Abstract

Microbial contamination in making oyster mushroom planting media is a problem that every mushroom farmer often experiences. The main obstacle experienced by farmers is that the level of contamination in making media is still high, around 20%. This causes mushroom farmers to be reluctant to make their mushroom media (baglog). The application of intelligent machines to control the sterilization process of mushroom media controlled by a microcontroller is expected to overcome the problems experienced by farmers. The training program for making oyster mushroom media is a significant effort to support the growth and development of the oyster mushroom cultivation industry. This abstract summarizes the training program's objectives, methodology, results, and impact in increasing farmers' understanding and skills in producing high-quality media for oyster mushroom cultivation. This program aims to provide in-depth knowledge to participants, starting from mixing the composition of ingredients, the sterilization process, and the process of planting seeds (inoculation) in accordance with media-making standards. Through intensive training, participants learn the latest raw material selection, formulation, sterilization, and media packaging techniques. The training also includes hands-on media-making practice, enabling participants to master the necessary skills. In addition, this training program also allows participants to understand the importance of sustainable practices in oyster mushroom cultivation by integrating ecological aspects in media production. This helps in maintaining environmental balance and supports sustainable industrial growth.

Abstract

Semarang City is the Capital of Central Java Province, Indonesia which has a lot of potential in terms of culture, tourism, and geographical location. In terms of culture, Semarang has traditional dances such as Gambang Semarang and batik art. The colet batik motif is a technique for making batik that emerged along with the use of chemical dyes for batik. In order to introduce this technique further, mentoring was carried out for youth in the Jangli village cadet youth group by introducing the dab technique as an alternative in making batik motifs with natural dyes. The aim is to develop creativity and potential in order to be able to produce batik commodities that are unique in terms of batik motifs. The goal to be achieved is to cultivate the use of natural dyes in decorating and blocking fabric colors. This service activity was declared successful according to plan, which can be seen based on the involvement of participants and their enthusiasm while participating in the activity and can produce ethnic motifs with the dab technique to the dyeing process with natural dyes

Abstract

One of the issues encountered during the post-COVID-19 and new normal period is in the field of higher education and employment that require education and online or virtual meetings. Automatic speech recognition (ASR) is one of the technologies used to simplify recording through speech recognition into text minutes for the effectiveness of online meetings. This study aims to determine user acceptance in adopting text minutes on the Zoom Meeting video conference service for online meetings so that it can provide insights for video conferencing service provider companies in developing text minutes on their platforms. In this study, a total of 156 respondents participated in the study. The obtained data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. As a result, the construct of information, interaction, and performance expectancy has been shown to affect user satisfaction with text minutes in video conferencing services with an R square value of satisfaction of 0.516 (moderate). The quality of information is an important factor, information from the text minutes on video conferencing services must be accurate, reliable, timely, relevant, easy to understand, and presented in the appropriate format.Purpose: This observes ambitions to determine consumer popularity in adopting text minutes at the Zoom assembly video conference provider for online meetings in order that it could offer insights for video conferencing carrier company organizations in developing text minutes on their structures.Methods/Study design/approach: This study uses a mixture of UTAUT and WebQual. A studies instrument becomes prepared inside the shape of a web questionnaire containing query objects. All the items had been adapted from previous research. Then, data became amassed by way of administering an online questionnaire through diverse social media structures, along with WhatsApp and Telegram to respondents with several demographic questions and a five-factor Likert scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree (scored from 1 to 5) from eleven constructs. The obtained facts had been analyzed the usage of PLS-SEM.Result/Findings: The existence of text minutes on the Zoom Meeting video conference service has not been fully adopted by users in carrying out learning activities or online meetings. Abstract

Bulungcangkring Village in Jekulo District, Kudus Regency, has strong agricultural potential, with most residents working as farmers. Some have begun cultivating non-rice commodities such as pumpkin and purple sweet potato, which offer opportunities for value-added processing and increased income. KUB Elbina, a 20-member local enterprise group, focuses on processing these agricultural products, especially pumpkin flour. However, the group faces technological limitations, particularly in post-harvest drying, which is still done through open sun drying. This method requires ±24 hours, yields only ~70%, depends heavily on weather, and poses contamination risks from dust, insects, and microorganisms, resulting in inconsistent product quality, including non-uniform flour color. This community service program implements an IoT-based Ecobox Smart Dryer as an appropriate technology to improve processing efficiency and product quality using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Activities include problem identification, equipment installation, training, production assistance, and evaluation. The results show significant improvements: drying time reduced to ±8 hours, yield increased to ~90%, moisture content stabilized at ≤10%, and flour color became more uniform. The program outputs include a fully functioning Smart Dryer, enhanced production capacity, improved product quality, and strengthened operator skills.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas dan kepercayaan publik terhadap panti jompo melalui penerapan strategi digital social branding. Kegiatan dilakukan di Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas, Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia, yang menghadapi permasalahan rendahnya citra digital dan belum optimalnya penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi publik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengelola, pelatihan tatap muka, mentoring, serta pendampingan penyusunan konten digital dan pengembangan identitas merek digital. Materi pelatihan mencakup konsep dasar branding, penguatan identitas digital, komunikasi etis, teknik digital storytelling, serta penggunaan model konten 70:20:10 untuk menjaga konsistensi pesan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mitra dalam membangun citra positif melalui narasi digital, penggunaan media sosial, dan pembuatan konten visual yang humanis dan beretika. Mitra mulai mampu membuat storyboard, poster digital, serta konten foto dan video pendek yang layak dipublikasikan. Selain itu, mitra berhasil menyusun brand message yang menonjolkan nilai kasih sayang, kepedulian, dan profesionalisme layanan lansia. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa meningkatnya kemampuan pengelola dalam mengelola citra digital secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa digital social branding merupakan strategi efektif untuk membangun kepercayaan publik, meningkatkan reputasi institusi, dan memperluas jangkauan komunikasi panti jompo. Direkomendasikan adanya pendampingan lanjutan agar praktik branding digital dapat diterapkan secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan.
