Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah memainkan peran penting dalam pemantauan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) yang intuitif dan efektif untuk aplikasi pemantauan lingkungan berbasis IoT. Melalui analisis kebutuhan pengguna, pembuatan prototipe, dan pengujian usability, studi ini menemukan bahwa desain UI yang baik dapat meningkatkan interaksi pengguna dan pemahaman data lingkungan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan aplikasi yang mendukung kesadaran lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana iklan "Skintific x Fimela" mendekonstruksi stereotip gender perempuan melalui pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Dengan menganalisis elemen visual, teks narasi, dan simbol-simbol dalam iklan, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa iklan tersebut menampilkan perempuan sebagai sosok yang kuat, berprestasi, dan mampu melampaui batas-batas tradisional, seperti menjadi atlet bela diri dalam arena internasional. Narasi yang disampaikan tidak hanya mendorong perempuan untuk melampaui stereotip gender, tetapi juga menginspirasi audiens untuk percaya pada kemampuan mereka dalam mencapai impian. Selain itu, konteks perayaan Hari Perempuan Internasional semakin memperkuat pesan kesetaraan gender dan pemberdayaan perempuan yang menjadi inti dari iklan ini. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa iklan "Skintific x Fimela" tidak sekadar mempromosikan produk, tetapi juga mengedepankan nilai-nilai sosial yang mencerminkan pemberdayaan perempuan modern yang inspiratif dan mandiri.

Abstract

AbstrakPandemi Covid-19 memaksa orang untuk beraktivitas di rumah, termasuk berbelanja. Saat ini belanja online sudah menjadi kegiatan yang dipilih agar tidak keluar rumah dan praktis. Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya perubahan konsumen ke arah digital dan memanfaatkan layanan online seperti e-commerce dan media sosial. Tak hanya dirasakan oleh kalangan ibu rumah tangga dan pekerja, mahasiswa pun merasakan dampaknya. Mahasiswa dinilai sebagai konsumen paling aktif dalam kegiatan transaksi online dan mampu beradaptasi dengan baik. Selain digunakan sebagai platform untuk belanja, mahasiswa dapat memanfaatkan media sosial dan e-commerce sebagai platform yang dapat menghasilkan. Penawaran dan fitur yang diberikan baik dari e-commerce maupun media sosial mampu menarik konsumen dan akhirnya mempercayakan layanan online tersebut untuk terus digunakan. Tujuan penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah untuk mencari tahu mengenai pelayanan dan kemudahan yang dirasakan oelh mahasiswa dalam menggunakan layanan online dan hal tersebut menjadi alasan selanjutnya kenapa konsumen beralih ke platform digital. Objek dalam artikel ini adalah terdiri dari mahasiswa yang menjadi pelaku konsumen dan menjadi pelaku usaha. Melalui wawancara, hasil yang didapat akan dibahas secara menyeluruh mengenai perilaku konsumen yang memutuskan untuk melakukan pembelian secara online.Kata Kunci: Perilaku Konsumen, Mahasiswa, Belanja Online, Layanan Online, Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Pengaruh besarnya hasil hitungan nilai kohesi terhadap aktualisasi hasil perencanaan pondasi menggunakan beberapa metode perencanaan pondasi yang berbeda merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada kapasitas daya dukung aksial pondasi tiang pancang untuk kasus perencanaan gedung Dewi Sartika di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Tujuan utamanya untuk membandingkan hasil hitungan perencana yang menggunakan metode Meyerhof N-SPT, dengan membandingkan hasil hitungan kapasitas daya dukung tiang yang memperhitungkan nilai kohesi—yaitu metode Meyerhof (Clay) dan Vesic (Clay) untuk daya dukung ujung, serta metode α (Terzaghi, Peck dan Mesri serta Tomlinson) dan λ untuk daya dukung kulit. Sedangkan untuk menentukan aktualisasi dari beberapa metode perencanaan tersebut, digunakan hasil interpretasi static loading test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Meyerhof N-SPT merupakan metode yang lebih aktual untuk digunakan dalam perencanaan pondasi, karena nilai daya dukungnya paling mendekati hasil static loading test. Akan tetapi, hasil penurunan pondasi berdasarkan metode tersebut melebihi batas aman penurunan pondasi yang diijinkan. Sedangkan perencanaan menggunakan metode yang memperhitungkan nilai kohesi, hasil penurunan pondasinya masih memenuhi batas yang diijinkan.

