Abstract

Farmers certainly want a short and adequate time to collect their crops when the harvest season arrives. Such as durian farmers, most of them still use manual methods to harvest their agricultural products, even though there are already tools that can help make it easier when climbing trees. However, they still have risks because farmers still have to climb trees with tall tree branches, not to mention when the weather is not friendly and the trees are slippery due to rain. Of course, it is very risky to harvest agricultural products. The unmanned aerial vehicle will cut the stalks on the durian fruit with a circular blade-cutting mechanism. The blades are connected via a gear designed as a cutter capable of reaching the durian fruit stalk. The other motor that drives the cutting knife has been modified via the central controller to connect to the remote control so that the auxiliary motor on the cutting knife does not require a manual switch to turn it on. Using Quadcopter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Technology as a Durian Fruit Picker is a solution for durian farmers who have plantations with high tree branches. Drones can reach fruit at the tree's end with the added cutter module mechanism. This drone has effectiveness in terms of time which is better than picking durian fruit manually. The design of this cutter can be adjusted at speed to adjust the drone's flight stability.

Abstract

Video streaming is growing very rapidly nowadays, many people use it in their daily lives, especially since the pandemic, video streaming has become an important need. Video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex have become increasingly important in facilitating remote communications, allowing people to communicate, collaborate, and hold virtual meetings without geographic restrictions. This research uses the QoS method to analyze the comparison of service quality from video streaming such as Zoom, Cisco Webex and Google Meet. From the results of the research carried out, each video stream was assessed with QoS. The research carried out was by testing 3 applications, namely Zoom, Cisco Webex and Google Meet, the best results were obtained, namely Zoom with a Throughput value of 6685842, a Delay value of 47ms, a Jitter value of 47 ms and a Packet Loss value of 0.004%. The QoS method can be applied in comparative quality analysis in testing video streaming service applications.

Abstract

Purpose: The Population and Civil Registration Office is a governmental institution responsible for managing population administration in provinces or districts/cities. One of the tasks of the Population and Civil Registration Office is to provide services for death reporting, particularly in Pringsewu Regency. Currently, the death-reporting service system still operates manually. Methodology/approach: This challenge arises from the slowness of death-reporting services. Therefore, socialization regarding the protection of death certificates and the reporting of funeral registers has been conducted to facilitate and improve the reporting of funeral registers, especially in the administrative region of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Pringsewu Regency. The method used in the implementation of death certificates and funeral register reporting starts from the preparation stage, technical application guidance stage, and final stage, which involves affirming the commitment to implement the knowledge gained during the technical guidance process. Results/findings: This application was designed with a simple layout to facilitate the use of death certificate services and to report the main burial book. By entering relevant sections, users can directly access relevant applications. Limitations: In serving the community at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pringsewu Regency, there is a limitation, namely, the Funeral Register Reporting application is built based on a website platform that can be utilized across multiple platforms. Contribution: The contribution to community services involves designing, constructing, and directly implementing the Funeral Register Reporting application for relevant stakeholders in Pringsewu Regency. Consequently, the developed application proved to be highly beneficial and helpful for the stakeholders involved.

Abstract

Seiring dengan kemajuan zaman, kemajuan teknologi informasi juga semakin hari semakin berkembang dengan pesat. Perkembangan teknologi informasi ini, berdampak besar pada berbagai bidang kehidupan masyarakat baik dari segi sosial, ekonomi, pendidikan, pembangunan, maupun pariwisata. Kota Bandarlampung merupakan kota terbesar di Lampung. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah Kota Bandar Lampung dan pihak swasta bekerja sama untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas kotanya dengan menyediakan sarana publik seperti perhotelan. Dalam penelitian ini sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Metode sistem ini didasarkan pada konsep dimana alternatif terpilih yang terbaik hanya memiliki jarak terpendek dari solusi ideal positif, namun juga memiliki jarak terpanjang dari solusi ideal negatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjuukan bahwa semakin banyak jumlah data alternatif mempengaruhi hasil, semakin banyak data alternatif yang dimasukkan, semakin berbeda setiap alternatif akan mempengaruhi dan mempengaruhi hasil yang direkomendasikan sistem.

Abstract

The tourism industry's share of regional assets consists of tourist destinations that thelocals want to visit and that have the ability to make money and advance the growth of the area. Itis imperative that the quality of tourism services be preserved and enhanced. Positive remarks andrecommendations for the location are common among contented tourists. On the other hand,unhappy tourists may harm the reputation of the place and the travel sector as a whole.The research objective was to analyze visitor-level satisfaction with tourism services in Lanakilausing the C4.5 algorithm and identify the factors that most influence visitorsatisfaction. The C4.5 algorithm successfully built a prediction model to identify potentiallydissatisfied visitors.100 respondents completed the questionnaire that the researcher successfully distributed, and theaccuracy of the C4.5 model was 100.00%. Information service, staff attitude, food and beverage,and support were the four primary elements that were shown to have an impact on satisfaction,according to the analysis. Abstract

Background of study: The development of the food and beverage industry demands innovation in efficient and reliable packaging processes. Conventional cup sealing machines often face limitations in speed and precision, necessitating technology-based solutions. Aims and scope of paper: This objective of the study is to design and implement an automated cup sealer system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), using the NodeMCU ESP32, capable of performing sealing and real-time monitoring. The system integrates a flowmeter sensor to detect the presence of cups, a stepper motor for the sealing process, and an LCD display along with WiFi connectivity for monitoring production data. Methods: The methodology involves hardware design, control system programming, and performance testing of the device under various temperature and motor speed parameters. Result: The results show that the system can increase production efficiency by up to six times compared to the manual method, with a capacity of 300 cups per hour and a sealing success rate of 95% at an optimal temperature of 100°C and a motor speed of 10 RPM. Synchronization among components was enhanced through sensor calibration and algorithm development. Conclusion: In conclusion, this automated system not only improves efficiency and accuracy but also offers flexibility and IoT-based control, making it highly relevant for small and medium-sized industries.

Abstract

Pengelolaan data pendidikan yang akurat dan terintegrasi merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan dalam mendukung perumusan kebijakan dan pelaksanaan program pendidikan yang tepat sasaran, khususnya di tingkat daerah. Kabupaten Pringsewu sebagai salah satu kabupaten yang terus mengembangkan kualitas layanan pendidikan menghadapi tantangan dalam integrasi data antar jenjang pendidikan, kasus anak putus sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah aplikasi database sederhana namun efektif untuk mendata dan memantau informasi pendidikan pada jenjang PAUD, SD, SMP, serta anak-anak usia sekolah yang tidak lagi mengenyam pendidikan formal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan pengguna, pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web, pelatihan teknis kepada operator sekolah dan pegawai dinas, serta evaluasi penggunaan sistem. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan memiliki fitur input data siswa, data sekolah, pelaporan otomatis, dan pemantauan anak putus sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja operator sekolah dan memperkuat akurasi data pendidikan di tingkat daerah. Selain itu, aplikasi ini memberikan dukungan nyata bagi pemerintah daerah dalam menyusun kebijakan berbasis data (data-driven policy) terutama untuk intervensi pendidikan yang bersifat inklusif dan responsif. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model replikasi bagi daerah lain dan berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem informasi pendidikan lokal yang mandiri, berkelanjutan, dan berbasis kebutuhan nyata lapangan.
