Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of the Paket C education program in SPNF-SKB Region I Padang city, it seen from the satisfying learning citizen test scores. The researcher suspected that the cause of the success of the Paket C program was because of the tutor’s andragogic competence. The purpose of this research is to describe the tutor’s andragogic competencies which are seen from the ability to motivate the learning population, explain the learning objectives, present the material with relevant methods, use tools, and learning media, create a conducive learning climate and respond to each respondent's learning. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this research were 50 peoples who studied the package C program. Samples were taken in 80% of the population that numbered 30 peoples using cluster random sampling method. The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire. While the data collection tool uses a list of statements (questionnaires). The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results showed that the tutor’s andragogic competence in implementation of learning in package C education which included abilities in: (1) motivating learning citizens were categorized very good, (2) explaining learning objectives were categorized good, (3) presenting material with relevant methods categorized very good, (4) using tools and learning media categorized good, (5) creating a conducive learning climate that is categorized very good and (6) responding to each respondent's learning is categorized very good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberhasilan Bank Sampah Hidayah menyelenggarakan pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik di Bank Sampah Hidayah Kelurahan Bandar Buat Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang, diduga karena strategi pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik yang dilakukan oleh Bank sampah Hidayah. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) strategi pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik di Bank Sampah Hidayah Kelurahan Bandar Buat Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang pada tahap peragaan sangat baik (2) strategi pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik di Bank Sampah Hidayah Kelurahan Bandar Buat Kecamatan lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang pada tahap peniruan sudah baik (3) strategi pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik di Bank Sampah Hidayah Kelurahan Bandar Buat Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang pada tahap praktik sudah baik (4) strategi pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik di Bank Sampah Hidayah Kelurahan Bandar Buat Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang pada tahap evaluasi sangat baik. Dari kesimpulan di atas, maka saran yang dapat disampaikan secara umum agar startegi pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tutor di lembaga bank sampah agar dapat dipertahankan dan lebih dikembangkan lagi ke depannya.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the high participation of graphic design training participants carried out by the Padang Data Training and Prima Institute. This was allegedly due to the interest of the trainees themselves. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all graphic design training participants in the Padang Prima Data Course and Training Institute, totaling 30 people. Samples were taken 75%, namely 22 people using cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. The tool in data collection is a list of written statements. Data analysis techniques use percentage calculations. The results of the study found that (1) the trainners had a very high feeling of participating in the neural design training (2) the trainees had a very high interest in attending the neural design training, and (3) the trainees had a very high awareness in participating in the training neural design. It is recommended to (1) trainees, in order to maintain interest in learning in graphic design training at Padang Data Prima Training and Course Institute; (2) instructor, in order to create a conducive social atmosphere in the learning process in graphic design training at Padang Data Prima Training Course and Institute.
