Abstract

Lappa Village in North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, has the potential to empower fisheries and marine natural products. However, its potential in the utilization business is not optimal. Some of the problems encountered, one of which is the infrastructure that supports fishing community activities has not been realized properly and has not been optimally carried out, the level of environmental quality and the level of welfare is still low. This study aims to find out how the level of availability of supporting infrastructure for fishing activities is based on standards and propose a strategy for developing fisherman environmental infrastructure in an effort to improve the economy of small fishing communities in Lappa Village, North Sinjai District. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained from literature studies, observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques are literature synthesis analysis, qualitative descriptive analysis, Likert scale analysis, infrastructure service level analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the availability of supporting facilities for fishermen's activities in Lappa Village was 63.6% with the medium category and infrastructure for supporting fishing activities still needs to be done better pier planning and road widening, as well as meeting the needs for utility infrastructure (electricity and clean water).

Abstract

The increase in bicycle users during the pandemic by school age in Pekanbaru increased quite significantly, this has become the basis for planning the implementation of Safe Routes to School (SRTS) for cyclists. This planning was carried out to follow up on the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 16 of 2016 as an effort to increase the use of bicycles to school by providing infrastructure that provides safe and secure rights for its users. This research was conducted with the aim of providing directions for Safe and SRTS for cyclists in Pekanbaru. Secondary data collection is in the form of a literature study by examining the factors that influence determining safe and safe bicycle routes to school and reviewing SRTS planning guidelines for cyclists. Primary data was obtained from observations and documentation to identify the existing condition of the factors that influence route determination on the case study roads. This research was conducted from March to August 2021, located in Pekanbaru. The analysis used is a systematic review, quantitative, spatial, descriptive qualitative, and MKJI. Based on the results of the Systematic Review, several dominant variables influence the determination of safe and safe bicycle routes to school, namely traffic volume, traffic speed, points of conflict/intersection and physical condition of the road. with the RASS recommendation directives for cyclists in Pekanbaru City located on Jl. Abstract

Rainwater harvesting is a system of collecting and storing rainwater for reuse in daily activities. This concept can be applied to the research location because rainwater that falls to the surface cannot be accommodated optimally on land. This study aims to determine the operating system of the installation and maintenance of rainwater harvesting techniques, evaluate the potential applications of rainwater harvesting, and provide guidance on the concept of rainwater harvesting. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted from March to November 2020 (8 months). The method of collecting data is carried out primarily through observation, field surveys, and observation of building functions. The secondary data obtained through literature studies and government agency data. The analysis used is a synthesis of literature, the potential per building, the amount of rainwater that can be harvested, and the amount of household/domestic water demand. The results of this study indicate that the application of this concept can meet the needs of water and is able to become an alternative in meeting the needs of clean water in the research location. The potential for rainwater harvesting based on the calculation results is 58,099,680 liters/day or if it is assumed that each house has the same roof area. So each house can accommodate rain water of 272,768 liters/day/house. This figure is obtained through rainwater that can be harvested in Kampung Lakkang divided by the number of houses, namely 213 houses. The number of household/domestic water needs shows 58620 liters/day, with an average for each house of 300 liters/day.
