Abstract

PT. Socfindo is a company that has many employees, should pay more attention to how much workload is given to its employees so they can carry out their work optimally. Workload that can be measured on employees includes physical workload and mental workload. The measurement method used is the Cardiovascular Load (CVL) for physical workload. Cardiovascular load is a method to determine the level of work fatigue. Data collection for physical workload was carried out by measuring the pulse using the 10 pulse method, and determining the %CVL results. The average working heart rate/minute for employee A is 105 while employee B's average working heart rate/minute is 106, based on the results of the calculation analysis for %CVL between 34% - 36%, so that the risk of work fatigue occurs and is in the moderate category. It can be concluded that the workload of employees needs improvement so that work fatigue does not occur so there is no risk of injury to the employee's body parts.

Abstract

PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari is a nautical product manufacturer based in the Lampulo fishing port, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Productivity is a comparison of input and output that indicates how effectively resources are managed and exploited to obtain the best results. High production means there is less likelihood of delays. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari's productivity achievement indicator values fluctuate annually, with some years seeing low or high production.  The purpose of this study is to identify productivity-influencing elements, as well as to estimate the level of labor productivity, production amount, total productivity, and the difference in production amount when processing tuna cubes at PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari. This study examines monthly production data from 2023 to determine worker productivity and output. The method is to measure partial and total productivity and then launch monthly productivity changes. The study's findings demonstrate that labor productivity and tuna cube output are higher than number one, indicating productive performance. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari met its production objective of 350 kg per month, with an average total labour productivity of 2.6%. This study advises that firms maintain production consistency and form a network of collaborating partners to ensure raw material availability.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in rural areas. Digitalization of Independent Villages emerged as a solution to encourage village independence through the use of digital technology. The main aim of this digitalization is to improve the quality of life of village communities, improve access to public services, and encourage local economic growth. This article discusses various important aspects of the Mandiri Village digitalization program, including development of technological infrastructure, development of village information systems, digital literacy training, and digital marketing for local products. The implementation of digitalization in Leukeun Village has shown positive results, such as improving technological infrastructure, efficiency of public services, empowering the local economy, and increasing community digital literacy. Despite facing challenges such as limited funding and low digital literacy, collaboration with external parties and sustainable development strategies can overcome these obstacles. Digitalization of Mandiri Village is not just the application of technology, but also creates positive and sustainable changes for village communities. This article aims to develop Leukeun Mandiri Village based on digital concepts by considering internal and external potential through inclusive and integrated solutions.

Abstract

Community service activities are a medium for delivering science and technology to the community. This community service is carried out by a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Teuku Umar University. The theme of this community service is the importance of promoting schools in order to increase the number of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community service is to provide an overview to the foundation about the importance of introducing the profile of the foundation to the surrounding community, and as an effort to increase the number of new students at the Makmue Raya Foundation. Participants in this community service are foundation administrators, teachers and students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) under the auspices of the Makmue Raya foundation, totaling 83 people. Community service participants participated in the socialization in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers about the importance of school promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic. The output of this community service is as basic knowledge about school promotion to foundations, and can introduce school promotion methods during the covid-19 pandemic to foundations.

Abstract

Pembuatan kapal adalah proses manufaktur multi-tahap dengan berbagai sumber yang khas dengan fungsi kompleks dan membutuhkan kualitas konstruksi yang tinggi. Beberapa hal penting dalam pengendalian kualitas pembuatan kapal seperti perencanaan pada desain kapal, material yang digunakan, dan metode pengendalian kualitas. Era globalisasi menuntut industri galangan kapal terus meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pada proses produksinya, sehingga mampu bersaing dari segi quality, cost dan on time delivery (QCD). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui berbagai metode pengendalian kualitas pada proses manufaktur kapal diberbagai negara di dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sistematik kajian literatur dari berbagai artikel yang telah terbit yang kemudian diidentifikasi dan di analisis yang berfokus pada berbagai metode pengendalian kualitas pada proses manufaktur kapal. Beberapa metode diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pencarian, diantaranya adalah function-oriented quality control (FOQC), quantitative evaluation method, artificial intelligence, toyota production system (TPS), tacheometer sensors, design point generation method, dimensional & accuracy control automation, a differentiation-based approach, computer-based applications, statistical process control (SPC), inspection test plan (ITP), multi-layer quality function deployment (QFD). Industri perkapalan akan terus menghadapi berbagai tantangan di masa depan, termasuk persaingan global yang semakin ketat, tuntutan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas, serta perubahan teknologi.

Abstract

ndustri galangan kapal tradisional berperan penting dalam sektor maritim, namun masih menghadapi tantangan terkait keselamatan kerja akibat minimnya penerapan standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja melalui program edukasi dan implementasi standar K3, guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan produktif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan dan potensi risiko di lingkungan kerja galangan kapal, penyelenggaraan pelatihan pekerja yang komprehensif dan manajemen pentingnya standar K3, termasuk penggunaan alat pelindung diri, prosedur evakuasi, manajemen risiko, serta pendampingan penerapan prosedur keselamatan kerja, mulai dari penyusunan kebijakan hingga evaluasi pelaksanaannya. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tiga aspek utama yaitu kesadaran pekerja terhadap pentingnya keselamatan kerja, dengan indikator meningkatnya penggunaan APD dan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur keselamatan, penurunan potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja sebesar 35%, berdasarkan analisis data kecelakaan selama enam bulan setelah implementasi, penguatan budaya keselamatan kerja melalui pembentukan tim K3 internal yang mengawasi pelaksanaan standar secara berkelanjutan. Program ini memberikan manfaat langsung berupa pengurangan kecelakaan kerja, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas dan efisiensi operasional galangan kapal tradisional. Dengan edukasi dan implementasi standar K3 berkelanjutan, diharapkan industri galangan kapal tradisional mampu mengurangi risiko kerja, meningkatkan daya saing, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih sehat, aman, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

