Abstract

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) are electrical power generators that convert solar energy into electrical power. One of the companies engaged in electricity generation is PT. Brilliant Renewable Infrastructure. The problem that often occurs in PLTS is zero power in the combiner box. Zero power is a problem that often occurs which causes the energy produced by the PV module to not be optimal. The aim of this research is to analyze the causes of zero power in the combiner box. One way to find out the factors causing zero waste is to use a Problem Tree. Problem Tree is a methodology/technique used to identify the reasons for a problem. The results showed that the factors causing zero power in the combiner box were three causes, namely the cable gland installation was not tight enough, the DC cable was bitten by rats and the strings were not functioning. The impact of these 3 types of damage can cause zero power so that no electrical voltage is generated

Abstract

Laboratorium Kimia Teknik Industri merupakan laboratorium yang digunakan untuk praktikum sekaligus untuk melakukan produksi beberapa jenis produk kimia dan turunannya, salah satunya adalah detergent pencuci piring. Kegiatan produksi detergent pencuci piring yang berjalan saat ini masih belum baik dari komposisi produk maupun kualitas serta efesiensinya. Untuk mendapatkan tingkat efisien yang diharapkan maka dilakukan pengembangan produk detergen pencuci piring dengan menggunakan metode Value Analysis dan Value Engineering. Value Analysis dan Value Engineering merupakan pendekatan yang berorientasi fungsi dan terorganisir dan terarah untuk menganilisis fungsi-fungsi dari produk, sistem atau proses penyediaan untuk tujuan meningkatkan nilainya (Value) dengan mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan biaya-biaya yang tidak diperlukan dan mencapai kinerja yang dibutuhkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapati 4 komparasi Teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan produk dengan masing-masing nilai Komparasi Teknik 1 sebesar 5 skor, Komparasi Teknik 2 sebesar 0 skor, Komparasi Teknik 3 sebesar 3 skor, Komparasi Teknik 4 sebesar 13 skor. Pengembangan produk detergen pencuci piring direkomendasikan menggunakan Komparasi Teknik ke 4 dengan sifat produk yang terdiri dari 8 bahan baku dan memiliki nilai viskositas di angka 2700 MpAs.

Abstract

Downtime is a condition in which the machine stops operating not on scheduled stops but due to a disturbance that occurs on the machine, so the machine will be idle until the machine has been repaired or is not in a state of disturbance. Downtime is when production equipment is not functioning due to a sudden inspection and repair of damaged equipment. Elevators can raise the material to a height of up to 50 meters; the capacity can reach 50 ????3/hour. The construction can reach a vertical position. The working principle of this tool is to move the material vertically by placing the material in buckets which are linked by a chain or belt at a certain distance which rotates on the pulley so that the bouquet can move vertically. This study uses the tree diagram method to analyse downtime problems by applying the 5 M + 1E technique.

Abstract

PT. XZ is a company engaged in the manufacture of flip-flops. One of the sandal products produced is Screen-printed flip flops. However, in every production process failure is inseparable in the form of defective products in the production process. The purpose of this research is to minimize defects in Screen printing products. To reduce these defects, it is necessary to analyze the production process using the Statistical Process Control method. The analysis was carried out by using Seven Tools and 5W+1H tools. The results of the analysis show that the types of defects that occur in Screen printing products are the color of the paint is uneven, the paint is smeared and peeled off, and the Screen printing is not precise. Based on the three types of defects, the most dominant defect is uneven paint color with a percentage of 41,8%. Screen printing product defects are caused by human, machine, material, and method. Improvement efforts made to minimize the occurrence of uneven/fading paint color defects, namely conducting briefings and conducting supervision and checking on Screen printing results, checking on the Screen before printing is done, checking paint before printing, and providing training on rework standardization to employees and conducting regular performance evalutions. Abstract

CV Fajar Samudra is a company that manages rice in Sumbawa. The rice processing process per day can produce + 3 thousand tons of harvested dry grain (GKP) and also produce 50 tons of milled dry grain (GKG) which can later produce around 30 tons of rice. Based on the results of the interview, the problem with the rice grinding machine occurred because the v-belt of the machine broke/loose so that the machine stopped and did not operate for +4 hours. This research uses OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculations, namely measuring the level of effectiveness of machine use by calculating machine availability, performance and quality of the products produced. OEE calculates availability, performance and quality. The calculation results from this research show that the availability value is 94.34%, performance 52.44% and quality 99.62%. The OEE value obtained was 47.79% (low). So it can be seen that the highest Losses of CV Fajar Samudra on the rice milling unit machine is the Reduce speed Losses of 39.33% in October 2023.

