Abstract

Due to the queries of whether the implementation of contextual teaching strategy in teaching Islamic education is in line with Al-Quran and Hadits or not, the research tries to search for the historical facts, and the relevant verses in Al-Quran and Hadits. This was a qualitative research describing whether the contextual teaching consisting of seven components have relevance and strong base in islamic tradition. The result shows the contextual teaching principles such as, constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modelling, reflection, and authentic assessment have strong relation and foundation in Al-Quran, Hadits, and Islamic history. It can be concluded that contextual teaching is applicable in teaching Islamic education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of student discipline at school. This study aims to 1) to find out how the level of reward and punishment is given at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis 2) to find out how the level of student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis 3) to find out how the effect of giving reward and punishment on student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis. This research uses quantitative correlational research. The population in this study was 587 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis. The sample technique for this study was random sampling of 71 students with details of 23 students (class X E6), 24 students (class XI F2) and 24 students (class XII.S2) SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive data analysis and hypothesis testing, with reward (X1) and punishment (X2) as independent variables and student discipline (Y) as the dependent variable using SPSS version 26. Based on the research results obtained through a questionnaire 1) The level of reward is on average (Mean) 46.62 as many as 66% of students are in the medium category. 2) The level of punishment is proven by an average of 73.31, as many as 63% of students are in the medium category. 3) There is an influence between reward and punishment on student discipline as evidenced by the R square test of 0.485 (48.5%) which shows that there is an influence between the independent variables and the dependent variable.

Abstract

This research is based on a lack of understanding regarding the influence of the "Kajian Dhuha" activity on the level of spiritual intelligence among students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Therefore, the Qatulistiwa Islam Spiritual Activities Unit at Universitas Negeri Padang organized this "Kajian Dhuha" activity. The objective of this study is to assess the extent to which the "Kajian Dhuha" activity can impact the level of spiritual intelligence among students at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method, which is a type of non-experimental research involving the measurement of two variables by the researcher, followed by the analysis and evaluation of the statistical relationship between them, without considering the influence of external variables. The population consists of all students at Universitas Negeri Padang who participated in the "Kajian Dhuha" activity, totaling 937 individuals during the semesters of July-December 2022 and January-June 2023. The research sample includes 90 students who participated in the "Kajian Dhuha" activity during the same periods. The research findings indicate that the "Kajian Dhuha" activity conducted by Qatulistiwa Islam has an influence on the spiritual intelligence of students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The study further explains that the values of the "Kajian Dhuha" activity and spiritual intelligence are correlated, as evidenced by the statistical analysis using SPSS version 29. The normality test yielded a significance value of 0.008, indicating that the data is normally distributed (0.008 > 0.05). The simple linear regression test for the "Kajian Dhuha" activity variable (X) resulted in a value of 1.220, indicating a positive impact of the independent variable, "Kajian Dhuha" activity (X), on students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Regarding spiritual intelligence, the normality test produced a value of 0.158, also indicating a normal distribution. The simple linear regression test for the spiritual intelligence variable (Y) yielded a value of 6.824, indicating a positive impact of the dependent variable, Spiritual Intelligence (Y), on students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The influence on the spiritual intelligence of students at Universitas Negeri Padang was further confirmed by the F-test result, where the calculated F-value was 252.654, exceeding the tabulated F-value of 3.099, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In other words, the "Kajian Dhuha" activity significantly influences the spiritual intelligence of students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The coefficient of determination analysis resulted in an R-squared value of 0.742, indicating that 74.2% of the variation in the dependent variable (Spiritual Intelligence) can be explained by the independent variable (Kajian Dhuha activity), while the remaining 26% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that there is a strong influence between the "Kajian Dhuha" activity (X) and Spiritual Intelligence (Y) among students at Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of peer interaction on adolescent religious behavior in Korong Batiah-BatiahNagariGadur, Six Lingkung District. The research method used in this research is quantitative using correlational methods. The population of this study were teenagers who were in Korong Batiah-Batiah, totaling 60 teenagers. Data on peer interaction and religious behavior were obtained from questionnaires, in which the questionnaire met the validity and reliability requirements of the instrument. The data analysis technique in this study uses simple linear regression analysis, which meets the requirements of the classical assumption test (normality and linearity), f-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the f-test analysis, it was obtained f count = 20,984 ? f table = 4.00, then the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (r2) obtained the value of r2 = 26.6%, which means that the peer interaction variable is influenced by religious behavior variables by 26.6% and the remaining 73.4% is influenced by other factors. So it can be seen that if someone gathers with people who are diligent in worship or pray in congregation, then he will be like that and if he gathers with someone who likes to gamble, then more or less he will be like that too.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss teacher strategies in overcoming obstacles to the use of PAI learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA N 1 Harau. This type of research is descriptive research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection comes from interviews and observations, as well as documentation. Interviews were conducted with five informants, consisting of two pie subject teachers and two class IX students and another informant from class XII. The research was conducted from June to July. This research consists of two cycles, namely the planning and implementation stages. To obtain research data, four data collection tools were used, namely field notes, tests, observation and documentation. In the planning stage, the PAI teacher prepares a list of questions according to the research for the resource persons. Furthermore, at the implementation stage, the researcher processes data related to the research. In order to obtain information on the strategies and efforts of teachers in overcoming obstacles to the use of learning media.

