which sometimes displays violent scenes has an impact on the violent acts of supporters, besides that regional characteristics also have a role in creating violent acts in sports that are carried out by supporters. 5) The characteristics of the sport that you watch, if there is a lot of physical contact it will be easier to trigger violence. This research is expected to be a consideration for related stakeholders as well as the Makassar PSM team so that it can minimize the occurrence of conflicts and acts of violence both on the field and outside the field so as to create a conducive sports climate that will have an impact on improving sports achievement. Abstrak Olahraga merupakan kegiatan yang mengumpulkan massa yang dalam jumlah besar sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya konflik oleh berbagai kepentingan. Artikel ini menelusuri penyebab terjadinya tindakan kekerasan pada supporter PSM Makassar kemudian dikaji dalam sudut pandang sosiologi olahraga. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik kajian fenomenologi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kota Makassar. Subjek penelitian penelusuran dari basis supporter The Macz Man PSM Makassar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data yang kemudian dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ada 3 faktor mendasar yang menyebabkan sehingga terjadinya tindakan kekerasan pada supporter PSM Makassar yaitu 1) factor kepemimpinan wasit dalam pertandingan yang dianggap tidak fair sehingga memicu polemic pada penonton, 2)Kekecewaan supporter terhadap kualitas permainan yang ditampilkan oleh PSM Makassar, dan 3) adanya rasa cinta dan fanatisme berlebihan dalam diri supporter yang mengakibatkan dapat bertindak diluar rasionalitas. 4)Pemberitaan di media yang terkadang menampilkan adegan kekerasan memiliki dampak terhadap tindakan kekerasan supporter, selain itu karakteristik daerah juga memiliki andil dalam menciptakan tindak kekerasan dalam olahraga yang dilakukan oleh supporter. 5)Karakteristik dari olahraga yang ditonton, apabila banyak kontak fisik akan lebih mudah mudah memicu tindak kekerasan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi stakeholder yang terkait begitupun terhadap team PSM Makassar sehingga dapat meminimalisir terjadinya konflik dan tindakan kekerasan baik di lapangan maupun di luar lapangan sehingga tercipta iklim olahraga yang kondusif yang akan berdampak pada peningkatan prestasi olahraga. Abstract

Student academic problems have always been a concern of the government and teachers, various methods and design of learning that are used in improving academic achievement and student learning outcomes. This study examines the relationship of physical fitness to student learning outcomes. The number of samples 28 people selected from the population of 35 people with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using 5 physical fitness test instruments and for learning outcomes taken from the results of midterm exams. Data analysis techniques used the Kolmogorof Smirnof One Sample Test and Pearson Spearman Correlation Test. The results showed that the highest physical fitness score of 24 was included in the very good category and the lowest score was 13, which means it was still lacking, the highest average student learning outcomes were 79.92 and the lowest average value was 72.28. While the Correlation analysis shows the value (r) 0.304 with a probability level (0.005) <α0.05 so there is a significant relationship between the two variables. Based on the analysis it is concluded that there is a relationship between the level of physical fitness with student learning outcomes, the better the physical fitness, the better the student learning outcomes will be.

