Abstract

This research aims to evaluates a financial performance at PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk, PT Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk, and PT Tjiwi Kimia Paper Mill Tbk in the Indonesian chemical manufacturing industry for the 2019–2023 period using descriptive methodologies and a qualitative approach. In addition to other sources like articles and journals, secondary data was collected from the financial and annual reports of businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The results of the analysis show that PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk has excellent liquidity and operational efficiency, indicating the company's ability to meet short-term obligations and practice prudent asset management. The most successful business, as determined by ROA and ROE, is PT Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk, which makes efficient use of equity and assets. With the highest dividend and the lowest debt-to-asset ratio, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk stands out in terms of funding stability and offers investors alluring rewards. In order to increase the competitiveness of Indonesia's chemical manufacturing industry, managers, investors, and policymakers should utilize this study's summary of financial performance as a strategic guide.

Abstract

This article explains the impact analysis of Starlink's entry into the telecommunications industry in Indonesia. In the modern era, the telecommunications industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly, but still faces geographical challenges and limited infrastructure. The telecommunications market in Indonesia is dominated by several large players, such as Telkomsel, XL Axiata, and Indosat, which control more than 95% of the market share. However, the presence of Starlink, a satellite internet network project owned by SpaceX, has changed the dynamics of this competition. Starlink offers high-speed internet connectivity without the need for fiber optic cable infrastructure, making it effective in reaching remote areas that are difficult to reach by traditional technology. By using thousands of small satellites in low orbit, Starlink offers a stable and reliable internet connection with low latency. This analysis uses a literature review method to compare and analyze theories related to oligopoly and technological innovation. The results show that Starlink has the potential to trigger innovation and improve the quality of service in the Indonesian telecommunications industry. Although initially expensive, Starlink is believed to become cheaper if demand increases, thus encouraging local providers to innovate and increase their service coverage.

Abstract

International trade plays a crucial role in the economic growth of a country, including Indonesia. However, in recent decades, the national dairy industry has faced increasingly complex challenges due to trade liberalization and import policies. The impact of this policy was the milk dumping case that occurred in Boyolal. This incident attracted national attention and raised fundamental questions regarding the sustainability of the dairy farming sector in Indonesia. Using the narrative literature review method, namely comparing and analyzing previously existing theories. The literature review study used is conducting a comprehensive literature review on the topic discussed, including reference sources such as scientific journals, books and other references. International Trade, Trade Liberalization Concept. Milk Trade Liberalization Policy in Indonesia, Especially Regarding Imports, Dairy Cattle Farmers, Boyolali, Impact of Import Policy on Dairy Cattle Farmers, dairy farmers protest the policy of restricting local milk quotas to the Industrial Processing Industry (IPS). This policy causes local cow's milk to not be absorbed by factories, to accumulate and be wasted. Government policy solution for local Boyolali milk farmers. International trade plays an important role in the economic growth of a country, including Indonesia. However, the dairy industry in Indonesia has faced complex challenges in recent decades due to trade liberalization and import policies. The most significant impact of this policy was the dumping of excess milk in Boyolali, Central Java. strict on milk imports, introducing import tariffs protects local farmers from unfair price competition.

Abstract

Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Memahami konsep media sosial juga prestasi belajar, 2) Menilai pengaruh baik dan buruk yang ditimbulkan oleh internet, 3) Mengidentifikasi keuntungan media sosial terhadap hasil belajar siswa, 4) Menganalisis keterkaitan antara aktivitas di media sosial dengan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan mengacu pada hasil kajian jurnal yang relevan mengenai akibat media sosial terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Data yang dianalisis berfokus pada pengaruh media sosial terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, media sosial memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap prestasi belajar, baik yang bersifat baik maupun buruk. Oleh karena itu, Peran penting orang tua dan guru diperlukan untuk Membimbing siswa memanfaatkan media sosial dalam rangka meningkatkan prestasi belajar mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to determine socio-economic and analyze the fulfillment of the food patterns of low-income people in Korumba Village. This research was carried out from May to July 2024. The subjects of this research were the people of Korumba Village, focused on people who have low income using descriptive analysis and PPH Expected Food Pattern score. The results of the first research are the socio-economic characteristics that influence food fulfillment including age with an average of 42.7, level of education with an average of 7.6, number of members with an average of 3.7, and jobs dominated by agricultural commodity traders. Secondly, the consumption patterns of low-income people living in dominated by the staple food group as a source of carbohydrates in the form of grains at 86.4%. peoples consumption patterns have also not been diversified, this can be seen from the PPH score of 55.9%, which is still far from the ideal score of 100

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing employee job satisfaction in retail companies. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with employees from various departments within a retail company. The findings reveal several key factors affecting job satisfaction, including a conducive work environment, harmonious relationships between colleagues and supervisors, recognition and appreciation for performance, and a healthy work-life balance. These findings indicate that retail companies need to pay attention to non-financial aspects that directly impact employee motivation and comfort. By understanding these factors, companies can enhance employee performance and reduce turnover rates. This study is expected to serve as a reference for retail management in formulating policies that support employee well-being and productivity.

