Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce system integrated with a barcode scanner to support product data management at Toko Keko Branded Yogyakarta. The system is proposed as a solution to the previous manual ordering and recording processes, which were time-consuming and prone to errors. The application was developed using PHP and MySQL, with Bootstrap to provide a responsive user interface. The integration of a barcode scanner enables faster and more accurate product input, stock updates, and product search without manual typing. The development process follows the Waterfall model, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show that the system improves the efficiency of product management, facilitates transactions, and supports the digitalization of store operations.

Abstract

The agricultural sector supports economic growth, with cultivation essential for food production. Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) require stable temperature and humidity to thrive. In Kendal Regency, oyster mushroom farmers still rely on manual spraying, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. To address this, a monitoring and control system was developed using a DHT22 sensor and Wemos D1 R1 microcontroller connected to IoT. This system enables real-time temperature and humidity monitoring via an Android app, allowing farmers to check conditions remotely and efficiently manage the oyster mushroom barn environment.

Abstract

Native chicken farming plays an essential role in supporting community food supply, particularly as a source of animal protein. However, feeding activities and feed stock management are still commonly performed manually, resulting in high labor requirements and time consumption. inconsistent feeding schedules, and inadequate monitoring of feed availability, which may negatively affect farm productivity. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart farm system that enables automatic feeding and real-time monitoring of feed stock for native chicken farming. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the main control unit, a servo motor to regulate feed distribution, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure feed levels, and a Real Time Clock (RTC) module to manage feeding schedules. All system information and feed stock status are transmitted directly to farmers through the Telegram application using a Bot API. The research method applied in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using a prototyping approach, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, prototype development, testing, and implementation. The results demonstrate that the developed system can operate automatically according to predefined schedules and provide timely notifications when feed stock reaches a critical level. The implementation of this system improves operational efficiency, reduces manual workload, and supports better management of native chicken farming through the use of IoT technology.

Abstract

The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has opened up considerable possibilities for automation systems aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in both home and office settings. This study focuses on the creation and deployment of an IoT-driven Smart Home system utilizing ESP32 for the automatic and manual supervision and regulation of electrical appliances within the Employee Dormitory of the Institute for Lecturer Performance Development (LPKD). The established system employs a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor for detecting human presence and a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor to assess the intensity of light in the room. The data from these sensors is analyzed by the ESP32 microcontroller, which controls lights and fans automatically through relay modules based on the surrounding conditions. Furthermore, the system is linked to the Blynk application and the Telegram Bot API to enable remote operation and immediate notifications. The methodological approach taken in this research is Research and Development (R&D) employing a prototyping method. The assessment outcomes show that the system functions reliably, with success rates for sensor detection and appliance management exceeding 95%. The introduction of this system aims to boost electrical energy efficiency, improve user experience, and facilitate the adoption of IoT-centered smart facility management within the LPKD framework.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi listrik di lingkungan perkantoran yang belum terkelola secara optimal sering menimbulkan pemborosan, khususnya pada lampu dan pendingin ruangan yang tetap aktif di luar jam operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem berbasis Internet of Things menggunakan ESP32 untuk pengendalian listrik kantor dengan mekanisme auto cut-off berbasis waktu melalui jalur setelah Miniature Circuit Breaker. Sistem mengendalikan beban lampu dan pendingin ruangan secara terpusat menggunakan relay sebagai aktuator, dilengkapi sinkronisasi waktu melalui Network Time Protocol, Real Time Clock DS3231 sebagai sumber waktu cadangan saat offline, sensor DHT11, tampilan OLED, tombol input, serta dashboard web berbasis Laravel untuk pemantauan dan kontrol dua arah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan rancang bangun dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, implementasi, integrasi, serta pengujian menggunakan black box testing, integration testing, dan endurance testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengaktifkan dan menonaktifkan relay sesuai jadwal operasional, membedakan hari kerja dan hari libur nasional, tetap berjalan pada kondisi tanpa internet, serta menyediakan override mode untuk kendali manual. Sistem yang dikembangkan dapat mendukung efisiensi penggunaan energi listrik dan penerapan konsep smart office berbasis Internet of Things.

