Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 menjadi tantangan bagi akademisi dan praktisi di bidang pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi belum berimbang dengan kemampuan tenaga pengajar untuk berinovasi dalam menyusun media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi menyebabkan siswa tidak dapat menyerap materi selama proses pembelajaran, terlebih pembelajaran karya tulis ilmiah. Waktu pembelajaran di sekolah yang relatif singkat, siswa dituntut untuk memadukan informasi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk menanggapi fenomena di sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, multimedia interaktif model ASSURE (Analyze, State, Select, Utilize, Require, dan Evaluate) sangat relevan mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development yang menghasilkan produk berupa software dan website.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper discusses the effect of learning method and formative scoring technique implementation on students’ reading comprehension skill by controlling the students’ initial ability. The method used in it is quasi experimental design with 2X2 factorial design. The data are two controlled class and two experimental class of SMPN 3 and SMP IT Raudhatul Jannah in Cilegon City, Banten. Independent variables are learning methods and formative scoring technique, while the dependent one is reading comprehension skill. Learning methods consist of SQ3R and scramble, while the scoring formative techniques are multiple choices and cloze tests. The results show that the SQ3R method is able to determine the students’ in comprehending Indonesian texts using formative tests. Reading learning using the suitable methods  will improve students’ results. SQ3R method is more suitable with the multiple choice tests while scramble method is more suitable with cloze tests. AbstrakPenelititian ini mendiskusikan pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran dan teknik penilaian formatif terhadap keterampilan pemahaman membaca dengan mengontrol kemampuan awal siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Data penelitian adalah dua kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas kontrol pada SMP Negeri 3 dan SMP IT Raudhatul Jannah Kota Cilegon, Banten. Variabel independen adalah metode pembelajaran dan teknik penilaian formatif, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah keterampilan pemahaman membaca.Metode pembelajaran terdiri atas SQ3R dan scramble. Teknik penilaian formatif terdiri atas pilihan ganda dan rumpang (cloze). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa metode SQ3R dapat menentukan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Indonesia dengan jenis tes formatif. Pembelajaran membaca dengan metode yang tepat akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Ketika metode SQ3R diimplementasikan, jenis tes pilihan ganda lebih baik diberikan kepada siswa, sedangkan jika metode scramble diberikan kepada siswa, jenis tes rumpang lebihsesuai untuk menilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This research is based on the government's efforts to foster a culture of literacy with the establishment of the School Literacy Movement "Gerakan Literasi Sekolah" (GLS) program where this program apart from cultivating a literacy culture also utilizes the library as a learning resource. Therefore this study aims to determine the teacher's role in the use of the library as a learning resource to support literacy culture at SDN Pancanegara schools for fifth grade students which is carried out by teachers, especially fifth grade teachers at Pancanegara Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative type, where the researcher as the main instrument through direct research with a naturalistic approach. This research consists of two stages, namely the preliminary stage and activity development/preliminary stage consisting of reference and field studies to obtain accurate information about the research problem. The development stage includes development activities and validation of research data collection. Data collection has been validated to be used for data collection. The results of the study show that the most important thing is the teacher's role in the process of learning activities that support the literacy culture shown by the teacher in the elementary school.

Abstract

Short story reading skills are one of the competencies that students in Indonesian language subjects must master. One way to improve reading skills is to use suitable media. This study aimed to determine the effect of Let's Read and Literacy Cloud applications on Reading Skills in Class IX Students of SMPN 5 Serang City in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research is quasi-experimental with a control group pretest-posttest design that uses pretest and posttest for the effect of treatment on short story reading skills. The sample in this study amounted to 68 people, divided into 34 people in the experimental group and 34 in the control group. Statistical analysis was carried out using the t-test. The results showed that the Let's Read application had an influence on improving students' skills in reading short stories, and the Literacy Cloud application also had an impact on improving students' skills in reading short stories. The analysis results show that the Lets Read application has a higher effect on students' reading skills than the Literacy Cloud application. This indicates that the use of the Let's Read application is expected to be increased so that it can improve students' short story reading skills more optimally.

Abstract

The study aims to develop a descriptive writing guidebook. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the research design of Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono into six stages include potential and problems, information gathering, product design, design validation, product revision, and product testing (limited trial). The result of the research is the learning media of guidebook to write descriptions based on go to your post. Based on the result of the due diligence of media experts, the criteria are feasible with an average value of 79%. The results of the validation by material experts obtained very feasible criteria with an average value of 87,31%. The results of the validation by linguists obtained the appropriate criteria with an average value of 76%. As for the results of the student response questionnaire on the limited trial obtained an average value of 92% with very good criteria. Based on these results, concluded that the final product in the form of a guidebook to write a description essay based on go to your post is declare suitable for use in the learning activities of grade 5 elementary school students.

