Abstract

In the current era of globalization and technological advances, mastery of English is very important, but conventional teaching processes are still widely applied. There is a need to develop more interactive and effective learning media, especially for kindergarten children, which combines English and Indonesian. The aim of this research is to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) based application that can introduce the names of items and animals in two languages ​​(Indonesian and English) to kindergarten children. This application is designed to provide a fun and interactive learning alternative outside of school hours. Methodology: This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology, which includes the stages of Literature Study, Concept, Design, Material Collection, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. This application was developed using the Android platform with the application of Augmented Reality technology to display interactive 3D objects. Results: The application developed successfully met the needs of language learning and interactivity. Test results show that 89% of 37 users (kindergarten teachers and parents) involved in beta testing gave positive feedback to this application, confirming its effectiveness in supporting learning activities. This application offers a new learning method that can replace or complement conventional learning methods in a more interesting and interactive way. This not only supports dual language learning from an early age but also integrates the latest technology in education.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa SMK Cokroaminoto Wonasa Manado mengenai stress, serta pemahaman tentang manajemen stress pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Partisipan pengabdian berjumlah 11 Siswa, yang terdiri dari kelas XII SMK Cokroaminoto Wonasa. Tahap pengabdian terdiri dari persiapan, pelaksaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan pemahaman sebelum dan setelah materi manajemen stres diberikan. Pemahaman siswa mengenai manajemen stres mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan materi manajemen stres tersebut. Sehingga, pelatihan manajemen stres dianggap efektif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Pemahaman bahwa setiap karya tidak ada yang benar-benar mandiri. Kemudian pengetahuan untuk mengkaji bahwa setiap karya selalu mempunyai karya sastra lain sebagai landasan dalam penciptaan. Pembahasan ini mengungkap adanya bentuk-bentuk hipogram yang terdapat dalam novel BP melalui analisis struktur teks cerita berupa unsur alur, latar, tokoh, dan tema dengan karya sastra yang melatarbelakanginya yaitu novel CBT, CBM dan CSD. Dalam penciptaannya novel BP memiliki keterkaitan dengan realitas sosial, budaya dan unsur kesejarahannya. Keterkaitan tersebut menjadikan BP memiliki fungsi dan makna mengenai inovasinya terhadap unsur-unsur yang ada. Penegasian terhadaprealitas sosial mengenai pendidikan pada awal abad ke-20 di Bandung serta penegasian terhadap segala perbuatan buruk, sikap menerima setiap konsekuensi dari setiap perbuatan. Bentuk penegasan terhadap sastra anak sebagai media yang ideal untuk pendidikan, pembentukan, dan pengembangan karakter anak serta untuk menyampaikan pesan moral mengenai setiap tindakan akan mendapatkan konsekuensi.Kata Kunci: Samsoedi, Novel Anak, Intertekstual

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan ADF (acid detergent fiber) dan NDF (neutral detergent fiber) fermentasi pakan kombinasi jerami kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea), dedak padi dan rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 12 unit percobaan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu P1 : 60% rumput gajah + 35% jerami kacang tanah + 5% dedak padi, P2 : 60% rumput gajah + 30% jerami kacang tanah + 10% dedak padi, P3 : 60% rumput gajah + 25% jerami kacang tanah + 15% dedak padi, P4 : 60% rumput gajah + 20% jerami kacang tanah + 20% dedak padi. Berdasarkan hasil diketahui bahwa fermentasi pakan kombinasi jerami kacang tanah, dedak padi dan rumput gajah berpengaruh terhadap kandungan ADF  dan NDF. Perlakuan terbaik yaitu P4 dengan kandungan ADF (35.67%) dan NDF (44.98%) terendah di antara perlakuan lainnya.

Abstract

Agriculture plays a significant role in economic development and food security in Indonesia, including in Air Joman District, which has great agricultural potential. However, various challenges, such as low productivity and limited access to modern technology, hinder the development of this sector. The community service program by the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Asahan aims to enhance farmers' capacities through the implementation of sustainable agricultural technologies. The methods used include counseling and practice-based training, such as utilizing household waste to produce organic fertilizers. Results showed an 85% improvement in farmers' understanding and a 20% average increase in crop productivity. The use of organic fertilizers also reduced production costs by up to IDR 500,000 per planting season, improved soil fertility, and generated additional income for farmers. This program not only provided positive economic and environmental impacts but also contributed to the sustainability of the local ecosystem, making it a replicable model for empowering farmers in other regions.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture is a mandatory activity that combines the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education with the method of providing learning and work experience to students. KKN is also a vehicle for the application and development of science and technology which is carried out outside the campus within certain times, work mechanisms, and requirements. The real work lecture that has been held in Sindangprabu Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java during August 2022, with this Thematic Real Work Lecture is expected to help with the difficulties faced by the government, including in handling the development of villages in the Wanaraja sub-district, district Garut in an effort to increase the Human Development Index (IPM) of Garut and West Java. In general, the shift in the economic structure that occurred in Garut and West Java districts looks the same, namely the shift from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary. Garut's condition only relies on the agricultural sector, of course the economy so that, on its way to the industrialization transition area, Garut district really needs to build a foundation a strong economy, including creating human resources to increase village potential and independent industrial commodities or industries that make better use of domestic resources than imports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the right strategy that must be carried out by Cuanki Lidah in Mangkurayat Village, so that it can increase its competitiveness. The method used is the Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) analysis method. Respondents in this study were producers and sellers in the market. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling with a total of 20 respondents. The results of the study based on IFAS were 3.24 and EFAS were 0.45. This shows that the company's position is in quadrant 1 (aggressive strategy), so the strategy that must be carried out is to increase production capacity and utilize digital access in marketing, so that this Cuanki Lidah UMKM can increase its competitiveness.

