Abstract

This study aims to determine how much body fat percentage in male and female students of the Ciamis Regency Public High School 3 basketball team. To the objectives of the study above, the author uses survey methods using test and measurement techniques. The population of this study was male students and female students of SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis Regency totaling 30 people consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. The research instrument used to collect the data was the measurement of fat percentage using a skinfold tool. Based on data analysis using SPSS series 22, the results of data processing are as follows: 1. The lowest description of fat measurement data in men was 16.50 and the highest description of fat measurement data was 37.90. The lowest fat measurement data description in the princess was 19.20 and the highest fat measurement data description was 35.60.2. The normality data for the female is 0.938 > 0.05 and the normality data for the male is 0.729 > 0.05 meaning that the data for the male and female are normally distributed, 3. The body fat percentage value for the girls was 26.55% while the body fat percentage value for the boys was 26.01%. The results showed that the measurement of body fat percentage in male and female students of SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis Regency was included in the excess category of the norm, namely 15-20% of the normal category for boys and the norm of 20-25% of the normal category for girls.

Abstract

The addition of performance to improve body balance of both leg muscles as the goal of training two independent variables, namely one leg diagonal chop and single leg balance twist. This study applied a pre-experimental design and used a two-group design plan given before and after training or treatment. The research location was at MAN 3 Ciamis Regency. The sample taken in this study were athletes aged 17-18 years totaling 20 male futsal extracurricular. The test instrument used was a standing stork test-blind. The statistical process used SPSS 26. This study resulted in: 1. one leg diagonal chop training has a significant effect on improving body balance. 2. Single leg balance twist training has a significant effect on improving body balance. 3. There is a significant difference between one leg diagonal chop training and single leg balance twist training on improving body balance. Conclusion: One Leg Diagonal Chop Training with Single Leg Balance Twist Training on Improving Body Balance and can be used as one of the recommended training for body balance.

