Abstract

The success of the child's social adjustment related to the concept of self. To improve self concept interventions among others through art therapy. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of art therapy for children's self-concept. This study was conducted using experiments and involving 21 children. Experiment in the form of art therapy treatment by using images as the media, held for five sessions, each session lasting 90 minutes. Five sessions of art therapy implementation consists of (1) the session to know yourself, (2) I am among friends, (3) I am and my surroundings, (4) I am and the Indonesian people as well as (5) my goal. Method of data collection using self-concept scale and interviews were then analyzed by t-test. The results showed that art therapy is effective to increase in the child's self-concept. Thus, if the concept of a low child, the child immediately treated the art therapy to improve the concept itself.

Abstract

Successful motherhood in educating children requires learning how to best care for children. Excellent parenting programs make it easier for mothers to better care for their children. The study aim was to examine the effect of "excellent parenting program" on the authoritative parenting patterns of mothers. A total number of 14 mothers were involved in this study.  A quasi-experimental method was used. Data was collected using the authoritative parenting scale, and analyzed using t-test. The result shows that the excellent parenting program has a positive effect on the improvement of mothers authoritative parenting. This study concludes that the excellent parenting program provides benefits for mothers to improve their authoritative parenting skills.Key words: Authoritative parenting, excellent parenting program, mother. Abstrak: Sukses menjadi ibu dalam mendidik anak memerlukan belajar bagaimana mengasuh yang terbaik untuk anak. Program excellent parenting membantu memudahkan ibu dalam menerapkan pola pengasuhan anak secara otoritatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh program excellent parenting terhadap pola pengasuhan otoritatif ibu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen terhadap 14 ibu. Pengumpulan data penelitian berupa skala pola pengasuhan otoritatif. Analisis data menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa œprogram excellent parenting memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pola asuh otoritatif ibu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program excellent parenting bermanfaat bagi para ibu untuk meningkatkan pola asuh otoritatif.

Language ability is one of the basic skills that must be trained from pre-school age. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the digital storytelling method to improve early childhood language skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design, pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of RAMNU Citra Kartini which were divided into a control group and an experimental group. Measurement of language skills is done by means of a checklist of early childhood language skills. The results of the study were analyzed using the paired sample t-test technique with a Sig value. 0.000 (<0.05) and 0.092 (>0.05) respectively in the control and experimental groups with a large effect size value of 1.623, so the digital storytelling method is very effective for improving early childhood language skills and can be applied in learning early childhood language.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited knowledge of teachers in creating visual support programs for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It is essential for teachers to increase their knowledge base in creating programs specifically designed for ASD children. Therefore, this study aims to empirically examine the effect of a visual support program to increase the knowledge of teachers in creating visual support programs for ASD children using a pre-experiment with one group pretest-post test design. The participants are nine teachers of ASD children, and non-parametric statistical analysis is conducted to test the difference in knowledge scores before and after administering the program. The results show that the visual support programs effectively increases the knowledge of teachers in making visual support with sig. .01 and effect size of 72%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the grieving process in women mourning for their husbands. This research uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. The subjects consisted of three people, taken through purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews through interview guidelines made (semi-structured). At the initial stage, data reduction was carried out, then analyzing and presenting data and coding the interview transcripts. This study showed that the three respondents in this study had a positive view of their deceased husbands even though the loss was caused by different things. Their initial response after hearing the sad news was almost the same, namely shock and crying. After that, they tried to adjust and move on with their lives. Although they still feel a sense of longing, they are getting used to their new lives. Regarding the culture of remarriage, they are aware of it, but the subjects prefer to focus on the happiness of the children and let life go on over time.

Abstract

Education has a very vital role in a person's life. He determines and guides the future and direction of a person's life. Even though there are differences in views among society, education is still considered a primary human need. A person's talents and skills can be developed and honed through the educational process. Generally, education level is also used as an indicator of a person's quality. Education includes the process of guiding individuals physically and spiritually towards the formation of a quality personality. In the Islamic context, education has the meaning of a guide to spiritual and physical growth according to Islamic teachings by wisely directing, teaching, training, nurturing and supervising the application of all Islamic values. In this framework, the role of Islamic guidance and counseling in education is an effort to help individuals grow as human beings who develop in the educational aspect, forming a personality that is useful in life with various insights, views, interpretations, choices, adjustments and skills that suit themselves and the environment. Therefore, the importance of Islamic guidance and counseling is emphasized to achieve development and optimization in the educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and learning environment on student academic achievement at UIN Malang, as well as explore the interaction between the two variables. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 students selected using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that learning motivation has a significant positive influence on academic achievement with a regression coefficient of 4.674, while the learning environment also contributes positively with a coefficient of 4.649. In addition, the interaction between learning motivation and learning environment showed a significant moderating effect, albeit with an interaction regression coefficient of -0.064, which suggests that learning environment may reduce the influence of learning motivation in certain contexts. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of creating a conducive learning environment to improve student motivation and academic achievement. This research provides new insights for education managers and educators to design more effective learning strategies, as well as highlighting the need for attention to external factors that influence learning motivation. Thus, this study contributes to the development of science in the field of education, particularly in the context of higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Facing changes in technology and Merdeka Belajar curriculum policies, counselors need to be innovative in counseling services. The challenges of the guidance and counseling profession in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 require adaptation and innovation. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies, utilizing various sources such as books, journals and institutional reports. The role of guidance and counseling teachers is important to align learning with the Merdeka Belajar program, encouraging the development of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The implementation of the Guidance and Counseling service policy in the Minimum Competency Assessment allows for a holistic assessment and develops programs and provides appropriate intervention services. The main goal of Guidance and Counseling teachers is to help students recognize themselves, function as service providers so that each individual can develop optimally, achieve personal needs, and become a complete and independent individual. Menghadapi perubahan teknologi dan kebijakan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, konselor perlu inovatif dalam layanan konseling. Tantangan profesi bimbingan dan konseling pada era revolusi industri 4.0 membutuhkan adaptasi dan inovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, memanfaatkan berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan laporan lembaga. Peran guru bimbingan dan konseling penting untuk menyelaraskan pembelajaran dengan program Merdeka Belajar, mendorong pengembangan High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Penerapan kebijakan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum memungkinkan penilaian holistik dan menyusun program serta memberikan layanan intervensi yang sesuai. Tujuan utama guru Bimbingan dan Konseling adalah membantu peserta didik mengenali diri mereka, berfungsi sebagai penyedia layanan agar setiap individu dapat berkembang optimal, mencapai kebutuhan pribadi, dan menjadi individu utuh serta mandiri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of planning, implementing, observing, and evaluating in nurturing the spirit of edupreneurship in non-permanent teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in other Batu City through digital content creator training. The method used is PAR (Participatory Action Research). The PAR method involves researchers and communities working together to identify and resolve problems. Activities at this planning stage, namely the preparation of training activity materials. This activity was carried out in the form of a focus group discussion (FGD) involving the chairman of the Batu City KKMI, representatives of teachers, researchers, and resource persons. The agreed FGD results. The action stage is actualized with a training event that is divided into two mirrors. First, making learning videos. Both uploads. Observations, observations that have been made in the training obtained weaknesses and strengths experienced by researchers, coordinators, and teachers both in terms of attitudes and obstacles in training such as facilities and infrastructure. Reflection and evaluation activities are in the form of conveying supporting and inhibiting factors during the training activities and giving appreciation to participants