Abstract

Every human being is gifted with the ability to write, writing skills still need to be developed so that a person's writing ability continues to improve. Like students, students' writing skills are still very lacking. Therefore, it needs to be trained continuously. This research aims to describe the influence of using the Wattpad application on the ability to write short stories of Indonesian language education students class of 2021. This research is a type of quantitative research. The method used is an experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The number of samples in this study was 25 people. This research was carried out on Indonesian Language Education (PBI) students class of 2021, specifically in class B. The results of the research showed that the average pretest was 72.04 and the average final test (posttest) was 94.30. This shows that the class of 2021 Indonesian language education students experienced improvement after implementing the Wattpad application in their ability to write short stories.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in school learning practices in Indonesia. The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to give educators the freedom to develop learning methods that suit students' needs, but its implementation faces various challenges. This research uses a literature review method by collecting data from various sources, such as journals, books and official documents. The research results show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a positive impact on learning flexibility and student character development. However, there are still obstacles such as teacher readiness, limited infrastructure, and lack of comprehensive training. To increase the effectiveness of this curriculum, a holistic approach is needed, such as increasing teacher competency, optimizing infrastructure, and integrating technology in learning. With proper evaluation, the Independent Curriculum can be a relevant solution to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

  Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menggiring manusia untuk selalu belajar terkait dengan keterbaruan yang ada. Salah satu pembaruan yang terjadi dalam pendidikan ialah dengan memanfaatkan digital yakni aplikasi ClassPoint dalam proses pembelajaran. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi ClassPoint dalam pada materi Novel kelas 12 yang membahas analisis unsur intrinsik. Penelitian termasuk ke dalam deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas XII Jurusan IPS adapun objek yang diteliti ialah proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi novel dalam analisis unsur intrinsik. Penelitian dilakukan di MA Negeri 1 Serang selama 2 minggu yang dilakukan di kelas XII IPS karena terhambatnya waktu penelitian maka peneliti memutuskan kelas XII IPS menjadi sampel. Penelitian berkaitan dengan implementasi ClassPoint sebagai media pembelajaran mencakup dua hal 1) media presentasi guru di kelas, 2) media penilaian dan evaluasi. Selain itu juga  penelitian meninjau kelebihan dan kekurangan ClassPoint dalam Pembelajaran novel. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian menunjukkan 84,19% hasil dari respon angket siswa kelas 12 IPS MA Negeri 1 Serang di mana siswa merasa puas dan termotivasi terkait penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi ClassPoint.  Selain itu, siswa juga merasa aktif di kelas dalam penggunaan aplikasi ClassPoint karena sangat mudah dipahami.

Abstract

The development of information technology has influenced all aspects of life, including the world of education. Information technology in the world of education is a necessity, one of which is the use of various learning applications. The aim of this research is to describe the use of live worksheet web-based E-LKPD in learning Indonesian on procedural text material. Researchers will describe how it is used, benefits, advantages, and challenges that may be faced in application. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach that focuses on the use of live worksheets as a learning medium for procedure text material for class IXC students at SMPN 5 Cibadak. The results of this research indicate that live worksheet web-based E-LKPD can increase student activity in learning procedural texts. Students look enthusiastic in watching and reading the material. Students actively discuss when working on group worksheets, actively work on individual worksheets, and formative assessments of procedural text material. Live worksheet web-based e-LKPD can increase students' interest in learning. Students feel happy when learning Indonesian using procedure text material. Web-based e-LKPD live worksheets can also improve understanding of procedural text material. This can be seen from the increase of the average score 13.20 points, it’s from 62.48 to 75.68.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, Kurikulum Merdeka hadir untuk menekankan pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi abad 21. Penelitian ini mengkaji adaptasi, kendala, dan capaian Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan percakapan dengan wakil kepala sekolah untuk kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada tantangan dalam penerapan kurikulum baru, seperti perlunya pelatihan guru dan sosialisasi orang tua, sekolah ini telah berhasil menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel yang berfokus pada pengembangan kepribadian siswa. Asesmen formatif dan sumatif diprioritaskan untuk evaluasi pembelajaran, mendukung pemahaman dan penerapan materi siswa. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum ini. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran bagi siswa di seluruh Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan dan praktik pembelajaran di Indonesia yang lebih efektif dan relevan.