Abstract

The effective utilisation of citizen generated complaint data as a strategic input for evidence informed public policy continues to present challenges for local government institutions. This study investigates the utilisation of SP4N LAPOR complaint data in the public policy making processes of the Madiun Regency Government. SP4N LAPOR is Indonesia’s national public service complaint management system designed to enable citizens to submit feedback, grievances, and recommendations directly to relevant government agencies. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, the study draws on data collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis of relevant institutional materials. The findings indicate that, despite a marked increase in SP4N LAPOR complaint submissions from 2020 to 2024, the integration of this data into formal public policy formulation remains limited. Complaint data are predominantly used for administrative reporting and performance monitoring rather than as analytical evidence to inform policy decisions. Key constraints include institutional fragmentation, limitations in technical system interoperability, and inadequate analytical capacity within human resources. These factors collectively diminish the potential of complaint data to support evidence-based governance. Consequently, this study recommends strengthening analytical competencies among public officials, institutionalising a dedicated complaint data analysis unit, and integrating SP4N LAPOR with planning and budgeting platforms to enhance the utilisation of citizen feedback for responsive and data driven public policy making. Unlike previous research that used SP4N LAPOR as an instrument for the effectiveness of complaint services, this study places complaint data as the analytical foundation for evidence informed public policy at the local government level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of TRX jump squat training on increasing leg muscle power in extracurricular bolavoli students at SMAN 1 Sukadana. The research method used was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all members of the extracurricular bolavoli SMAN 1 Sukadana, with a sample of 20 people selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to measure leg muscle power is the vertical jump test. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test test. The results showed a significance value (p) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05 (α=0.05). This indicates that there is a significant effect of TRX Jump Squat training on increasing leg muscle power. Thus, TRX Jump Squat training can be recommended as one of the training methods to increase the leg muscle power of bolavoli athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smash drilling exercises and random systems on the accuracy of badminton smashes. The method used was an experiment with a Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was badminton athletes from the RR Wings Cilacap club, with a sample size of 20 people divided into two treatment groups. The instrument used was a smash accuracy test. The first hypothesis test used the paired sample t-test technique on the drilling smash group, yielding a calculated t-value of -13.882, with degrees of freedom (df) = 9 and a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. Since the significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. This indicates that there is a significant effect of drilling smash training on the accuracy of badminton smash shots. The second hypothesis test based on the results of the paired sample t-test on the random pattern training group yielded a t-value of -14.625, with degrees of freedom (df) = 9 and a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. Since the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect of random pattern training on improving the accuracy of badminton smash shots. The third hypothesis test based on the ANOVA results shows that smash drilling training has a significant effect on the accuracy of badminton smash shots, with an F value of 82.050 and significance of 0.000. Similarly, random pattern system training also shows a significant effect, with an F value of 116.502 and significance = 0.000. Since the significance values of both groups are less than 0.05, it can be concluded that both types of training have a significant effect on improving smash accuracy.The higher F value in the random pattern system group indicates a greater effect compared to the smash drilling group. Thus, the random pattern system training can be considered an alternative training strategy for improving smash accuracy.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan drilling smash dan sistem acak terhadap ketepatan pukulan smash bulutangkis. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet bulutangkis dari klub RR Wings Cilacap, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 orang yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan sistem pola acak terhadap peningkatan ketepatan pukulan smash bulutangkis. Uji hipotesis ketiga berdasarkan hasil uji ANOVA, diketahui bahwa latihan drilling smash memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap ketepatan pukulan smash bulutangkis, dengan nilai F = 82.050 dan signifikansi = 0.000. Demikian pula, latihan sistem pola acak juga menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, dengan nilai F = 116.502 dan signifikansi = 0.000. Karena nilai signifikansi kedua kelompok lebih kecil dari 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan ketepatan smash.Nilai F yang lebih tinggi pada kelompok sistem pola acak menunjukkan pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan kelompok drilling smash. Dengan demikian, latihan sistem pola acak dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pelatihan untuk peningkatan akurasi smash.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas perbandingan antara metode latihan manual split dan split leg extension dalam meningkatkan fleksibilitas otot tungkai pada atlet pencak silat di Sekolah Gajah Putih Cihaurbeuti Ciamis. Fleksibilitas otot tungkai berperan krusial dalam menunjang teknik menendang terbaik, meningkatkan jangkauan gerak, dan mengurangi kemungkinan cedera. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 atlet yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok A melakukan latihan manual split dan kelompok B menggunakan alat bantu split leg extension, masing-masing selama 4 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali seminggu. Alat ukur fleksibilitas menggunakan tes V Sit and Reach yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua teknik latihan tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan fleksibilitas (p = 0,000 pada uji-t sampel berpasangan). Kelompok split manual menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 4,50 cm (dari 23,80 cm menjadi 28,30 cm), sedangkan kelompok split leg extension menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 6,20 cm (dari 24,50 cm menjadi 30,70 cm). Hasil uji-t sampel independen menunjukkan nilai p = 0,003 (<0,05), yang menunjukkan perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan antara kedua metode. Oleh karena itu, latihan split leg extension terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan fleksibilitas otot tungkai dibandingkan metode split manual. Temuan ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi pelatih dan atlet pencak silat dalam merancang program latihan fleksibilitas yang lebih efektif berdasarkan bukti ilmiah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas antara metode latihan split manual dan split leg extension dalam meningkatkan pembekuan otot kaki pada atlet pencak silat di Perguruan Gajah Putih Cihaurbeuti Ciamis. Sampel terdiri dari 20 atlet yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok A melakukan latihan split manual dan kelompok B menggunakan alat bantu split leg extension, masing-masing selama 4 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali seminggu. Alat ukur permulaannya menggunakan tes V Sit and Reach yang telah dimodifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua teknik latihan memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perbaikan perbaikan (p = 0,000 pada uji t-sampel berpasangan). Kelompok split manual menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata 4,50 cm (dari 23,80 cm menjadi 28,30 cm), sedangkan kelompok split leg extension menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata 6,20 cm (dari 24,50 cm menjadi 30,70 cm). Hasil uji t-test sampel independen menunjukkan nilai p = 0,003 (< 0,05) yang menandakan adanya perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan antara kedua metode. Oleh karena itu, latihan split leg extension terbukti lebih ampuh dalam meningkatkan kesehatan otot kaki dibandingkan metode split manual. Penemuan ini dapat menjadi panduan menjadi bagi pelatih dan atlet pencak silat dalam menyusun program latihan yang lebih efektif dan berbasis pada bukti ilmiah.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIntensive physical activity often leads to muscle soreness, which, if left untreated, can decrease movement quality and functional performance. Sport massage is a popular non-pharmacological recovery method; however, research focusing on its effectiveness based on specific body areas in non-athlete individuals within the context of Physical Education remains limited.This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of sport massage in reducing muscle pain complaints based on specific body areas in adults.This study employed a descriptive quantitative design. The subjects consisted of 376 adults with muscle pain complaints. The intervention was performed by 109 senior Physical Education students as field practitioners. The research instrument used a numerical scale (1–4) to measure the level of comfort/pain reduction before and after the intervention across eight major body areas. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.The results showed that sport massage is highly effective in reducing muscle pain, with a total average score of 3.57 out of 4.0 (89.3%). The calf area was the most responsive to the intervention (92.1%), followed by the back (90.9%), while the gluteal area showed the lowest response score (82.4%).Sport massage is a highly effective recovery method for addressing muscle pain in adults. Variations in effectiveness across body areas suggest the need for adjustments in technique and pressure based on anatomical muscle characteristics to achieve optimal results.Keywords: Sport Massage, Muscle Pain, Physical Recovery, Physical Education.ABSTRAKAktivitas fisik yang intens sering kali menyebabkan nyeri otot yang jika tidak ditangani dapat menurunkan kualitas gerak dan performa fungsional. Sport massage merupakan metode pemulihan non-farmakologis yang populer, namun penelitian yang berfokus pada efektivitasnya berdasarkan area tubuh tertentu pada individu non-atlet dalam konteks Pendidikan Jasmani masih terbatas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas sport massage terhadap penurunan tingkat keluhan nyeri otot berdasarkan area tubuh tertentu pada individu dewasa.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 376 individu dewasa yang memiliki keluhan nyeri otot. Intervensi dilakukan oleh 109 mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi Pendidikan Jasmani sebagai praktisi lapangan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala numerik (1–4) untuk mengukur tingkat kenyamanan/penurunan nyeri sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada delapan area tubuh utama. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sport massage sangat efektif dalam menurunkan nyeri otot dengan skor rata-rata total 3,57 dari 4,0 (89,3%). Area betis merupakan area yang paling responsif terhadap intervensi (92,1%), diikuti oleh punggung (90,9%), sedangkan area pantat menunjukkan skor respons terendah (82,4%).Sport massage merupakan metode pemulihan yang sangat efektif untuk mengatasi nyeri otot pada individu dewasa. Variasi efektivitas antar area tubuh menunjukkan perlunya penyesuaian teknik dan tekanan (pressure) berdasarkan karakteristik anatomis otot untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.Kata Kunci: Sport Massage, Nyeri Otot, Pemulihan Fisik, Pendidikan Jasmani
