Abstract

Teaching material is a tool for an educator in the success of the learning processat all levels of education and all areas of study. No exception learning process oflinear program in Higher Education. For that an educator must be able toarrange their own teaching materials in accordance with the competence to beachieved as well as student characteristics. In the course of linear programming,there needs to be a theory application in everyday problems or in industryproblems. In addition complex calculation problems make the process of solvingproblems related to linear program takes a long time. So that researchers doresearch in designing teaching materials linear program with linear assistedcontextual approach. So the purpose of this study is to know that the teachingmaterials linear program with linear-assisted contextual assisted approach usedin the learning process. Linever is an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solversoftware. The teaching materials developed are Diktat and Student Worksheet(LKM). This research is a part of development research with ADDIE developmentmodel (Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, Evaluation), that is atDesign stage. Data collection techniques use validation materials sheet given tothe validator. The result of the research shows that the linear program teachingmaterials with linearly validated contextual approach are used with the averagerating of 3.6% included in the criteria. Abstract

This research to determine the effectiveness of the application of learning model of Change of Pairs Based on Character Education. This research is an experimental research. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are the test of completeness, influence test, and test the average difference. The results of this study indicate that: (1)The ability to understand the concept of achieving KKM with an average value of 84.6429 and the percentage of completeness is 82.1429%. (2)There is influence of motivation and honesty to ability understanding of concept equal to 81%. (3) There is an average difference between the experimental class and the control class with an average rating of 84.6429 and 70.0729. So it can be concluded that the application of Change of Pairs learning model based on character education on the ability to comprehend the concept of mathematical material of effective logic. Abstract

Abstract. Many students have difficulty and get low score in trigonometry. Some reason said this subject contains a lotof formulas and the teachers have not used the learning system that can make students more active. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI)based on constructivism towad students' ability to think trigonometry creatively. This study is an experimental studyconducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang. Data collection technique is student activity observation and creativethinking ability tests of mathematical ability. The result shows classical completeness of creative thinking abilities ofstudents reached 85.7%. Value of creative mathematical thinking skills (KBKM) was influenced by students' activity was78.4% and the value of Mathematical Creative Thinking Skills test experimental class was better than the control class. Itmeans that learning of mathematics trigonometry by applying the cooperative model type TAI constructivism based ismore effective than learning by using conventional learning models.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the availability of practical equipment on student learning outcomes in department of mathematics education di University Muhammadiyah Semarang. The populations are lecturers and students who are in the fourth semester in that department. While the sample are 23 students  who took the course of workshop mathematical equipment. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Analysis of influence test by using linear regression test. The result showed that the average of students' learning achievement is 77.3. While the effect of the availability of practice equipment to students' learning achievement is 23,4%. Keywords: workshop, mathematics manipulative, learning proses

Abstract

Topik eksponen mempunyai posisi yang strategis untuk menumbuh kembangkankemampuan nalar siswa dan dapat dipandang sebagai suatu latihan untuk menata nalarsiswa. Kondisi hasil belajar matematika materi eksponen selama 2 tahun pada SMA TeukuUmar kelas X menunjukkan selalu berada dibawah nilai ketuntasan. Kondisi ini akan diatasimelalui implementasi Metode Jigsaw berbantuan CD pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaranmatematika materi Eksponen dengan metode Jigsaw berbantuan CD Pembelajaran.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan. Observasi dan pengumpulan data dari kondisiawal kelas merupakan langkah awal sebelum dilakukan tindakan selanjutnya. Rangkaianpenelitian ini berbentuk Randoms Siclus, sebanyak 2 (dua) siklus dengan tahapan masingmasingsiklus : Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, pengamatan tindakan serta refleksi. Hasilobservasi awal siklus 1 diperoleh data dari 39 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar hanya28,2 %. Keaktifan siswa meningkat pada siklus pertama berdasarkan indikator-indikatorpengamatan sebesar sebesar 9,8 point naik dari 62,4 pada kondisi awal menjadi 72,2 padasiklus 1. Keaktifan siswa meningkat pada siklus kedua berdasarkan indikator-indikatorpengamatan sebesar sebesar 9.1 point naik dari 72,2 pada siklus pertama menjadi 81.3 padasiklus 2.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKS) with a valid open ended approach and its application in effective learning. This research is a development research using FOUR-D development model with define, design and develop stages. The sample of this research is class X IPA 6 (experiment) and class X IPA 1 (control). Data analysis techniques used are the test of completeness, influence test, average difference test and gain index calculation. The results showed that the developed LKS meet the criteria is very valid with the value of 85.2%. The ability to problem solving of KKM with an average value of 88.89%. The influence of activity and motivation on problem solving ability is 87,1% and there is difference of experiment class and control class. There is an increase in problem solving abilities by 0.7 with a high increase criteria. So it can be concluded that LKS with open ended approach on SPLTV material is valid, and effective. Keywords : Student Worksheet, Open Ended, Problem Solving Mathematics