The learning process is still centered on the teacher which causes students to interact less and be less active during learning. This has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. So it is necessary to apply various learning models that are in accordance with the material being taught so that students can be more active in participating in the learning process such as applying the jigsaw cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the jigsaw cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of PAI in class X at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur. The research method used is a Quasi Experiment with a Post Test Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all students in class X MIPA 1 – X MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur for the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 5 classes with a total of 180 people. Determination of the sample used in this study by purposive sampling technique so that class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class with a total of 36 people in each class. The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite test, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, then a hypothesis test was carried out. The results of data analysis showed that there was a difference between the average experimental class learning outcomes with a value of 81.63 and the average control class with a value of 71.01. Based on the hypothesis test using the t test obtained T count (5.158) > T table (2.345) so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on PAI learning outcomes in class X at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur.

Abstract

In the learning process of Islamic Religious Education, many students are less active so it is necessary to apply the right learning model, one of which is by using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model. This study aims to determine how the application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model can increase student learning activeness and what are the advantages and disadvantages of applying the NHT learning model in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA N 1 Sutera. This type of research is qualitative research with the subject of students of class XII IPA 1 at SMA N 1 Sutera totaling 36 people. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the NHT learning model carried out by the teacher by giving numbers and the task for each number in the group to convey the results of the discussion according to the number called makes student activeness in PAI subjects increase. The advantage of the NHT model is that it can increase student activeness and sense of responsibility. The weakness lies in the limited time due to the large number of students.

Abstract

Getting along should be a relationship between fellow human beings. Human to another human being is established through a time-cycle process that is relatip long time then influenced and influenced in increasing learning motivation, it is necessary driving force that stimulates interest in learning and allows for continuous learning. Continuous learning. Through learning motivation can be interpreted as a reciprocal force through one's internal and external self when carrying out the learning process. When carrying out the learning process. The study aims to determine the effect of socialization on the learning motivation of UNP 2020 PAI students. Quantitative research through the type of correlation and in the organization through statistical analysis techniques descriptive statistical analysis technique. Data collection presents primary data as well as validity and reliability tests. Through determining the sample of 2020 PAI students as many as 60 people. The whole data is allocated based on instrument questionnaires from the socialization and learning motivation variables. Overall results of the data analysis were calculated and tested through statistical calculations and correlation of the mean found using SPSS software. The data results attach a positive significant vibes of association to learning motivation 59.3%. The results show that overall socialization has a significant influence on learning motivation, meaning that learning motivation is influenced by socialization. is influenced by socialization. Researchers recommend that be smart in choose socialization.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the planning of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in fostering critical thinking skills in Class XI F1 for Islamic Religious Education subjects; 2) the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in developing critical thinking skills in Class XI F1 for Islamic Religious Education subjects; 3) the challenges and efforts faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in nurturing critical thinking in Class XI F1 for Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that, first, in the planning stage, teachers attended training, prepared teaching modules that included learning objectives, teaching models, learning activities, and assessment/evaluation. Second, the implementation involved preparatory activities such as preparing media/tools and motivating students in line with the Pancasila Student Profile. The core activities included activities 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, while closing activities consisted of summarizing the lesson, reflecting, providing information about future learning, and concluding with a prayer. Third, the challenges faced by teachers included inadequate training and continued use of lecture-based methods. The efforts made to address these challenges included attending further training and mastering various teaching models.