Abstract

Penguasaan keterampilan dasar pada setiap cabang olahraga mutlak harus dimiliki untuk meraih prestasi termasuk pada cabang olahraga petanque. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan olahraga Petanque Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian yang di lakukan mengadopsi jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakuakn denga tahap yakni tahap persiapan instrument keterampilan shooting dan pointing dan pada tahap kedua adalah tahap pengumpualan data dilapangan dengan pendekatan observasi dan mencatat hasil yang di capai oleh sampel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Petanque Sulawesi Selatan yang berjumlah 30 atlet yang di tetapkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif frekuensi yang menggunakan 5 pengkategorian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa secara umum tingkat keterampilan olahraga petanque atlet Petanque Sulawesi Selatan termasuk kategori “cukup” baik pada keterampilan shooting maupun pointing dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 35.30. dari hasil analisis tersebut maka dapat disimpulakn bahwa keterampilan dasar bermaian olahraga petanque atlet Sulawesi selatan masih dalam kategori “cukup” hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan evalusi bagi pengurus, paletih dan atlet dalam melakukan pendekatan dan metode latihan yang tepat guna meraih prestasi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The Community Diversity Program implemented at SMAN 1 Polewali Mandar aims to address the issue of disparities and boredom in students' learning that often occur in school. Through this program, students will be given the opportunity to play simple, innovative, and challenging traditional games. This is expected to revive their interest in learning and make them more ready and motivated to continue their studies after a break. The program will last for 240 minutes and will use a hands-on approach and lecture method. In the hands-on session, students will play traditional sports games and are expected to be physically active, thus improving their gross motor development. This program will also enhance students' understanding of conventional sports games and provide them with the opportunity to create traditional games as creative and enjoyable learning materials. This community literacy program is very important for students' development as the physical activities performed during the program will help improve their physical condition, making them fresher and more enthusiastic to continue their studies. It is hoped that this will motivate them to be more active and enthusiastic in learning and participating in other school activities

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to use the blended learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic and the effectiveness of PJOK learning in SMA Kota Palu. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population is all public high schools in the city of Palu, totaling 14 schools. Research data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research results were analyzed using frequency distribution and cross tabulation. The findings of the research results were that of the 60 respondents who were given a questionnaire, the respondents who answered that they had never used the blended learning model were 3.3%, quite often as many as 46.7%, said often as much as 26.7%, and very often as many as 5%. In general, from a total of 60 respondents, the effectiveness of the blended learning model that was carried out was that those who answered quite effectively were 45%, effective 28.3%, the rest were divided into other categories which stated that the blended learning model was very effective by 5%, not effective by 15 %, and very ineffective at 6.7%. From the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that in terms of the use of the blended learning model it is used quite often and in terms of the effectiveness of the blended learning model it is quite effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar anak pada dua lokasi yang berbeda yaitu pada daerah pegunungan dan pesisir. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian deskriptif, jumlah populasi 185 sekolah pada daerah pesisir sedangkan pegunungan 222 jumlah tersebut dilakukan penarikan sampel dengan 2 tahap yaitu menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling selanjutnya purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel 57 sampel dengan rincian 45 orang daerah pesisir dan 12 orang pegunungan. Instrumen dan petunjuk tes menggunakan Tes of Gross Motor Development-3. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu perhitungan berdasarkan tabel norma TGMD-3, analisis persentase dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata indeks motorik kasar anak usia dini pada kedua lokasi memiliki selisih perbedaan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini, anak daerah pesisir lebih baik dibandingkan anak usia dini daerah pegunungan.

Abstract

Objective. The better student learning outcomes will influence the student's ability to solve problems that will be faced in real life after completing education and teachers play a very important role in helping students achieve this. In this research, it will carry an investigation out regarding teacher pedagogical competence and its influence on student learning outcomes. Materials and methods. The research carried out was quantitative survey type research with the entire population as a sample, namely 35 teachers in 2 sub-districts in Palu City. The instrument used was a questionnaire and data collection techniques used interview and observation techniques and distributed questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by conducting a t-test. Results. The research results found a t-test value of 75.971 with a significance level of 0.000 < α0.05, this shows that there is a significant influence between the variables studied. Conclusion. The conclusion of this research was that there was an influence of teacher pedagogic competence on student learning outcomes. The results can be used for teachers to develop professionalism by prioritizing pedagogical competence as the focus of development.

