Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of work engagement and transactional leadership on public service worker satisfaction, (2) the influence of work engagement on public service worker satisfaction moderated by organizational justice, and (3) the influence of transactional leadership on public service worker satisfaction moderated by organizational justice. The study was conducted at the Tirtanadi Medan Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM Tirtanadi Medan), one of the Regional-Owned Enterprises in the North Sumatra Provincial Government that serves the drinking water needs of the community. The type of explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was PDAM Tirtanadi Medan, totaling 266 people, and a sample of 144 people based on calculations using the Slovin formula. Proportional random sampling was used in determining the sample. Primary data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple regression methods and Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the study prove that: (1) work engagement and transactional leadership have a significant effect on public service worker satisfaction with a large effect of 27.4%, (2) work engagement does not have a significant effect on public service worker satisfaction moderated by organizational justice, (3) likewise transactional leadership does not have a significant effect on public service worker satisfaction moderated by organizational justice. The organizational justice variable does not act as a moderating variable in this study. The dimensions of organizational justice that contribute to low job satisfaction are procedural and interactional justice.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi pada PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangkitan Sumatera Utara Desain penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 155 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sebanyak 112 responden dengan probability sampling yaitu random sampling Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan MRA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan, Kepuasan kerja tidak terbukti signifikan dalam memoderasi variabel penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The increasing vulnerability of local economies in the face of global disruptions-ranging from the COVID-19 pandemic to climate change and geopolitical instability-has strengthened the urgency to develop strategies that enhance local economic resilience. This study investigates the role of community-based entrepreneurial ecosystems (CBEE) and social capital (SC) in shaping local economic resilience (LER). A quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey design with 126 respondents consisting of micro, small, and community-based entrepreneurs. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess both measurement and structural models. The findings reveal that CBEE exerts a significant direct effect on LER (β = 0.34; p < 0.001), while SC demonstrates an even stronger impact (β = 0.41; p < 0.001). Moreover, CBEE significantly influences SC (β = 0.56; p < 0.001), and the indirect effect of CBEE on LER through SC is confirmed (β = 0.23; p < 0.001). These results highlight that social capital serves as a critical mediator, translating the institutional and resource support within entrepreneurial ecosystems into tangible local resilience outcomes. The model explains 58% of the variance in LER, suggesting a substantial predictive relevance. Theoretically, this research enriches entrepreneurial ecosystem literature by offering a community-centered perspective that integrates CBEE, SC, and resilience theories. Practically, the study underscores the importance of strengthening community institutions, building trust-based networks, and fostering collaborative mechanisms to ensure inclusive and sustainable local development. In conclusion, developing community-based entrepreneurial ecosystems emerges not only as an economic empowerment strategy but also as a key instrument to achieve inclusive growth and long-term resilience.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong pelaku usaha kuliner untuk memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai strategi pemasaran. TikTok menjadi salah satu platform populer dengan potensi besar, namun penggunaannya oleh café dan restoran di Kota Medan masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh persepsi kegunaan, persepsi kemudahan, kepercayaan, dan pengaruh sosial terhadap niat perilaku, serta pengaruh niat perilaku terhadap perilaku aktual penggunaan TikTok.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel 120 pelaku usaha kuliner yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS V 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kegunaan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap niat perilaku, sedangkan persepsi kemudahan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan. Kepercayaan dan pengaruh sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat perilaku. Selain itu, niat perilaku berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku aktual penggunaan TikTok.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepercayaan dan pengaruh sosial menjadi faktor utama dalam mendorong adopsi TikTok oleh pelaku usaha kuliner di Kota Medan, sementara faktor teknis seperti kegunaan dan kemudahan relatif kurang berpengaruh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. A quantitative approach was employed with a total sample of 123 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The independent variables consist of Attitude (X1), Subjective Norms (X2), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Price Value (X4), Perceived Risk (X5), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7), while the dependent variable is Purchase Intention (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.   The results indicate that Attitude (X1), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7) have a positive and significant effect on consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. Meanwhile, Subjective Norms (X2), Price Value (X4), and Perceived Risk (X5) show no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, it can be concluded that consumers’ positive attitudes, perceived behavioral control, environmental self-image, and adequate infrastructure support are key factors that enhance consumers’ intention to purchase electric vehicles in Medan City.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Quality of Work Life on Employee Performance with Length of Work as a Moderating variable at PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. The method of analysis in this study was the moderation regression analysis test to determine whether the moderating variable will strengthen or weaken the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable studied and to justify how significant the influence of the independent and dependent variables was either directly or indirectly through the moderating variable. In this study the entire population sampled, namely 130 employees at the company PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. The results of this study indicated that the Quality of Work Life had a significant effect on employee performance and length of work as a moderating variable had a positive effect on the relationship between the Quality of Work Life and employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Quality of Work Life terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Lama Kerja sebagai variabel moderating pada perusahaan PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Metode analisis pada penelitian ini adalah uji analisis regresi moderasi untuk mengetahui apakah variabel moderating akan memperkuat atau memperlemah hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen yang diteliti. Seluruh populasi yang menjadi sampel, yaitu 130 orang pegawai pada perusahaan PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan Quality of Work Life memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lama Kerja merupakan variabel moderating yang memperkuat terhadap hubungan antara Quality of Work Life dengan Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction through employee engagement and to determine the effect of employee empowerment on job satisfaction through employee engagement. The population in this study were 120 employees of PT. Astra International Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (SM Raja Branch). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. The employee empowerment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee empowerment pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Astra Internasional Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (Cabang SM Raja) yang berjumlah 120 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement. Empolyee empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement.
