Abstract

Purpose of this research is descriptive the conversational implicatures contained in the utterances between characters in the novel Antologi Rasa by Ika Natassa,  and then implactions result of the research for Indonesian language learning in high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is conversation between characters in the novel Antologi Rasa by Ika Natassa, The data collection technique was carried out documentation techniques and note-taking techniques. The results showed that there were 27 conversational implicature data. The forms of conversational implicatures found consisted of (1) implicatures with 13 data of informing mode, (2) 7 data of implicatures with asking mode, and (3) 7 data of implicatures with fact-stating mode. The results of the study can be implicated in learning Indonesian in high school in novel text novel.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implikatur percakapan yang terdapat dalam tuturan anatartokoh dalam novel Antologi Rasa karya Ika Natassa dan mengimplikasikan hasil penelitian  terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah percakapan antartokoh dalam novel Antologi Rasa karya Ika Natassa, Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 27 data implikatur percakapan. Bentuk implikatur percakapan yang ditemukan terdiri atas (1) implikatur dengan modus menginformasikan sebanyak 13 data, (2) implikatur dengan modus bertanya sebanyak 7 data, dan (3) implikatur dengan modus menyatakan fakta sebanyak 7 data. Penelitian dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA dalam materi teks novel. Keywords: implicature, mode, novel, and implicationDOI Artikel: https://doi.org/10.23960/J-Simbol/v11i1.2023.04

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan kepenulisan karya ilmiah untuk siswa SMA di Kota Bandar Lampung ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan kepenulisan dan kebahasaan, (2) meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan umum dan kebahasaan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah di kalangan siswa SMA di Kota Bandar Lampung Adanya pelatihan peningkatan keterampilan menulis ilmiah ini diharapkan menumbuhkan motivasi dan meningkatkan semangat para peserta untuk menuliskan berbagai sumber ilham menjadi karya ilmiah. Motivasi ini dapat tumbuh di antaranya disebabkan adanya jumpa penulis, di mana mereka bisa merasakan senangnya menjadi seorang penulis. Mereka pun semakin yakin bahwa siapa saja yang bersungguh-sungguh bisa menjadi seorang penulis. Selain itu, para peserta juga memperoleh gambaran tentang prosedur mempublikasikan karya ke berbagai media cetak mau pun digital.   This scientific paper writing training activity for high school students in Bandar Lampung City aims to: (1) increase writing and linguistic knowledge and (2) improve the ability to write scientific papers. This activity has increased general knowledge and language and increased the ability to write scientific papers among high school students in Bandar Lampung City. The training to improve scientific writing skills is expected to foster motivation and increase the enthusiasm of the participants to write various sources of inspiration into scientific work. This motivation can grow partly due to the writer's meeting, where they can feel the joy of being a writer. They are also increasingly convinced that anyone serious can become a writer. In addition, the participants also received an overview of the procedures for publishing their work in various print and digital media.

Abstract

Education is something that cannot be separated in human life. Likewise, parenting patterns for children's growth and development are very decisive for their growth and development, especially in shaping the personality of children who have high motivation. This is because parents are the first environment for children so that the child's personality depends on their upbringing. The research method used is qualitative, it is intended to know clearly in analyzing natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. While the data analysis technique used is a data triangulation technique in the form of a merging technique which is carried out using detailed analysis of the research subject. The result of this research is that there is an effect of parenting style on students' learning motivation in class. 4) In the text "Serat Wedhatama IV" contains religious character education who lives based on Islamic principles.

Abstract

Bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi selalu digunakan manusia dalam setiap aktivitas sosialnya. Dalam proses berkomunikasi tersebut, seseorang cenderung akan menghadapi kendala-kendala yang menyebabkan komunikasi tidak berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan Untuk menghilangkan kendala dalam komunikasi tersebut, penutur dan mitra tutur dituntut untuk menyadari bahwa ada kaidah-kaidah kebahasaan yang harus ditaatinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam wacana komunikasi keluarga Jawa di Kelurahan Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data penelitian berwujud tuturan percakapan di lingkungan keluarga Jawa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak-rekam-catat. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan teknik interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam wacana komunikasi keluarga umumnya selalu mematuhi prinsip kerja sama. Pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kerja sama juga ditemukan dalam wacana komunikasi keluarga tapi tidak mendominasi. Pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kerja sama adakalanya dilakukan secara sengaja untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan lain dalam konteks yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the problem of low reading comprehension literacy in Indonesian language learning at school. This study is expected to identify various factors causing and impacting low reading comprehension literacy, as well as research-based solutions that provide theoretical and practical contributions to the development of more effective Indonesian language learning in improving students' reading comprehension literacy. This research method uses a library study or systematic literature review approach. Based on the analysis and discussion of literary materials, low reading comprehension literacy is a systemic and multidimensional problem. This problem is manifested from two main perspectives: international comparative data and national assessment data. Both internal and external factors contribute to low reading comprehension literacy. The impact of low reading comprehension literacy is on students' academic achievement in Indonesian language learning and on a much broader and more comprehensive essence. Various efforts have been made and proven effective in improving reading comprehension literacy.
