Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat bagaimana sumber inovasi didapat untuk Industri kuliner di Bandung. Inovasi diperlukan agar perusahaan tetap dapat memenuhi keinginan pasar yang dinamis dan juga bersaing dengan pesaingnya. Inovasi merupakan cara agarpara elaku usaha mampu memenuhi permintaan pasar. Inovasi melibatkan sebagian besar waktu itu melibatkan proses membawa ide ke depan, merevisi dan menyempurnakannya, dan menjalin pengetahuan yang berbeda bersama-sama menuju produk, proses, atau layanan yang bermanfaat. Untuk memicu proses itu terjadi dengan berbagai cara, kita perlu mengenali keragaman ini dan menargetkan pencarian peluang kita seluas mungkin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif untuk mendapatkan gambaran kondisi saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah industri kuliner di Bandung dan sampelnya adalah usaha skala kecil dan menengah. Hasil penelitian ini mennjukkan bahwa segian besar industri kuliner di Bandung mengandalkan pengetahuan pengolahan makan dari pemlik dan karyawan sebagai sumber melakukan inovasi. Walaupun begitu, beberapa pelaku usaha berani melakukan inovasi dengan modifikasi dari hal yang sudah ada sebelumnya juga.

Abstract

Technological development is one of the important factors in the process of purchasing decisions that affect consumer spending patterns. These changes are not just happening in Indonesia, but apply globally. The availability of high-speed internet connections, as well as the consumer's receipt of the presence of the power of social media and the number of online offerings increasingly attractive, support very well the growth of online business. This research aims to study the consumer behavior changes in the digital age. Data collection is done with a qualitative approach in the form of focus group discussion and depth interviews in several cities in Indonesia. Research results are applied as the basis for consideration for Small Medium Enterprises in conducting its marketing strategies adaptation in order to be sustainable in the digital age.

Abstract

Youth unemployment remains a pressing issue in Indonesia, largely due to limited formal job opportunities and the insufficient readiness of graduates to adapt to an increasingly dynamic labor market. This condition calls for an alternative solution through the promotion of entrepreneurship, not merely as a means of economic gain but as a pathway toward value, meaning, and sustainable living. This Community Service Program aimed to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset rooted in self-reflection and life purpose awareness by strengthening participants’ critical thinking, self-confidence, responsibility, and understanding of the ikigai concept, which covers achieving balance among what one loves, is good at, what society needs, and what can provide income. The program was implemented through a participatory approach involving self-reflection, group discussions, simple business simulations, and interactive lectures. The results revealed strong enthusiasm and engagement from participants, along with improvements in logical reasoning, risk-taking ability, and task discipline. Moreover, the integration of ikigai helped participants discover business directions aligned with their passions and personal values, resulting in more meaningful and sustainable ventures. Overall, this program successfully fostered awareness that entrepreneurship is not merely a solution to unemployment but a way to create a productive, purposeful, and socially valuable life.  Keywords: character development, entrepreneurial mindset, ikigai, unemployment, youth entrepreneurship. Abstrak Tingkat pengangguran di kalangan generasi muda masih menjadi tantangan serius di Indonesia, khususnya akibat keterbatasan lapangan kerja formal dan ketidaksiapan lulusan menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja yang dinamis. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya alternatif solusi melalui penguatan semangat kewirausahaan yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan ekonomi, tetapi juga pada nilai, makna, dan keberlanjutan hidup. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan menumbuhkan pola pikir kewirausahaan (entrepreneurial mindset) yang berakar pada refleksi diri dan kesadaran makna hidup melalui penguatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, rasa percaya diri, tanggung jawab, serta pemahaman konsep ikigai, yakni keseimbangan antara apa yang dicintai, dikuasai, dibutuhkan masyarakat, dan dapat menjadi sumber penghidupan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui refleksi diri, diskusi kelompok, simulasi bisnis sederhana, dan penyampaian materi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengikuti seluruh rangkaian dengan antusias, menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan berpikir logis, keberanian mengambil risiko, serta kedisiplinan dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Selain itu, penerapan ikigai membantu peserta menemukan arah usaha yang sesuai dengan passion dan nilai pribadi, sehingga wirausaha yang dijalankan menjadi lebih bermakna dan berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran baru bahwa kewirausahaan bukan semata jalan keluar dari pengangguran, tetapi juga sarana mewujudkan kehidupan yang produktif, bernilai, dan berkontribusi bagi sesama. Kata kunci: pengembangan karakter, pola pikir kewirausahaan, ikigai, penganggugran, kewirausahaan muda.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises contribute significantly towards Indonesia’s economy, since they are scattered widely throughout rural areas, the create substantial employment opportunity for local people as well as create many various products. While many large businesses had to lose their operation during the pandemic, small and medium enterprises were able to survive in order to create more innovation for the product and their business.   The pandemic hit the economy very strongly and SMEs can survive if they can manage the innovation capability. The development of innovation capability started      in 2000 and it has been growing until today.  Innovation capability innovation capability will be more focused and stronger if it has digital adaptability. The primary goals of this paper are to present the model for development of innovation capability by systematic literature review, to collect the differences and similarities of methods that used in innovation capability research, understand deeply the dimensions of innovation capability, and know the future research in innovation capability. This research uses a systematic literature review method, that used more than 35 journals from Scopus access and another reputation access in 2020. The research funding that an area implementation of innovation capability varies widely with the research methodology the most researcher used is quantitative research. The dimension that construct the variable varies from internal and external dimension and innovation capability can improve and develop by finding the relationship with variables which still observed, cooperation and network is one of interest field to research. The limitation of the research is that the systematic literature review only focuses on journals published in Scopus and only in 2020, although researchers also review some of the best non-Scopus journals in the field of innovation capability.

Abstract

Micro and small business owners have to fight for their businesses to survive. In order to survive, micro and small business actors must first know the problems they face. The method used to find out the problems faced by conducting observations and also interviews with micro business actors. This research reveals the problems faced by micro and small business actors based on three company operating functions, namely Operations Management, Financial Management and Marketing Management. The results show that in the Operations section, micro and small business actors must improve production planning, 5S and layout arrangement. In the financial section, what must be addressed is financial recording, and in the marketing section, what must be addressed is product development and market expansion by penetrating the marketplace. Improvement of the problems faced is carried out by assisting MSEs by improving the company's operating functions

Abstract

Bandung is part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in Indonesia, which is expected to become a world Muslim fashion center, but currently, its growth is threatened due to the entry of well-known brands and imported products, while Muslim fashion MSMEs in Bandung City are still far behind. This study aims to determine the level of product innovation and product quality produced by Muslim fashion MSMEs in Bandung City, as well as any matters related to product innovation and product quality that still need to be improved to increase the competitiveness of their businesses. The descriptive analysis method was used to analyze product quality and innovation in 100 Muslim fashion MSMEs in Bandung City, Indonesia. The results of this study found that the larger the business scale, the higher the level of product innovation; the quality level of small businesses is higher than the quality level of micro-businesses, but the quality level of medium enterprises is lower than the quality level of small businesses. The results of this research can be useful for developing product innovation models and product quality for the Muslim fashion industry.
