Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital financial literacy on the prudent use of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services among the 2022–2024 cohorts of Economic Education students at Siliwangi University. This research is motivated by the rapid growth of BNPL usage among the younger generation, which is frequently unaccompanied by a sufficient understanding of financial risks, thereby potentially leading to consumptive behavior and bad debt. This study employed a quantitative survey method involving 205 students selected via purposive sampling, with data collected through questionnaires. The results of the simple linear regression analysis yielded the equation y^=11.505+0.791X, indicating that higher digital financial literacy corresponds to more prudent use of BNPL services. These findings confirm a positive and significant influence of digital financial literacy on the prudent use of BNPL and underscore the importance of enhancing digital financial literacy to foster healthier financial behaviors among students.

Abstract

Abstract Financial independence is an important goal for students amid increasing living costs and demands for economic self-reliance. However, many students remain financially dependent on their parents despite having strong intentions to be independent. This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial intention on financial independence and examine the moderating role of entrepreneurial orientation. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The population consisted of students participating in the Liga Bisnis Sosial Siliwangi Program and the Klasik UPA PKKM Program at Universitas Siliwangi in 2025. A total of 167 respondents were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that entrepreneurial intention has a significant effect on financial independence. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation has a significant direct effect and moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and financial independence. These findings highlight the important role of entrepreneurial orientation in strengthening the implementation of students’ entrepreneurial intentions to achieve financial independence.

Abstract

The problems highlighted regarding student learning achievements varied each semester, before, during, and after the pandemic. This study, therefore, aims to determine the role of task technology fit of Google Classroom media using Goodhue and Thompson’s theory. The correspondence between assignments, students' abilities, and the functionality of educational technology evolves in tandem with technological advancements. The alignment between the outcomes, reflected in academic achievements at the end of the semester as a grade point average, needs to be supported by adequate facilities during the learning process. The quantitative method with an explanatory survey was used in this research. The population involved was students of the 2019 economics group at Siliwangi University, with a total sample of 264 students using a proportionate random sampling technique. Data collected through a closed questionnaire were then analyzed with regression techniques. The analysis results demonstrated a constant value (α) of 39.544. It implies that task technology fit (X) was constant or did not change, so learning achievement had a value of 39.544. Meanwhile, the regression coefficient for task technology fit (X) was 0.299, meaning that for every item, the value of task technology fit increased, and learning achievement increased by 0.299 units. The regression coefficient was positive since it illustrated a unidirectional influence between task technology fit and learning achievement. In conclusion, based on the implementation of task technology fit by Goodhue and Thompson’s theory, the task technology fit of Google Classroom media significantly affected learning achievement.