Abstract

General Background: The integration of multimedia resources in education has gained attention for its potential to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Specific Background: While various teaching methods exist, the role of animated short movies in developing narrative writing skills among junior high school students remains underexplored. Knowledge Gap: Previous research has primarily focused on traditional methods of writing instruction, leaving a gap in understanding the specific effects of visual storytelling on writing proficiency. Aims: This study investigates the use of animated short movies as a tool for teaching narrative text writing skills to ninth-grade students in a junior high school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Results: A pre-test was administered to assess students’ initial writing skills, followed by a treatment using animated short movies, culminating in a post-test. The results indicated a significant increase in mean scores from 76.87 (pre-test) to 89.06 (post-test), supported by t-test analysis demonstrating improved writing quality. Novelty: This study contributes new insights into effective teaching strategies by highlighting the positive role of animated short movies in narrative writing instruction. Implications: The findings suggest that educators can incorporate animated short movies to create a more engaging and enjoyable writing learning environment, potentially leading to better student outcomes in narrative text composition. Highlights: Significant Improvement: Students’ narrative writing scores increased from 76.87 to 89.06 after using animated short movies. Engaging Learning Tool: Animated short movies effectively enhance student engagement in writing instruction. Abstract

Lip cream is a type of lip makeup that has a liquid texture but tends to be thick or creamy. For this reason, lip cream is often referred to as liquid lipstick. The community service event held on January 30, 2025, at SMA Negeri 4 Cimahi involved 32 students and aimed to provide insights into the utilization of natural resources in the production of lip cream. The activity began with an opening and introduction, followed by a presentation on the use of purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) and melinjo fruit skin (Gnetum gnemon, L) as active ingredients in the lip cream formulation. Lip cream, which has the ability to keep lips moisturized longer than solid products, is expected to meet good cosmetic standards, namely not causing irritation and providing an even color. The students learned about the anthocyanin content in purple sweet potatoes, which serves as a natural dye, as well as the antimicrobial compounds in melinjo skin that function as preservatives. The resulting lip cream formulation shows a balance between active ingredients and additives, along with organoleptic test results that indicate the desired characteristics. This activity not only provided new knowledge to the students about the utilization of natural ingredients but also fostered their awareness of the importance of safety and quality in the cosmetic products they use. Through a question-and-answer session and the distribution of the "Meilubby" lip cream product to participants, it is hoped that this knowledge will serve as a foundation for students to better understand and appreciate natural ingredient products in the future. This event successfully generated high interest and enthusiasm among students regarding the use of natural ingredients in the cosmetics industry.

