Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, teenagers tend to spend more time on social media. The FOMO phenomenon is very susceptible to teenagers, because they are in the phase of searching for identity. At this stage, teenagers are highly influenced by their social environment and have a high need to be accepted by their group. This condition gives rise to the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) phenomenon, which is thought to affect self-esteem levels. This study aims to determine the effect of FOMO on self-esteem in teenagers at SMAN 1 Sreseh, Sampang. The method in this study is a comparative causal quantitative approach (Linear Regression). A total of 82 respondents were the objects of this study. Before measuring the effect, an assumption test was conducted that was fully met. The linearity test showed a significance value of 0,280, so the relationship between the variables is linear. The results of the regression test showed a positive and significant influence between FOMO and self-esteem, with a significance value of 0,000 (<0,05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0,353 indicates that FOMO contributed 35,3% to students' self-esteem. This study provides a new perspective that FOMO is not always negative, but can be a way for students to maintain their social presence in their social circle.

Abstract

The use of innovative BK Media during the COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge that must be faced by the guidance and counseling profession in Indonesia. Students as agents of change are required to be more adaptive in contributing media solutions that are in accordance with the current characteristics of students. However, the majority of students are still not familiar with the use of image and video editing software using a laptop/PC. Other data found is the condition of the use of BK media still using smartphones. Students still experience internet network problems, lack of knowledge of photo or video editing that can be used in providing counseling services. The photo or video editing applications on smartphones that are used include pixellap, snapseet, canva, tiktok, and kinemaster are only used for self-existence not to be used to create BK service content. Based on these problems, it is necessary to hold training on making infographic posters and educational cinema for prospective counselors so that they are able to provide maximum service to students. The methods used include: (1) socialization, (2) training practice, (3) monitoring & evaluation. The results of the training participants' service activities were able to increase the competence of participants in developing infographic poster media and educational cinema. Abstract

Belajar merupakan suatu proses yang ditandai dengan adanya perubahan dalam diri seseorang baik pengetahuannya, pemahamannya, sikap dan tingkah lakunya maupun keterampilannya. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, bahwa yang melatarbelakangi minimnya semangat para siswa dalam belajar karena terdapat berbagai masalah khususnya masalah keluarga, terkendala ekonomi juga fasilitas belajar yang kurang memadai, seperti halnya yang terjadi pada siswa di SDN 1 Lungkuh Layang yaitu tempat dilaksanakannya PKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab dan metode diskusi kelompok dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 1 Lungkuh Layang dalam menempuh pendidikan. Pengabdian ini penting mengingat minat dan motivasi belajar adalah hal yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa untuk menyelesaikan studinya. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa, siswa lebih merasa bersemangat untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jika metode pembelajaran yang digunakan mampu membawa mereka untuk aktif mengikuti pembelajaran tersebut. Melalui model pembelajaran PBL para siswa lebih terampil dalam berpikir kritis ketika belajar, selain itu siswa lebih mampu bekerja sama menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Civic Education learning at SDN 106162 Medan Estate. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Through in-depth interviews and direct observations of fourth-grade teachers, the research gained a profound understanding of the influence of curriculum changes on teaching methods, learning materials, and learning outcomes in Civic Education. The data analysis results indicated the impact of the curriculum transition on Civic Education learning at SDN 106162 Medan Estate, which included significant changes in teaching approaches, adjustments to learning materials, and shifts in student learning achievements. These findings provided a deep understanding of the application of the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of Civic Education learning at the school and offered a comprehensive overview of the adaptations made by teachers and students in response to curriculum changes. The research results concluded that the Merdeka Curriculum brought changes in the organization of subjects and names of Citizenship Education subjects, but still had similar educational goals with an approach to make students more active and independent. The research is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of more effective teaching strategies in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at the elementary education level. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengimplementasian Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SDN 106162 Medan Estate. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung terhadap para guru kelas IV, penelitian ini memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai pengaruh perubahan kriteria terhadap metode pengajaran, materi pembelajaran, dan hasil pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan dampak transisi kurikulum terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SDN 106162 Medan Estate, yang mencakup perubahan signifikan dalam pendekatan pengajaran, penyesuaian materi pembelajaran, serta perubahan dalam pencapaian pembelajaran siswa. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam terkait penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam konteks pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di sekolah tersebut, serta memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka membawa perubahan dalam pengorganisasian mata pelajaran dan nama mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, tetapi tetap memiliki tujuan pendidikan yang serupa dengan pendekatan untuk membuat siswa lebih aktif dan mandiri. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang lebih efektif dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