 UD Donat Asri merupakan salah satu tempat usaha di bidang pembuatan roti, pada pengolahan roti masih adanya keluhan muskuloskeletal  disorders  yang  dialami oleh operator sehingga masih  ada  postur  kerja  operator  yang  kurang ergonomi serta kurangnya  fasilitas  kerja  yang  mendukung  operator  untuk  melakukan aktivitas kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi keluhan muskuloskeletal disorders yang dialami pekerja pengolahan roti dengan menggunakan Nordic Body Map, dan merancang fasilitas kerja yang ergonomis. metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode REBA untuk menentukan  nilai  postur  kerja  operator dengan bantuan Software Ergofellow. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan data tingkat keluhan yang dialami oleh pekerja saat melakukan proses pengolahan roti berdasarkan NBM, keluhan terbesar pada bagian tubuh yaitu sebesar 79,17%, dan keluhan terkecil pada bagian tubuh dengan persentase 33,33%, sedangkan persentase keluhan yang dialami oleh pekerja pengolahan roti berdasarkan NBM menunjukan bahwa  keluhan yang paling  tinggi  yaitu  pada  stasiun  penggorengan persentase  72,30%,  persentase   terendah   yaitu   pada   stasiun   pengemasan  sebesar 48,21%. Penilaian postur kerja dengan software Ergofellow memperoleh skor REBA tertinggi adalah pada posisi kerja 5 yaitu pada aktivitas penggorengan roti dengan  nilai  skor  sebesar  11  dan  dikategorikan  kedalam  action  level sedangkan skor REBA terendah yaitu pada posisi kerja 4 pada aktivitas pembulatan adonan dengan skor REBA sebesar 4 dan dikategorikan ke dalam action level berdasarkan  perhitungan  antropometri  dengan persentil 50 rata-rata yang mana panjang meja yaitu 160 cm, lebar meja kerja persentil 50 rata-rata yang mana lebar meja yaitu 79 cm, tinggi meja kerja persentil 50 rata-rata sehingga didapat urutan tinggi meja yaitu 103 cm sedangkan tinggi  fasilitas kerja  dengan persentil 50 rata-rata sehingga tinggi fasilitas kerja yaitu  150 cm.  Berdasarkan ukuran tersebut  fasilitas  yang  dirancang  sudah ergonomi   karena   menggunakan   penerapan   antropometri   tubuh  pekerja sehingga dapat bekerja dengan nyaman.

Abstract

Kegiatan penelitian membutuhkan jawaban akhir yang harus dapat dipercaya kebenarannya. Untuk mendapatkan kebenaran ilmiah, perlu pengkajian ilmu pengetahuan yang berkenaan dengan kejelasan obyek materi sesuai metode yang sesuai dengan kaidah yang relevan dan tersistem. Dalam penulisan ini, pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penelitian pustaka (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga teori untuk menentukan kebenaran, yaitu teori koherensi, korespondensi dan paragmatisme. Teori koherensi adalah konsisten atau tidak akan bertentangan suatu pernyataan yang baru dengan pernyataan sebelumnya. Teori korespondensi adalah teori yang berdasarkan pada fakta yang obyektif, yaitu sebuah pertanyaan akan benar jika pernyataan tersebut berhubungan dengan fakta obyektif yang ada. Teori pragmatisme dinyatakan sebagai pernyataan yang dianggap benar jika pernyataan ataupun konsekuensinya akan memberikan manfaat praktis bagi manusia. Ketiga teori-teori kebenaran tersebut cenderung untuk saling menyempurnakan daripada saling bertentangan, dalam menentukan suatu kesimpulan kegiatan penelitian.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity of investment in the rejuvenation of smallholder oil palm plantations in Lungmane Village, Kuala Pesisir Subdistrict, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province, amidst the problem of declining Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) productivity due to aging trees. The research method used is quantitative analysis with investment criteria of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), and Payback Period (PP), as well as sensitivity analysis to changes in FFB prices. The results of the analysis show that the rejuvenation project for smallholder oil palm plantations in Lungmane Village is financially feasible based on positive NPV, IRR, Net B/C, and Payback Period indicators. However, the sensitivity analysis reveals that the project's feasibility is highly influenced by fluctuations in FFB prices, where a price decrease of up to 70% can render the project unfeasible. This study concludes that although the rejuvenation of smallholder oil palm plantations in Lungmane Village has good financial prospects, farmers need to be aware of the risk of declining FFB prices.

Abstract

West Aceh has great natural resource potential, but land utilization is still low due to limited infrastructure, low land management skills, and social and environmental factors. This program proposes the industrialization of Gamal plants (Gliricidia sepium) as a solution to optimize marginal land. Gamal plants are chosen because of their adaptive, multifunctional nature, and ability to increase soil fertility naturally. This service uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Community-Based Empowerment approaches and is carried out in Teupin Panah Village, Kaway XVI District, West Aceh, as a pilot project. Activities include socialization, cultivation training, and distribution of Gamal seeds. The results of the activities show that Gamal cultivation can increase the utilization of idle land, provide alternative sources of animal feed, produce bioenergy, and improve environmental quality. The economic value of this cultivation is potential, with an income of up to IDR 45 million per hectare per year. This program also increases local communities' awareness and skills in sustainable land management.