Abstract

Pegon is an Arabic alphabet modified to write Javanese, Madurese and Sundanese. Pegon itself is widely used among Muslims, especially for religious education facilities in Islamic boarding schools. At that time, the Javanese still used the Kawi script and Javanese script to write classical Javanese texts. To develop the motivation of students in mastering science, learning the Pegon alphabet can take advantage of Information Technology and Computer-based learning, especially Android-based smartphones that are practical and have a high level of mobility. The results of this study are learning media for writing pegon letters in interpreting books in android-based Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

From the results of the analysis of the data or information obtained, there is an urgent need for the availability of an employee data processing application program. To perform the processing of employee salary data processing at PT. GrandBest Indonesia is done by saving the data as an archive, then the data is entered into the computer through the Ms. Excel. Based on data from interviews with officers who handle employee payroll issues, that the ability of HR in using Ms. Excel is very low. As a result, this program cannot be used properly to process employee salary data. This is an obstacle because it causes delays in information and data loss. To overcome these problems, a new computerized system is needed to improve work efficiency. The methodology used to design the computerized system is: analyzing the current system, designing a new system, creating a system / programming, and finally testing the system that has been created. The resulting application in making this program is an employee payroll information system application at PT. GrandBest Indonesia using Visual Foxpro 9.0 programming language. This application generates employee biodata reports, salary data reports consisting of all salary data reports, attendance and salary data reports, salary data reports per class and journals..

Abstract

Forest fires are a frequent disaster in Indonesia, especially during the dry season, which has serious impacts on ecosystems, public health, and economic conditions. This research aims to design a prototype Internet of Things (IoT)-based forest fire early detection system supported by LoRa transmission technology and Thingspeak cloud storage platform. The system uses DHT22 sensors to measure temperature and humidity, MQ-2 sensors to detect the presence of gas and smoke, and solar panels as the main power source to support energy efficiency in the field. LoRa was chosen as the communication medium due to its ability to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption. Data read by the sensors is regularly sent to ThingSpeak and displayed graphically with an average transmission delay of 15 seconds. Tests have shown that the system is able to accurately recognize potential fires and send out early warnings quickly. In this way, the system can be an efficient and energy-saving solution for remote forest areas. Overall, this prototype has successfully demonstrated its potential as a reliable and innovative forest fire mitigation tool.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic water pump monitoring and control system. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller connected to an ultrasonic sensor to measure water level and a turbidity sensor to detect water clarity. The pump is automatically activated when the water level drops below a specified threshold and deactivated when the tank is full. Furthermore, when the turbidity value exceeds a certain limit (e.g., >40 NTU), the system sends notifications to the user via the Blynk application. In addition, notifications are also sent through a Telegram bot, allowing users to receive alerts instantly without needing to open the Blynk app. Key data such as water level distance, NTU value, pump status, and water condition are displayed locally on a 16x2 LCD and remotely on the Blynk dashboard.System testing was conducted using samples of clean water, tea, and milk coffee to represent varying levels of turbidity. The results showed that the system effectively detected different turbidity levels and automatically controlled the pump based on the water level. This system offers an efficient real-time solution for monitoring water quality and can be applied in places such as Islamic schools (TPQ), educational institutions, or households.

Abstract

Server room security is a critical aspect of industrial operations, including at the Trangkil Sugar Factory, where all digital systems and production machine controls depend on the stability of IT infrastructure. The primary issue often encountered is unstable temperature or extreme humidity, which, if left unaddressed, can damage hardware components or even trigger fire risks due to electrical short circuits. This study aims to design an automated temperature, humidity, and smoke monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to minimize these risks. The system was developed using the ESP32 microcontroller integrated with the DHT22 sensor for monitoring temperature and humidity, alongside the MQ2 sensor for smoke detection. The Research and Development (R&D) method was employed to ensure the system's accuracy in a real-world environment. Testing results indicate that the system provides a rapid response; if the temperature exceeds 21°C or humidity goes above 45%, a warning LED is activated. Furthermore, early warnings in the form of real-time notifications are sent directly to the technician's smartphone via a Telegram Bot, and a buzzer is triggered upon smoke detection. With this system, server room supervision becomes more efficient as it can be conducted remotely, allowing potential hardware damage to be prevented at an early stage.