Abstract

UD Tofu Factory. Graha Sukses produces tofu, the results of observations in the field, there are tofu defects. The new seven tools method is seven tools that are able to explore data qualitatively. Affinity Diagram, Interrelationship, Tree diagram is the human factor, lack of caution in the printing process. Machine, manual printing tool. Environment, product storage location is less tidy and hot. Materials, less checked before processing. Methods, SOPs of printing equipment and printing processes are not paid attention to. Matrix diagrams, supervision of soaking, molding and moving products score 9 and training to workers related to SOPs and product quality score 8. Matrix data analysis, priority score of improvement proposals 3, improvement in UD paying attention to SOP score 2, training to workers score 2, supervision of workers score 2, scheduling maintenance of tools score 2, changing manual tools to automatic score 2, making checksheets score 2, checking raw materials before and after production score 2. The arrow chart of the critical path is the A-C-E-G path. PDPC diagram proposes improvements by conducting training to workers for SOPs, check sheets are used to recap defective products and checking materials before use. Abstract

Tempe producers in Sumbawa Regency have problems in meeting the increasing consumer needs. One of the factors is the unstable price of soybean raw materials, this hurts the sustainability of these small businesses. The purpose of this study is to analyze the calculation of tempe business productivity to carry out business control. The methods used are objective matrix, fishbone and 5W + 1H. The results of this study obtained the productivity index (IP) value in December 2023, namely 2.35%, in January 2024 it was 4.65%, in February 2024 it was 3.2%, in March 2024 it was 2.35%, in April 2024 it was 1.5% and in May 2024 it was 6%. From these achievements, the productivity that increased the most occurred in May 2024 with a performance indicator of 6% while the lowest productivity occurred in April 2024 with a performance indicator of 1.55%.

Abstract

The work of traditional blacksmiths in Talwa, Sumbawa Regency, is still done manually with awkward work postures, excessive use of energy, heat exposure, and vibration, thus risking musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This condition shows that there is a gap in research related to the application of ergonomics in the traditional small industry sector. This study aims to analyze the level of ergonomic risk in blacksmith workers using the Skeletal Muscle Disorder (GOTRAK) assessment and the SNI 9011:2021 ergonomic potential hazard checklist, and develop recommendations for improvement. The method used was descriptive quantitative on five workers, with data collection through the GOTRAK questionnaire and SNI 9011:2021 checklist. The results show high risk (score >8) in the shoulders, upper and lower back, arms, and hands, and moderate risk (score 6-7) in the neck, elbows, hips, thighs, knees, calves, and feet. Ergonomic potential hazard scores ranged from 9 to 21, with the main exposures from bending postures, wrist bending, power grip >5 kg, vibration without dampening, high temperature, and static standing. Implementation of SNI 9011:2021 in traditional small industries and ergonomic recommendations to improve safety, comfort, and productivity.

Abstract

The problem of stunting in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) remains a serious concern despite a significant decline in stunting rates. Despite this considerable decline, NTB has yet to reach the national target of 14%. There is still 10.6% left to achieve to meet the national target. Stunting in NTB is caused by chronic, recurring malnutrition, especially in animal protein. Therefore, to meet these nutritional needs and increase children's appetite, innovations in stunting management are needed, one of which is creating contemporary foods such as dimsum siomay. Training on making dimsum siomay using chicken and shrimp as raw materials was provided to the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group in Maman Village, Sumbawa Regency, to improve the knowledge and economy of its members, and to reduce stunting rates. The training method used was the Participatory Rural Appraisal approach, which included the delivery of materials and hands-on practice in making dimsum siomay. A review of the training activities was conducted after the training, aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of the training in improving the knowledge, skills, and awareness of the PKK women's group in Maman Village in developing culinary businesses. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the knowledge, skills, and caring attitudes of PKK members after the training. The training also raised PKK members' awareness of developing independent and sustainable culinary businesses. The training's effectiveness rate was 45%, categorized as quite effective in empowering the PKK women's group economically, and can serve as a model for other community empowerment programs.

Abstract

Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja merupakan hal yang penting bagi perusahaan dan juga karyawan karena dampak kecelakaan dan penyakit kerja sangat merugikan karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bengkel Satria Candra yang berfokus pada penerimaan jasa otomotif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis resiko kecelakaan kerja dengan menggunakan metode HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control). HIRARC merupakan sebuah metode dalam mencegah atau mengurangi kecelakaan kerja. Hazard Identification adalah upaya mengetahui bahaya pada setiap aktivitas di perusahaan yang berguna untuk mengurangi peluang terjadinya kecelakaan, memberikan pemahaman serta kewaspadaan terhadap potensi bahaya, serta memberikan informasi berupa dokumen tentang sumber bahaya kepada para pekerja maupun para pihak-pihak. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas para pekerja dalam penelitian melakukan pekerjaan tidak dilengkapi dengan APD serta lingkungan pekerjaan kurang aman. Penilaian risiko dilakukan untuk mengukur seberapa besar dampak dari identifikasi masalah yang telah ditentukan. Penilaian risiko ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua parameter, yaitu likelihood dan severity.
