Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam cerita fantasi Kumpulan Dongeng Pembentuk Karakter Pemimpin karya Dian Kristiani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa teks yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku Kumpulan Dongeng Pembentuk Karakter Pemimpin karya Dian Kristiani. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah baca, catat, dan studi pustaka. Adapun hasil penelitian ini, yaitu terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung pada 10 judul cerita di buku kumpulan dongeng pembentuk karakter pemimpin karya Dian Kristiani terdiri dari 5 nilai religius, 5 nilai nasional, 3 nilai mandiri, 7 nilai gotong royong, dan 5 nilai integritas.

Abstract

Abstract This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data is taken from the words or sentences and expressions included in the images in the poetic anthology book Variasi Kuning Kunyit by the West Java female poet. Through poetry, a poet can express the bad and good things he feels so that every reader can feel the meaning of the poetry he reads. Based on this, the author researched the elements of the image in the poetic anthology book Variasi Kuning Kunyit by the West Java Woman Poet. With the data used of 94 poems belonging to 20 Western Java female poets, 366 image elements were obtained in them with visual and motion images that were more dominant. Abstract

The problems of learning Indonesian can be seen by focusing this study on teaching materials, learning processes, and cultural differences. The design of this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data in this research are in the form of speech containing information obtained from notes on the results of questionnaires that have been submitted to foreign students. In accordance with the research objective, namely to describe the problems of learning Indonesian for foreign students of the BIPA program. The data source in this research is the results of a questionnaire obtained from external campus activities carried out by researchers together with foreign students. The results of the research show that there are problems with foreign students when learning Indonesian. Keywords: Problems, teaching materials, learning processes, and cultural differences.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) requires structured, communicative, and internationally standardized teaching materials. One widely used teaching material is Sahabatku Indonesia Level 4, which is intended for the intermediate level. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of ensuring that the teaching materials not only convey language formally, but also align with the needs of learners' communicative competence and recognized standards, such as the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 and the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI). The purpose of this research is to evaluate the structure and linguistic aspects of the Sahabatku Indonesia Level 4 teaching materials by reviewing the integration of the material, clarity of discourse, vocabulary diversity, and grammatical accuracy used. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were analyzed using an evaluation rubric based on CEFR B2 and UKBI components. The focus of the analysis includes the integration of presentation between units, the logical flow of learning, and the consistency of language use in supporting receptive and productive skills. The results show that the material presentation structure reflects a logical, progressive learning sequence and supports language skill mastery. The language elements used are generally appropriate for the intermediate level, although discrepancies were still found, such as the use of irrelevant illustrations and inconsistent language style. Furthermore, the syntactic complexity in some sections still needs to be adjusted to align with the abilities of B2 learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: kemampuan peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menyimak teks ulasan yang berfokus pada struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media podcast. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen semu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: sebelum diterapkan pembelajaran, peserta didik belum mampu dalam menyimak teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur dan kebahasaan, kecuali hanya 2 peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM, sedangkan sisanya masih di bawah KKM sebanyak 27 peserta didik; dan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran, peserta didik sudah mampu dalam menyimak teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur dan kebahasaan, dengan 19 peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM, sementara 10 peserta didik lainnya masih di bawah KKM. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menyimak teks ulasan berfokus pada struktur dan kebahasaan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media podcast di kelas VIII SMPN 17 Bandung berhasil menunjukkan perbedaan dan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata-kata Kunci:  Menyimak, Teks Ulasan, Model Problem Based Learning, Podcast

Abstract

This study aims to explore and identify the social values contained in Danarto's short story Zamrud using a sociological study of literature by analyzing it and describing the influence between literature and society. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection techniques in this study include reading, note-taking, documentation, and literature studies. While the data analysis technique that will be carried out is using the Miles and Huberman model regarding social values. The data sources in this analysis are Danarto's short story Zamrud and several supporting books for the research. Zamrud is a short story found in Danarto's short story collection Ikan-Ikan dari Laut Merah. The results of the short story analysis show 9 social values consisting of 6 values of compassion, 2 values of responsibility, and 1 value of harmony in life. This research is expected to increase knowledge for researchers in the field of literature and provide an understanding for readers of literary works regarding social values.

Abstract

This study investigates how elementary teacher education (PPG PGSD) students develop instructional materials grounded in the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) framework and analyzes how the five core CRT dimensions are operationalized in their instructional designs. Responding to the limited empirical evidence on the practical enactment of CRT within teacher preparation programs, this study contributes by offering an analytical examination of pre-service teachers’ design competence rather than merely their conceptual understanding. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed involving ten PPG PGSD students. Data were collected through CRT-based instructional material assignments, semi-structured interviews, and rubric-guided assessments. The five CRT dimensions, cultural awareness, culturally relevant curriculum integration, inclusive learning environment, critical consciousness development, and culturally responsive assessment, were translated into explicit analytical indicators to ensure systematic evaluation. Although qualitative in design, percentage scores (average mastery of 89.23%) were incorporated as descriptive support to enhance analytic clarity rather than statistical generalization. The findings indicate that participants demonstrated strong conceptual mastery and were able to integrate several CRT dimensions into their instructional materials. However, limitations were identified in designing culturally responsive assessments, promoting higher-order critical thinking, and facilitating students’ active knowledge construction. Participants also experienced challenges in deeply incorporating students’ cultural backgrounds and sustaining inclusive classroom representations. These results extend CRT scholarship by highlighting gaps between theoretical understanding and instructional implementation. The study provides implications for strengthening CRT-oriented in teacher education programs and for improving the development of culturally responsive instructional materials in culturally diverse educational contexts.
