This research aims to understand and explain Arts and Culture Learning at the UNP Laboratory Development Middle School. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Researchers act as the main instrument, supported by tools such as stationery, cameras and cellphones. Data collection was carried out through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes steps such as collection, classification, clarification, analysis, description, and conclusion. The research results show that at the learning planning stage, not all aspects follow the teaching module guidelines according to independent curriculum standards, so that the implementation of learning is not optimal. The learning methods and strategies applied by teachers are not in line with learning achievements and the flow of learning objectives which are monitored through formative assessments in the independent curriculum. The mismatch between the material in the teaching module and what is delivered as well as the lack of teacher involvement in students' practical piano playing training produces negative impacts. Furthermore, teachers do not carry out enrichment or remedial work based on the practical value of playing musical instruments, so that summative assessments cannot function as an evaluation tool to assess the achievement of learning outcomes in practicing playing musical instruments by students.

This study aims to describe the implementation of music ensemble learning in class XI Science 3 at MAN 2 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The instruments in this study are the researchers themselves and are assisted by supporting instruments in the form of stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, identifying data, classifying data, describing data and inferring data. The results showed that in learning music ensembles in class XI Science 3 at MAN 2 Padang, teachers only focused on presenting pianica ensemble music. In the implementation of this ensemble music learning, teachers conduct learning not in accordance with the RPP (Learning Implementation Design) that has been made. However, the RPP made is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. Ensemble music learning in class XI Science 3 at MAN 2 Padang went well. Although teachers lack mastery in the art of music, teachers can condition learning by providing simple practical materials to students and teachers also use peer tutor methods so that the learning of this ensemble music runs well.

This study aims to determine students' interest in extracurricular singing at SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Sikaping and what factors influence students' interest in participating in extracurricular singing activities at SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Sikaping. The research method applied in this study is a descriptive approach in the form of qualitative research. The tools used in this study are the researchers themselves who are actively involved in making direct observations in the field as the main method for collecting data. The data used consists of primary and secondary data, which are collected through observation, interviews, literature studies, and document collection. The data analysis process involves the stage of clarification and conclusion of data. Research findings show that the implementation of extracurricular singing at SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Sikaping which is carried out for the readiness of singing lompa such as FLS2N and other singing competitions has been successfully carried out well, but there are several obstacles in its implementation not in accordance with the activity program so that extracurricular implementation is still less effective. In terms of the approach applied, the teacher has chosen a method that matches the content of the material. However, because cultural arts teachers are teachers who are not competent in the field of music. So that during extracurricular singing implementation, teachers are less able to know singing techniques. Students who follow become less serious when extracurricular activities take place. Therefore, the achievement of the success rate in the implementation of extracurricular singing activities at SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Sikaping has not been achieved.

The purpose of this study describes Cultural Arts Learning (Theater) in class XI social studies 1 SMA Pertiti 1 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning process was in accordance with the rpp designed but the student score results were still unsatisfactory so that teachers were still remedial to meet the completeness of student scores. Students feel that learning cultural arts is monotonous only by the lecture method and working on student worksheets, so students feel varied when given media such as watching the learning videos given. The implementation of Cultural Arts (Theater) learning using learning media in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang greatly affects student learning so that supporting will also increase participation, interest in learning and learning outcomes of cultural arts (theater) in class XI IPS 1 even though students have not been able to display the results of modern theater dramas in accordance with established techniques. The implementation of learning can run well and students get grades according to what they do during the learning process.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran musik talempong pacik di kelas X IPA-1SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri alat tulis dan kamera. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data adalah mengklasifikasi data, mengklarifikasi data, menganalisis data, mendeskripsikan data dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanakan pembelajaran tidak sesuai dengan RPP yang sudah direncanakan di karenakan alat peraga pembelajaran yang disediakan oleh sekolah kurang memadai dalam pembelajaran dan guru juga terlihat kekurangan waktu dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta dalam pembelajaran lebih ke metode ceramah guru terbatas dalam penggunaan alat peraga dan keterbatasan waktu dalam kegiatan praktek sehingga pembelajaran musik talempong pacik tidak dapat di praktekkan secara tuntas. Proses pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya mendapatkan hasil belajar yang memuaskan, guru terbatas dalam penggunaan alat peraga dan keterbatasan waktu dalam kegiatan praktek, guru terus berupaya memberikan nilai yang terbaik kepada peserta didik, agar peserta didik terus bersemangat dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran, peserta didik masih terlihat kaku dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran termasuk dalam proses kegiatan praktek pembelajar musik tradisional, sehingga masih banyak nilai peserta didik di bawah KKM, dan selebihnya hanya mecapai batasan KKM. Maka diketahui bahwa peserta didik belum mendapatkan hasil nilai yang maksimal.

Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The steps in analyzing the data are classifying, clarifying, analyzing, and describing the data. The results of the research that has been done show that the implementation of cultural arts learning with western music material at MAN 3 Padang City has not been carried out in accordance with the RPP.

Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The steps in analyzing data are data collection, identifying data, classifying data, clarifying and inferring data. The results showed that the implementation of Cultural Arts learning at SMA Negeri 3 Padang had been carried out well, but there were several things in its implementation that were not in accordance with the teaching module so that the implementation of learning was still ineffective. In terms of the learning method used, the teacher has used a learning method that is in accordance with the material. However, when the teacher practiced the example of singing a popular Indonesian song, namely Anji's song entitled "Menunggu Kamu", the teacher did not use musical instruments such as guitars or keyboards as accompaniment because the teacher was less able to play musical instruments. In learning, students are very excited to participate in learning to sing popular songs in Indonesian or popular songs in foreign languages even though students are still embarrassed to appear singing in front of the class.

This study intends to describe how the process of implementing extracurricular drumband at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Anai. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The instruments in this study are the researchers themselves and assisted by other instruments such as stationery, cameras and voice recorders. This research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The steps to analyze data in this study are collecting data, identifying and concluding. The results obtained in the study were to recruit Drumband members and the trainer did not make a selection first. As a result of gaps or imbalances in instrument selection, students prefer percussion instruments compared to melodic instruments. In the process of extracurricular implementation, this drumband activity at SMPN 1 Batang Anai is carried out once a week and the activities of each meeting are the same, it's just the difference in the material of the song you want to learn. The schedule in this extracurricular activity is carried out on Monday, namely in order to evaluate the flag ceremony activities in the morning. However, there is an additional jawdal if there is a training activity if it accompanies the parade and accompanies the teacher's day ceremony.

This study aims to determine and describe the Learning of Cultural Arts (Tari) at the State High School 7 Tanjung Jabung West. The type of research used in this research is qualitative using the descriptive method. The subject of this study was Cultural Arts and students in the XI IPS-A State High School 7 Tanjung Jabung West. While the object in this study is Cultural Arts Learning for students of XII IPS-A at the State Senior High School 7 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The types used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Research instruments in this study were its own researchers or human instruments assisted by some tools to collect data, including stationery and notebooks and ynag cameras are useful to take gamber. Data collection techniques in this study are observations, interviews, documentation and literature studies.Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded that the learning process is quite satisfying by RPP, designed and the results of students’ grades are quite satisfying. However, students feel monotonous learning for teaching methods only by preaching methods, students tend to understand materials independently and worksheets of students, so that they need to be given innovation when given media such as watching learning videos to increase students’ learning motivations to be more effective and attractive.