Abstract

The emergence of radicalism problem has threatened disintegration of nation. Therefore, it needs a big role of education especially Islam religious education in preventing the understanding of radical religious teachings, maintaining the character of loving peace and nationalism values. Thus, this research is important to be conducted. This research aims to elaborate de-radicalization of Islamic teachings in Senior High School. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Research data was obtained from the implementation of curriculum 2013 by senior high school teachers of Islamic religious education in Masamba, South Sulawesi. Data collection was done through direct observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Data validity was checked through source triangulation and methods. The analysis was done by collecting, presenting, reducing, and drawing conclusion. The results of research were shown that de-radicalization in Islamic education faced several obstacles in achieving assessment standard. Nevertheless, Islamic education in curriculum 2013 can foster students’ character of religious, tolerant, democratic, and peace-love. As an effort of preventing, de-radicalization was done early through Islamic education. The practice of de-radicalization was carried out by teachers in a form of introducing and implementing religious values, tolerance, and nationalism in learning process by integrated with syllabus, teaching materials, and lesson plan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine violations of the Indonesian Advertising Ethics (EPI) in the advertising content of Gatotkoco coffee products uploaded on the Instagram account @gatotkocoid. The research highlights the need to understand the application of ethics in the rapidly growing digital advertising landscape. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with documentation and literature review methods, the findings reveal violations of Article 1.26 of the EPI, which prohibits the exploitation of sexuality in advertisements. These violations are evident in visuals and narratives that are irrelevant to the product but highlight suggestive sexual elements. This study underscores the importance of understanding and applying advertising ethics to prevent negative impacts such as the normalization of gender exploitation and negative public perception of the brand. The findings contribute to the literature on advertising ethics and offer recommendations for industry practitioners to create more socially responsible advertisements.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Appendicitis merupakan peradangan akut yang terjadi pada appendiks vermiformis dengan panjang bervariasi antara 7 hingga 15 cm. Pasien dengan appendicitis akan menjalani appendiktomi atau operasi pengangkatan usus buntu. Ketidaknyamanan merupakan efek samping dari post operasi appendicitis. Nyeri post operasi yang tidak kunjung sembuh membuat perilaku dan aktivitas sehari-hari menjadi tidak nyaman. Salah satu penatalaksanaan untuk mengurangi nyeri secara non farmakologis dengan menggunakan relaksasi genggam jari dan dzikir. Relaksasi genggam jari dapat diawali dengan relaksasi nafas dalam dan dikombinasikan dengan menyebut nama Allah SWT. Hal tersebut dapat memberikan efek rasa nyaman, rileks, jasmani dan rohani terhindar dari stres maupun rasa tegang yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri. Sedangkan seseorang yang melakukan dzikir akan merasa lebih tenang dan rileks. Ketika berdzikir akan menyeimbangkan kadar serotonin dan norepineprin yang akan bekerja di dalan otak sehingga menimbulkan rasa tenang dalam hati dan pikiran. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan desain deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 3 pasien post operasi appendicitis dengan skala nyeri sedang (4-6). Hasil: Penerapan relaksasi genggam jari dan dzikir yang dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan durasi 10-20 menit efektif mengurangi skala nyeri mulai dari sedang (6) menjadi ringan (1) pada pasien post operasi appendicitis. Perubahan tersebut dapat dilihat setelah dilakukan penilaian skala nyeri sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan relaksasi genggam jari dengan kombinasi dzikir. Kata kunci: dzikir, nyeri, post operasi appendicitis, relaksasi genggam jari ABSTRACT Introduction: Appendicitis is an acute inflammation of the appendix vermiformis, which ranges in length from 7 to 15 cm. Patients with appendicitis will have their appendix surgically removed. Appendicitis can cause discomfort in the postoperative period. Postoperative pain that does not go away makes daily life and activities uncomfortable. Non-pharmacological pain relief methods include finger-clasp relaxation and dhikr. Deep breath relaxation can come before finger-grip relaxation, which can then be paired with dhikr. This can produce a sense of comfort, relaxation, and physical and spiritual avoidance of stress and tension, all of which can induce pain. Meanwhile, those who practice dhikr will feel calmer and more relaxed. Dhikr will regulate serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain, resulting in a sensation of tranquility in the heart and mind. Methods: This study used a case study technique with a descriptive design. The study included three postoperative appendicitis patients with a moderate pain scale (4-6). Results: In postoperative appendicitis patients, applying finger-grip relaxation and dhikr for three days with a duration of 10-20 minutes effectively reduces pain from moderate (6) to mild (1). This difference can be detected by comparing the pain scale before and after practicing finger-grip relaxation with dhikr. Keywords: dhikr, finger-grip relaxation, pain, post operative appendicitis

Abstract

Diagnostic assessment is an initial evaluation conducted before or during the learning process to determine students' abilities, characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses. Students' low understanding of the material and a lack of attention to diverse learning styles make the learning process less effective. This research aims to examine the influence of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment on the learning styles of sociology students in Class X at SMAN 1 Salimpaung.The theory used in this research is constructivism according to Jean Piaget. The method employed is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population for this study comprises Class X Phase E students, and the sample is Class X E2, with the researchers using Purposive Sampling to select the sample. The research instruments used include questionnaires, observation, and document study. Data for this study were collected through questionnaires distributed to 32 students and observations during the learning process. The questionnaire consisted of 32 statements regarding visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Data analysis in this study involved validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, linearity testing, and hypothesis testing.The results of this study indicate that there is a diversity of student learning styles in Class X E2 SMAN 1 Salimpaung, with the visual learning style being more dominant. The application of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment significantly influenced students' understanding of their learning style characteristics. Consequently, teachers can more easily design appropriate learning strategies and improve student learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers regularly conduct this assessment to make the teaching and learning process more effective and enjoyable for students.