Abstract

Damage to non-structural building elements, particularly walls, can serve as an early indicator of more serious structural issues. Manual crack identification is often time-consuming, subjective, and lacks consistency. This study develops an automated identification system based on computer vision using the YOLOv8 architecture, integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology through the ESP32-CAM device. The system is designed to visually detect and classify wall damage into light, moderate, or severe categories based on field-captured images. The model was trained and evaluated using the confusion matrix metric to assess its classification performance. The test results show that the system achieved a solid performance with an mAP@50 score of 0.822 and a stricter mAP@50-95 score of 0.522, indicating the system’s strong capability in detecting damage objects with a good level of precision. The implementation of this system is expected to support building inspection processes in a more standardized, objective, and sustainable manner, and assist in decision-making regarding building maintenance and repair.

Abstract

Studi ini mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi Teaching Factory (TEFA) dalam pembelajaran produktif dari perspektif guru kejuruan dan mengidentifikasi prioritas berbasis data untuk perbaikan pada tingkat butir soal. Survei potong lintang dilakukan terhadap 19 guru mata pelajaran produktif dari sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) negeri dan swasta di Jakarta yang telah menerapkan TEFA, menggunakan instrumen versi guru yang terdiri dari 31 butir soal tipe Likert (1–4) yang mencakup Produk (16 butir soal), Kompetensi Pedagogis (6 butir soal), dan Lulusan Siap Kerja (9 butir soal). Validitas isi telah ditetapkan selama pengembangan instrumen melalui tujuh penilai ahli, dengan semua butir soal melebihi ambang batas minimum Aiken’s V sebesar 0,76. Analisis mencakup rata-rata dan simpangan baku per dimensi dan per butir soal (diperingkat), interval kepercayaan 95% untuk rata-rata keseluruhan menggunakan uji t Student, dan alfa Cronbach untuk setiap dimensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata keseluruhan M = 3,63 (SD = 0,30, 95% CI [3,49, 3,77]), Produk M = 3,58 (SD = 0,34, ? = 0,88), Kompetensi Pedagogis M = 3,81 (SD = 0,26, ? = 0,65), dan Lulusan Siap Kerja M = 3,60 (SD = 0,39, ? = 0,88). Peringkat item menyoroti kekuatan dalam memahami dan menerapkan gambar, kepatuhan terhadap SOP, supervisi guru, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pengendalian mutu, sementara area dengan peringkat lebih rendah meliputi waktu penyelesaian, biaya (bahan/harga), dan pemecahan masalah teknis mandiri. Temuan ini menyiratkan penguatan SOP dan pengendalian mutu, pengaturan keseimbangan waktu takt/lini, perluasan peningkatan keterampilan berbasis industri dan penilaian autentik bagi guru, serta integrasi biaya dan pemecahan masalah teknis terstruktur ke dalam proyek TEFA untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti. ABSTRACTThis study evaluates the effectiveness of Teaching Factory (TEFA) implementation in productive learning from the perspective of vocational teachers and identifies data?driven priorities for improvement at the item level. A cross?sectional survey was conducted with 19 productive?subject teachers from public and private vocational high schools (SMK) in Jakarta that have implemented TEFA, using a teacher?version instrument comprising 31 Likert?type items (1–4) across Product (16 items), Pedagogical Competence (6 items), and Job?Ready Graduates (9 items). Content validity had been established during instrument development through seven expert raters, with all items exceeding the minimum Aiken’s V acceptance threshold of 0.76. Analyses included means and standard deviations by dimension and by item (ranked), a 95% confidence interval for the overall mean using Student’s t, and Cronbach’s alpha for each dimension. Results showed an overall mean of M = 3.63 (SD = 0.30, 95% CI [3.49, 3.77]), Product M = 3.58 (SD = 0.34, ? = 0.88), Pedagogical Competence M = 3.81 (SD = 0.26, ? = 0.65), and Job?Ready Graduates M = 3.60 (SD = 0.39, ? = 0.88). Item rankings highlight strengths in understanding and applying drawings, adherence to SOPs, teacher supervision, and student involvement in quality control, while lower?ranked areas include turnaround time, costing (materials/pricing), and independent technical problem?solving. The findings imply strengthening SOPs and quality control, arranging takt time/line balancing, expanding industry?based upskilling and authentic assessment for teachers, and integrating costing and structured technical problem?solving into TEFA projects to support evidence?based decision?making.