 Indonesia is an agrarian country with great potential in the agricultural sector, particularly in key commodities such as rice and corn, which play an important role in food security and animal feed. However, limited resources such as land, fertilizer, and labor pose challenges in achieving production efficiency and maximum profits. This study aims to optimize agricultural land allocation to maximize profits using a linear programming model. The case study was conducted on agricultural land owned by a resident of Bajo Village, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Primary data was collected through direct interviews, including land area, input requirements (fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, and labor), and profit per hectare. The model was solved using the graphical method with the assistance of POM-QM for Windows and Google Colab application. The analysis results indicate that the optimal land allocation is 3.65 hectares for rice and 2.54 hectares for corn, yielding a maximum profit of Rp58.906.350,00. This solution meets all available resource constraints. These findings indicate that the linear programming approach is effective in helping farmers make data-driven decisions to improve land and resource management efficiency. The application of this model also opens opportunities for the implementation of similar methods in other sustainable agricultural planning, particularly in the context of small-scale agriculture with limited resources.

Abstract

The complexity of internal conflicts between married couples often requires the presence of professionals to resolve problems and increase the psychological intimacy of couples. This research aims to understand the realization of family guidance and counseling services carried out by the IAIN Madura counseling service center for families who need help. Using a curative retrospective case study approach allows for follow-up efforts to improve a case with research subjects 3 families using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection uses open interviews, direct observation, archival service records, and documentation, as well as data analysis using a spiral model. The results of the research showed that 2 research subjects succeeded in resolving internal conflicts after receiving family counseling services with a minimum of 4 meetings, and 1 research subject was not able to resolve the conflict they experienced and needed a referral to another professional because the anxiety they experienced was experiencing an abnormality. The research conclusion is that family counseling services can help overcome internal conflicts in couples to increase and maintain harmony in the family.

Abstract

Literasi visual dan stres akademik merupakan isu penting dalam pendidikan abad ke-21, khususnya pada siswa Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) yang menghadapi tantangan identitas budaya sekaligus tuntutan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas pembelajaran sains berbasis praktikum dalam mengembangkan literasi memahami gambar sekaligus mereduksi stres akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen one group pre-test and post-test pada 25 siswa kelas VII dengan instrumen tes literasi visual dan kuesioner stres akademik SLSI yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai literasi visual meningkat dari 50,8 menjadi 72 dengan uji-t signifikan (p = 0,000 < 0,05), menegaskan praktikum mampu memperkuat kemampuan membaca dan menafsirkan representasi visual sesuai teori konstruktivisme. Selain itu, pengukuran stres akademik terhadap 24 siswa menunjukkan 37% berada pada kategori stres rendah, 63% stres sedang, dan tidak ada yang mengalami stres tinggi, yang berarti praktikum efektif menekan stres akademik. Namun, tingginya proporsi stres sedang menandakan perlunya strategi pendukung seperti manajemen waktu dan dukungan psikososial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis praktikum tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas literasi visual, tetapi juga bermanfaat sebagai pendekatan humanis yang mendukung kesejahteraan akademik siswa dan relevan bagi pengembangan kurikulum abad ke-21.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum it is hoped that 21st century learning can be implemented which reflects four things, namely Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation, Communication, and Collaboration. Teachers need to open space for students to develop their creativity so that they better understand the concepts being studied by designing project-based learning. Projects produced by students are in the form of daily meal menu designs. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the material for arithmetic operations with integers and fractions by applying the Project Based Learning model with the project title 'Track Your Calories' in an effort to provide knowledge to students about the importance of managing a diet according to daily calorie needs while at the same time increasing students' ability to carry out operations. calculate integers and fractions, especially in calculating calories in the food you eat. This research is a classroom action research involving class VII-E with 30 students divided into two cycles. Learning with the PjBL model "Track Your Calories" has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes as indicated by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I with a percentage of 66.67%, and an increase in cycle II, namely 86.67%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of project based learning 'Track Your Calories' can improve learning outcomes in whole number and fraction operations.
