Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of readiness of human resources, and technology has an effect on sales performance, to determine and analyze the effect of readiness of human resources and technology on the adoption of shopee e-commerce platform and its impact on sales performance. The population sampling method in this study amounted to 259,812, the population data registered in the UMKM data site belonging to the Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Office of North Sumatra province, and using the Slovin sampling technique, a sample of 100 Culinary SMEs was obtained. The technique used in collecting this data s using a survey through distributing questionnaires to culinary MSME users who run their business by e-commerce in the shopee application in the city of Medan. The results show that the readiness of human resources has no significant effect on sales performance, technology readiness does not significantly affect sales performance, the adoption of the shopee e-commerce platform mediates the effect of human resource readiness on sales performance, the adoption of the shopee e-commerce platform mediates the technological readiness to sales performance.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach to conduct an associative study. In order to improve the performance of small firms, this study attempts to establish the relationship between influencing entrepreneurship insight, market orientation, knowledge sharing, innovation, and business strategy. Because the data that will be utilized to investigate the relationship between variables is expressed in numbers or on a numerical scale, this study takes a quantitative approach. The population and samples used in this study were all business owners of imported used items with an amount that does not have a nominal value in the city of Medan, and 100 samples were taken from this study. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship insight, market orientation, knowledge sharing, innovation, and business strategy have a positive and significant effect in improving the performance of small businesses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi pada PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangkitan Sumatera Utara Desain penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 155 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sebanyak 112 responden dengan probability sampling yaitu random sampling Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan MRA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, Kepuasan kerja tidak terbukti signifikan dalam memoderasi variabel penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine work knowledge and compensation for performance with work motivation as a moderation variable at PT Herfinta Farm And Plantation. In this study using a type of associative research witha quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study, namely employees of PT. Herfinta Farm andPlantation with a sample of 100 employees. The results in this study show that the variables of work knowledgeand compensation have a significant influence on performance. For work motivation variables that act asmoderation variables, in this study work motivation variables are able to moderate significantly between workknowledge variables but work motivation is not able to moderate compensation on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement and transactional leadership style on job satisfaction of PDAM Tirtanadi Medan employees. To find out whether organizational justice moderates the effect of employee engagement and transactional leadership style on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirtanadi Medan. The total population in this study amounted to 266 people, and by using the Slovon formula, a sample of 144 people was obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and MRA. The results showed that employee engagement and transactional leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirtanadi Medan. Organizational justice weakens employee engagement and strengthens transactional leadership style on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirtanadi Medan

Abstract

The Public Works Office of Medan City is one of the agencies engaged in the repair of road infrastructure. Based on the information that the researchers obtained, one of the problems faced by the Medan City Public Works Office is the lack of discipline in the work of production employees in completing their work and reduced employee job satisfaction and a tendency to decline in the performance of general employees. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance mediated by employee job satisfaction at the Medan City Public Works Office. The number of population in this study was 214 people and the sample was 139 respondents using the Slovin method. The test used is path analysis or path analysis. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has no positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, employee job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has a positif effect on employee performance throught employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study was conducted at STIKES Senior Medan, an educational institution, to examine the effect of implementing a fingerprint attendance system and punishment, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance mediated by work discipline. The research subjects included all employees working at STIKES Senior Medan, totaling 125 people. The sampling technique was carried out by census, meaning that the entire population was used as respondents. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. Data analysis includes data quality tests, path analysis, regression assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the data analysis show that the fingerprint attendance system has a significant influence on the application of sanctions on employee work discipline. In addition, a high level of work discipline plays an important role in improving employee performance. The results showed that work discipline acts as a mediating factor that strengthens the relationship between the application of the fingerprint attendance system and the application of sanctions with employee performance at STIKES Senior Medan. When examined together, the implementation of the fingerprint attendance system and the application of sanctions have a significant effect on employee work discipline. In addition, the combination of the three variables - fingerprint attendance, work discipline, and sanctions - also significantly affected employee performance. This study found a strong relationship between the use of the fingerprint attendance system and the application of sanctions to employee work discipline. An equally strong relationship was also found between the combination of the three variables and employee performance. About 52.9% of the variation in employee work discipline at STIKES Senior Medan can be explained by the influence of the fingerprint attendance system and the application of sanctions. Meanwhile, about 59.7% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the combination of the three variables. At the same time, the rest is influenced by other factors that are not measured in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah orientasi pasar, orientasi pembelajaran dan inovasi berpengaruh terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan secara parsial, untuk mengetahui apakah orientasi pasar, orientasi pembelajaran, inovasi dan orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis secara parsial. Untuk mengetahui apakah orientasi kewirausahaan memediasi pengaruh orientasi pasar, orientasi pembelajaran dan inovasi terhadap kinerja bisnis secara parsial. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 116 UKM Sektor Makanan di Desa Kolam Medan, dan semuanya dijadikan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik penarikan sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi pasar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan, inovasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan. Orientasi pasar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis, orientasi pembelajaran tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis, inovasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis, orientasi kewirausahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis. Orientasi kewirausahaan tidak memediasi pengaruh orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja bisnis, orientasi kewirausahaan tidak memediasi pengaruh orientasi pembelajaran terhadap kinerja bisnis, dan orientasi kewirausahaan tidak memediasi pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja bisnis pada UKM Sektor Makanan di Desa Kolam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah konflik peran, kohesivitas kelompok, dan hubungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja secara parsial. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 249 karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Kebun Tanah Raja, dan dengan menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel slovin diperoleh sampel sebesar 75 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kohesivitas kelompok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, hubungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Kebun Tanah Raja. Maka semakin baik kualitas mengatasi kohesivitas antar kelompok dan konflik peran kemudian hubungan kerja antar karyawan akan menimbulkan dan meningkatkan rasa kepuasan kerja. Oleh karena itu perlunya pimpinan dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai dalam berorganisasi dan meningkatkan potensi diri karyawan untuk meningkatkan rasa kepuasan kerja pada pekerjaan mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how creativity and social media users influence the success of MSMEs. The population in this study was 125 MSMEs and all of them were sampled in this study using saturated sampling techniques. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that creativity has a positive and significant effect on the success of MSMEs with a value of (5.394 > 1.979) and a Sig. (0.000 < 0.05). Social media users have a positive and significant influence on the success of MSMEs with a value of (3.801 > 1.979) and a Sig value. (0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously shows that creativity and social media users have a significant influence on the success of MSMEs in Kel. Harjosari I, Kec. Medan Amplas with Fcount > Ftable value (18.068 > 3.070) or sig F < 5% (0.000 < 0.05).
