Abstract

Pembelajaran Dasar-dasar Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) pada elemen Building Information Modelling (BIM) di SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping masih didominasi oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional yang menyebabkan partisipasi siswa rendah dan berdampak pada hasil belajar yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectually (SAVI) pada mata pelajaran Dasar-dasar DPIB elemen BIM. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas seluruh siswa kelas X DPIB pada satu kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif serta lembar penilaian praktik untuk mengukur hasil belajar psikomotor. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired t-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif maupun psikomotor. Nilai N-Gain hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 67% dan hasil belajar praktik sebesar 69%, yang keduanya berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran SAVI efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada elemen BIM di SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping.

Abstract

Kerusakan lapis aus pada perkerasan lentur masih menjadi persoalan penting di Indonesia karena beban lalu lintas berulang dan praktik overloading mempercepat deformasi permanen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis diferensiasi nilai Marshall Quotient (MQ) campuran Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC) yang menggunakan filler batu kapur Indarung dan Halaban, serta menilai kadar yang paling rasional berdasarkan keseimbangan parameter Marshall. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif melalui pengujian Marshall laboratorium pada variasi kadar filler 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 11%, dan 12%, masing-masing dengan tiga benda uji. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi VIM, VMA, VFB, stabilitas, flow, dan MQ, kemudian dibandingkan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar filler cenderung menaikkan stabilitas dan MQ, tetapi menurunkan flow, VIM, dan VMA. Semua nilai MQ memenuhi batas minimum HRS-WC, yaitu 150 kg/mm. Secara deskriptif, batu kapur Halaban menghasilkan MQ lebih tinggi pada kadar 6%-10%, sedangkan batu kapur Indarung lebih tinggi pada kadar 11%-12%. Namun, uji Mann-Whitney U menunjukkan nilai signifikansi MQ sebesar 0,848, sehingga perbedaan sumber filler tidak signifikan secara statistik. Secara kritis, temuan ini menegaskan bahwa MQ tidak boleh ditafsirkan terpisah dari parameter volumetrik; kadar optimum perlu mempertimbangkan stabilitas, deformasi, dan ruang rongga secara simultan. Filler batu kapur asal Indarung pada kadar 9% dan filler batu kapur asal Halaban pada kadar 8% merupakan komposisi yang layak berdasarkan pemenuhan parameter spesifikasi Marshall, dengan filler batu kapur asal Indarung pada kadar 9% lebih aman dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi teknis. Damage to the wearing course layer in flexible pavements remains a major issue in Indonesia because repeated traffic loads and overloading practices accelerate permanent deformation. This study aimed to analyze the differentiation of Marshall Quotient (MQ) values in Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC) mixtures using Indarung and Halaban limestone fillers and to determine the most rational filler content based on the balance of Marshall parameters. The study applied a comparative quantitative approach through laboratory Marshall testing on filler content variations of 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 11%, and 12%, with three specimens prepared for each variation. The analyzed parameters included Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB), stability, flow, and MQ, which were then compared using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that increasing filler content tended to increase stability and MQ values while decreasing flow, VIM, and VMA values. All MQ values satisfied the minimum HRS-WC specification requirement of 150 kg/mm. Descriptively, Halaban limestone filler produced higher MQ values at filler contents of 6%-10%, whereas Indarung limestone filler produced higher MQ values at 11%-12%. However, the Mann-Whitney U test showed an MQ significance value of 0.848, indicating that the difference between filler sources was not statistically significant. Critically, these findings confirm that MQ should not be interpreted separately from volumetric parameters; the optimum filler content must simultaneously consider stability, deformation resistance, and void characteristics. Indarung limestone filler at 9% and Halaban limestone filler at 8% were considered feasible compositions based on Marshall specification compliance, with Indarung limestone filler at 9% being the safer technical recommendation.

Abstract

Numeracy skills are essential for developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. However, the 2023 National Assessment results show that students at SDN 20 Sinapa Piliang, Solok City, achieved only moderate numeracy scores (58.75%), below the national average. To address this, lecturers and students from Universitas Negeri Padang conducted a community service program in August 2025, training elementary school teachers to apply Game-Based Learning (GBL). The program included socialization of GBL concepts, training to create numeracy game media, classroom simulations, and evaluation. Teachers were introduced to number-operation cards, traditional games, and the Kahoot digital platform as interactive teaching tools. The program improved teachers’ understanding of GBL principles and their ability to adapt games in their teaching. Teachers also showed strong enthusiasm to apply the methods, suggesting digital game development and implementing them in class. This program is expected to support the improvement of students’ numeracy skills through more engaging and innovative learning practices.

Abstract

Teachers cannot reach all the students in the class. This results in a significant difference in value between the most intelligent and least intelligent students on elements of Cost Planning and Building Construction Scheduling. This difference in scores is a factor in selecting peer teaching learning methods. This research was conducted to determine how effective peer teaching to improving student learning results in elements of Cost Planning and Building Construction Scheduling. The type of research used is experimental research with a non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design model. The number of samples used was 36 people: 18 students of class XI DPIB 1 who acted for the control class and 18 students of class XI DPIB 2 who acted for the experimental class. The experimental class uses a peer tutor teaching approach. The research was conducted by providing test instruments in the form of a pretest and posttest which were first tested on 26 class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. The average of student learning results in the experimental class was 92.17 and the control class was 47.89. Student learning results appear to be better than the average comparison of the two classes in this study. Hypothesis testing used the Mann Whitney U-Test which found that Asymp.Sig < 0.05 and 0.000 < 0.05. So, from hypothesis testing it is stated that peer teaching is effective in improving student learning results in the Elements of Cost Planning and Building Construction Scheduling.