Abstract

The younger generation's interest in traditional food, partly due to limited digital promotion and accessibility, raises concerns about the preservation of Makassar's culinary heritage. This research aims to design and implement AntarRasa, a web-based food ordering information system to facilitate online access to traditional foods while strengthening local cultural identity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical method, with data collected through structured interviews and user observations, then thematically analyzed and validated to ensure its accuracy and reliability. The system was developed with features including registration, login, home, about, menu, gallery, and order, and tested using white-box and black-box verification methods. The results of the study showed that the system functions effectively, meets user needs, and provides convenience in ordering traditional food. In conclusion, AntarRasa supports the preservation and promotion of culture by integrating technology with culinary heritage and can serve as a model for similar applications in the context of other regional foods.

Abstract

Tourist attraction managers can improve visitor satisfaction by optimizing their human resources. This means that this study was conducted to determine how visiting tourists assess service management. The main factor in consumer satisfaction is their perception of the quality of service received. The expected results are to provide information about this service management process to help tourists assess staff performance during the operation of Lembang Park & Zoo. This study uses a quantitative approach design, using a descriptive method approach with a data collection technique, namely a survey. . By distributing questionnaires and google forms. Other populations are visitors who are active in the Lembang Park & Zoo area, which is 410,000. then the number of samples to be taken in this study is 100 tourists. The sampling technique in this study uses simple random sampling. Visitor service management has a strong correlation with visitor satisfaction at Lembang Park & Zoo, because the service provided by a destination is an effective thing that must ensure that the quality of service provided to visitors is consistent and satisfactory, including the speed in responding to complaints and the availability of friendly and trained staff to improve visitor satisfaction. Affirming that visitor service management is not only important in daily operations but is important in improving the image of a good destination and the attractiveness of a tourist destination. Visitor satisfaction has been shown to increase when their interactions with visitor service staff are positive and satisfying, meaning that this shows that in reliable service can bring benefits can greatly help tourist destinations by increasing visitor satisfaction and making tourists come back.

Abstract

This research takes the form of a meta-analysis aiming to encompass findings regarding the influence of the cooperative learning model called Group Investigation (GI) on high school students' physics learning outcomes. It aims to identify the independent variable, which is cooperative learning, and the dependent variable, which is high school students' physics learning outcomes. The study includes 20 journal articles on the Group Investigation cooperative learning model that align with the research objectives. The average effect size calculation resulted in an average effect size of 0.86. The average effect size based on the learning outcomes of the Group Investigation type was 0.80. It was observed that the highest level based on the class level was achieved in Grade XI with an effect size of 0.97, while Grade X also attained a high effect size. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model, especially in Grade XI of high school. The overall percentage of journal articles categorized by effect size is as follows: high impact category 20%, very high impact category 10%, high category 20%, moderate category 30%, and finally, a small impact category with 20%. From the analysis, it's evident that journals on the Group Investigation cooperative learning model are highly relevant for use in the learning process due to their influence on students' physics learning outcomes in high school.

Abstract

Identifikasi merupakan suatu tindakan yang dilakukan dengan proses mencari, menemukan, meneliti, mencatat data dan informasi mengenai seseorang atau sesuatu. Identifikasi morfologi tumbuhan tingkat tinggi adalah langkah awal yang penting dalam pemahaman dan taksonomi tumbuhan, serta memberikan landasan untuk berbagai aspek penelitian biologi dan konservasi alam. Tumbuhan tingkat tinggi adalah kelompok tumbuhan yang tingkat perkembangannya sudah tinggi karena sudah memiliki akar, batang, dan daun sejati.Tumbuhan tingkat tinggi juga disebut Phanerogamae. Penelitian ini dilakukan di area kampus II Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, yang terletak di Jl. William Iskandar Ps. V, Medan Estate, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara 20371. Waktu penelitian berlangsung mulai dari tanggal 27 September 2023 hingga 10 Oktober 2023. Sebelumnya, penelitian tentang identifikasi tumbuhan tingkat tinggi sudah pernah dilakukan. Salah satu penelitian terkait dengan identifikasi tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang salah satunya adalah Identifikasi Tumbuhan Tingkat Tinggi (Phanerogamae) Di Kampus di Uinsu (Hartono et all, 2020). Namun penelitian sebelumnya belum sepenuhnya membahasa menganai ciri dari tumbuhan yang telah di temukan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merasa perlu dilakukan identifikasi yang lebih focus pada ciri morfologi tumbuhan Phanerogamae, agar lebih mengetahui Keanekaragaman tumbuhan tingkat tinggi di Kampus II UINSU.
