Abstract

AbstractThis study was based on research finding that there were blind children who were talented in singing at SLB Wacana Asih Padang. Therefore, this study was done for the purpose of self-development activities of singing on blind children in SLB Wacana Asih Padang in order to expressed a description of actualizing, phenomenon background, social reality, and perceptions of research target. This study was classified as qualitative research which used descriptive approach. Instruments in this study were the researchers  Techniques of data collection were done by using observation, interview, documentation and libarary research. Result of this research showed that students could develop and express themeselves in distributing their interest and talent. In the purpose of its implementation psychologically, they were directed to have the confidence and bravery to speak and move, and have the feeling that they wereaqualwith the normal children. In the implementation ofself- development of singing, teachers should apply the method of imitation i.e. the way of presentation of lessons where teachers gave, so the students could practice and recite the words of the song lyric continuously. Keywords: Self-Development; Blind Children.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the pedagogic ability of teachers in cultural arts learning in SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci Jambi Province with the target of research were two culture arts teachers who teach Cultural Arts in the school. The method used in this research was qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. While the object of research was the ability of teachers to implement KBM (Teaching and Learning Activities) in class X and XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci. The research instruments used were observation records, interview notes, documentation studies, and questionnaires to support data collection activities with observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and asking for students' responses. The results of the study describe the pedagogical ability of teachers in implementing the KBM, where the ability arises from the knowledge, experience, and talent in teaching which more determine the ability to teach the teachers than mere teachers who only seen from the suitability of educational background. Students of SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci have proved that Ms Mega Silvia has better pedagogic competence than Mr Herman Saidi, although Ms Mega Silvia is not an art diploma background but has a willingness and talent in implementing learning in class.

Abstract

This study aims to find and describe the effect of Orgen Tunggal performance on the existence of Rabab Pasisiain Kambang Village, Lengayang District, South Pesisir Regency. This is a qualitative research using a descriptivemethod. The main instrument in this study was the researcher it self and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The steps for analyzing the data are collecting the data, describing the data, and making conclusions. The results show that Orgen Tunggal performance can affect the existence of Rabab Pasisia in Kambang Village community, Lengayang District, South Pesisir Regency. Nowadays, people no longer understand the messages contained in Rabab, and Rababis viewed as entertainment only. There are factors which influence the existence of RababPasisia. Internally, the community more likely enjoys Orgen Tunggal. The people no longer understand the education value in Rabab, so it makes Rabab Pasisia unattractive. Externally, modernization and globalization rises. The existence of Orgen Tunggal which is increasingly popular in the community of KambangVillage, Lengayang District, affects the existence of Rabab as traditional entertainment which has moral messages.Gradually it also affects the intensity of Rabab performance on the community who enjoys Rabab, on messages Rabab delivers, on the existence of Rabab, and on the performance of Rabab. Rabab undergoes a few updates so that it still exists and is favored by the community. One of which is a form of Raun Sabalik which has pleasant rhythms.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of learning music pianika using peer tutors in Class VII.5 at 5 SMP Negeri 9 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves and assisted with the instrument's supporters such as stationery and photo cameras. Types of data using primary data and secondary data. The technique of data collection is done by way of observation, interview, documentation and study of the literature. Stages of analyzing data is grouped data, clarifying data and describes the data. The results showed that Learning pianika, using the method of Peer Tutors SMP Negeri 9 Padang Kelas VII.5 already carried out in accordance with what is expected. Results achieved students from daily value 95% student satisfaction in learning material pianika and also can we compare with the results of student learning using conventional methods before learning the results with only 70%. Art Learning culture can be summed up with a peer tutor methods approach with the basic concept of the game a simple musical instrument individually very precisely made.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the online learning implementation of Cultures dan Arts at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself as the main instrument and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cellphones. The data were collected through observation, interview, literature study, and document study. Types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data were processed by collecting the data, classifying the data, analyzing the data, describing the data, and drawing the conclusion. The results show that the online learning implementation of Cultures and Arts subject of music material in class VIII. A at SMP Negeri 8 Padang is constrained by distance so that the quality of learning result is not optimal. The lesson plan made still refers to the old one, namely RPP Semester Juli - December 2019. The online learning of Cultures and Arts, at SMP Negeri 8 Padang, under the topic of  styles and techniques in singing traditional songs does not work effectively. In this online learning, several problems were found. For instance, the teacher was unable to directly monitor students who actually attended the lesson, and some students did not understand the material provided by the teacher. As a conclusion, an adjustment from both the teacher and students is needed so that the learning objectives can be achieved as expected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe how the creation of talempong training at Sanggar Saandiko Bukittinggi. The type of research conducted is qualitative research, with the object of research being members of Sanggar Saandiko Bukittinggi. The data collected in this study were in the form of written data, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the target of talempong creation training was at Sanggar Saandiko, so it can be concluded that in the training process the trainers managed to provide good training using the lecture method, demonstration method, and practice method/ drill. To achieve the goal of producing and developing creative talent, of course, to be even better, the trainer continues to provide a training process for studio members so that the abilities obtained continue to increase.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to know the education values  of the Dampeang tradition on the art of Luambek in Nagari Lubuak Pandan Lareh Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This study was qualitative with descriptive method. Instrument in this study was the researcher and assisted by some tools such as stationery, camera and audio recorder. Technique of data collection was done by doing observation, interviews, library research and documentation.Dampeang is the art of the vocal which has connection tightly toward the art of Luambek, every motion made by Paluambek taking the plot of Dampeang. Results of this study showed that there were number of the education values of Dampeang on the art of Luambek which could be used in daily life either individually or socially. The education values of it were value of ethics education, discipline, social studies, religious education and political education. Keywords: Education, Dampeang Tradition, Art Luambek.

Abstract

Abstract  This article aims to describe how the extratracular activities conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. Extracurricular is an additional activity for students who are held outside the appointed hours of instruction. The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive method. The object of this research is the process of extracurricular activities of gandang tambua in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The main instrument is the researcher. This study uses several tools in the field data collection such as stationery and photo cameras. For data collection the authors do literature study, observation and interviews. The results showed that the implementation of extracurricular gandang tambua in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman done by forming a group of each group consisting of 5orang students, where the training process carried out practically in the room and outside the classroom . To explore the ability that the students themselves in playing the gandang tambua musical instrument, the teacher schedules 7 meetings. Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know the implementation and application of ADP technique in learning talempong pacik on arts and cultures subject in the second semester, class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Painan. This research was classified to applied research. Instrument in this study was the researcher itself assisted by stationery, camera and audio recorder. The techniques of data collection used were observation, interviews, document study and documentation. The results of this study showed that in applying ADP technique, the students were asked to present the play of Talempong Pacik during three meetings. The points assessed in that performance were presentation, harmony, and technique. After the implementation of ADP technique, the teacher got results from their score in that presentation, teachers found students who were less familiar and understood about playing talempong pacik, and about 80% of the students understood. ADP techniques really helped the learners to understand how to play talempong pacik  in short time, i.e. three meetings. Keywords: ADP Technique, Talempong Pacik
