Abstract

This research aims to determine the distribution of boarding houses, characteristics of industri workers, factors that affect the preferences of election a boarding house and the preferences of election a boarding house for industry workers. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, documentation and field measurements. Data were analyzed using spatial analysis and percentage descriptive analysis. The results showed that the distribution of boarding houses tend to be located in industri area which are neighborhood unit 01, unit 04, unit 05, and unit 06. Characteristics of industry workers are divided into three aspects, namely a) demographic aspects including age, sex and marital status; b) socio-cultural aspects covering the status and position of industry workers, the latest education and the origin of industry workers; and c) economic aspects that include income and expenditure of industry workers in a month. Factors that affect the preferences of election a boarding house are internal factors and external factors. Internal factor is the characteristics of industry workers, while the external factors are divided into four factors: physical factors, accessibility factors, environmental factors, and boarding house facilities.The preferences of election a boarding house for industry workers there a four, among them a) ease of access to the work site and the infrastructure that is the main reason industry workers choose where to stay in boarding house; b) a clean, safe and comfortable boarding house environment, which is the second reason; c) cheap boarding house rental fees is the third reason; and d) completeness of public facilities boarding house which is the last reason industry workers in choosing boarding house.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: 1) the distribution of small home industries including the location of the industries, the source of raw materials, and the range of industries’ marketing, 2) the characteristic of small home industries capital, 3) the labor absorption rate, 4) the contribution of the income of the small home industries to the family income.The research method is survey, documentation, and interview. The research result is the spatial distribution of the small home industries is in the entire village in Susukan District. The labors absorption in Susukan District is 5%. The average incomes of the small home industries is Rp 4.200.000,- per month. The contribution of the income of the small home industries to the family income is 75%.

Abstract

The aim research to know spatial distribution villages affected drought, characteristics disaster households drought, and household preparedness drought in district Bringin. Research method is quantitative descriptive. Technique data collection with the documentation, questionaire, interview, observation. Sampling techniques using sampling area to find sample region examined villages with level regions drought and technique purposive random sampling specified village samples and sampling proportional to number each region samples taken together. Result spatial distribution villages affected drought consists three categories low, medium and high. Low class village named Truko, medium categories named Wiru, high categories named Rembes. Household characteristics drought in village of Truko classified well to support drought preparedness, Wiru Village classified as a household characteristics enough to support drought preparedness, while villages classified as Rembes not good. Level of village preparedness. Preparedness household in Truko including ready, Villages Wiru quite ready, while Villages Rembes not ready.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to know the level of fertility in the Village Bandarjo and Keji Village in the West Ungaran Distric 2) to know the factors that affact the fertility in the Village Bandarjo and Keji Village in the West Ungaran Distric 3)to know the factors that most influential to the level of fertility in the village Bandarjo and Keji village in the West Ungaran Distric. Research methods is research metods descriptive qualitative and quantitative, with research object is fertility. Technical analysis of data used in the study is calculate the fertility and descriptive analysis. The result of the study showed GFR in the Village Bandarjo of 58 babies / year and Keji Village of 38 babies/ year. Factors influencing the fertility rate in Village Bandarjo and Keji Village West Ungaran Districts is first mating age, the number of family members, the level of education and family income. While the use of contraceptives did not affect fertility rate.

Abstract

Industri pakaian jadi merupakan sektor industri tertinggi ke 3 di Kabupaten Semarang dengan pusat konsentrasi di Kecamatan Bergas. Kebutuhan dan permintaan sandang menjadi potensi yang menjanjikan bagi industri pakaian jadi dalam segi perekonomian dan sosial karena industri pakaian jadi merupakan industri padat karya yang mampu menyerap tenaga kerja cukup besar yang dapat mempengaruhi strategi penghidupan tenaga kerja. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui strategi penghidupan tenaga kerja industri pakaian jadi baik skala kecil, sedang dan besar. Metode pengumpulan data primer menggunakan metode proportional area random sampling sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskripsi persentase. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 65 tenaga kerja yang diperoleh dari perhitungan menggunakan rumus slovin. Variabel penelitian meliputi pemenuhan kebutuhan primer sekunder tersier, akses menuju tempat bekerja, kapabilitas serta aktivitas tenaga kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tenaga kerja industri pakaian jadi baik skala kecil, sedang maupun besar menerapkan strategi penghidupan konsolidasi dan migrasi.

Abstract

Pringapus district is a district with a variety of TPT (Textile and Products Textile) industries, the total are 54consisting of 11 home industries, 25 small industries, 7 medium industries, and 11 large industries. The purposeof this study is to know the implementation of the 4.0 industrial revolution in the textile industry and textileproducts in Pringapus district in the factors of raw materials, production activities, marketing, the salary system,and health assistance applied by the textile and product textile industries. The sampling technique uses to knowthe implementation of the 4.0 industrial revolution in the textile and product textile (TPT) industry andemployment is purposive sampling because the researchers took 3 industries consists of 1 home industry, 1 smallindustry, and 1 medium industry in the Pringapus district. The data analysis technique uses qualitativedescriptions by describing the answers of the respondents. The results showed that the textile industry and textileproducts in Pringapus District that implement the whole of industry 4.0 are medium and largescale industries.While in small industries the implementation it only lies in the process of obtaining raw materials, productionmachines, and online marketing. In the home industry, the application of industry 4.0 only on product marketingtechniques using the online system. Kecamatan Pringapus merupakan Kecamatan dengan industri TPT (Tekstil dan Produk Tekstil)yang bervariasi yaitu sebanyak 54 yang terdiri dari 11 industri rumah tangga, 25 industri kecil, 7industri sedang/menengah dan 11 industri besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuiimplementasi revolusi industri 4.0 pada industri tekstil dan produk tekstil di Kecamatan Pringapusmelalui faktor bahan baku, kegiatan produksi, pemasaran, sistem upah dan bantuan kesehatan yangditerapkan oleh industri tekstil dan produk tekstil. Teknik sampel yang digunakan untuk mengetahuiimplementasi revolusi industri 4.0 pada industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) dan penyerapantenaga kerja adalah purposive sampling karena peneliti mengambil 3 industri yang masing-masingterdiri dari 1 industri rumah tangga, 1 industri kecil dan 1 industri sedang di Kecamatan Pringapus. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan jawaban dariresponden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri tekstil dan produk tekstil di KecamatanPringapus yang secara keseluruhan menerapkan industri 4.0 adalah industri skala sedang dan besar,sedangkan industri kecil penerapan hanya terletak pada proses pemerolehan bahan baku, mesinproduksi dan pemasaran yang dilakukan secara online. Industri skala rumah tangga penerapanindustri 4.0 hanya pada pada teknik pemasaran produk yang dilakukan secara online.