Abstract

Objective. Creativity is a crucial attribute required in various professions, and its significance is particularly evident in the field of education, including teaching. The ability to innovate and think creatively is essential for educators to effectively adapt to and address the ever-evolving landscape of advancements and challenges. This research study was conducted with the specific objective of evaluating and quantifying the degree of originality demonstrated by physical education teachers. The assessment encompassed seven distinct indicators, providing a comprehensive analysis of the teachers' creative abilities within the context of their profession. Methods and Materials. The study used a descriptive research design, involving systematic observation of phenomena and forming conclusions based on the observations. The research was conducted in two sub-districts, Taweli, and North Palu, covering a total of 29 schools. All 35 Physical Education teachers in the area were included in the study using total sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and frequency distribution analysis to determine percentage scores within the sample. Result. The research findings have been sorted by gender, employment status, and certification status. The study found that women show higher levels of creativity compared to men, especially in the highly creative category. 9% of women demonstrated this level of creativity, while only 6% of men did. When looking at employment status, civil servants are more likely to be classified as very creative, with 11% falling into this category compared to 3% for honorary positions. In terms of certification status, 11% of those certified fall into the very creative category, while for the non-certified category, the proportion is 3%. Conclusion. Upon examination of the research data, it was found that among the 35 samples, 5 (14%) were labeled as extremely creative, 5 (14%) as creative, 14 (40%) as not creative, and 11 (31%) as highly uncreative. This suggests that there is a low level of creativity among PJOK teachers, as indicated by the largest percentage within this group. However, it is important to note that when combining the percentages of highly creative and creative, the overall figure remains substantial at 28%.

Abstract

Objectives. To enhance the speed of service training through pacing on the sepak takraw service skills of physical education students at Tadulako University, Palu. Materials and Methods. The study involved a total of 8 athletes occupying the roles of servicer or tekong, thus the sample for this research was derived from the complete population of these 8 athletes. Therefore, the sampling technique employs total sampling. The method of data collection involves administering a test, specifically a sepak takraw service speed test. The equipment utilized for the experiment includes a sepak takraw field, a sepak takraw ball, and a stopwatch. The procedure involves measuring the duration from the moment the ball is struck until it makes contact with the floor of the sepak takraw court. Following the pre-test, the sample underwent a service speed training intervention utilizing a pacing pad over the course of 16 sessions. After that, the sample was given a posttest with the same procedure as the initial test or pre-test. Once all the data had been gathered, the next step involved employing the data analysis technique. Results. The data analysis revealed that the investigation into the impact of service speed training utilizing pacing pads on the service speed of sepak takraw athletes at Tadulako University, Palu, yielded significant findings. Conclusion. This study demonstrates that the training method utilizing pacing pads can markedly enhance service speed in sepak takraw. It is advisable to conduct additional studies to investigate the effectiveness of varying training durations, the different applications of pacing pads, and to compare this method with alternative training strategies to enhance athlete performance. Furthermore, studies involving a larger sample size and a broader range of ability levels are necessary to enhance the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

Perubahan budaya dan gaya hidup generasi Z, yang memerlukan pendekatan baru dalam mendisiplinkan siswa tanpa menggunakan hukuman fisik atau pendekatan militer. Tujuan utama pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada guru mengenai prinsip disiplin positif sebagai alternatif untuk mengelola perilaku siswa secara lebih humanis, tanpa kekerasan atau penghukuman. Metode yang digunakan meliputi lokakarya dengan teknik coaching yang diawali dengan survey lapangan dan sosialisasi, kegiatan lokakarya serta pendampingan dan evaluasi yang merupakan upaya keberlanjutan hingga tahap implementasi. Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk mengedepankan pendekatan humanis dalam menindak perilaku siswa, serta mendorong perubahan pola pikir siswa tanpa menggunakan sanksi fisik atau kekerasan. Hasil evaluasi pemahaman guru secara skor rata-rata pada tes awal sebesar 66.47 dan meningkat pada tes akhir sebesar 72.33 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pemahaman peserta lokakarya dalam hal ini guru PJOK di Kota Palu mengalami peningkatan mengenai konsep disiplin positif dengan  dan telah di implementasikan di sekolah masing-masing. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka hendaknya ke depan kegiatan dilakukan dengan waktu yang lebih lama sehingga dapat melihat efek terhadap siswa bukan hanya pada tataran implementasi pada guru.
