Abstract

Depression has become a critical mental health issue, especially among college students, with increasing prevalence worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 322 million people globally suffer from the condition, with a prevalence rate of around 3.7% in Indonesia. This research examines the effectiveness of spiritual mindfulness therapy in reducing depression symptoms among university students. The study involved 28 Malang students aged 18 to 22 who participated voluntarily. The research approach was based on quantitative methods, with an experimental Solomon Four-Group design, in which the participants were divided into four groups: two who received treatment and two who served as controls. Spiritual mindfulness therapy was administered through both individual and group sessions, with depression levels measured using the PHQ-9 instrument before and after the 8-session intervention, using pre-test and post-test assessments. The results show a significant reduction in depression symptoms, differing between the groups (F = 18.547, p < .001), with the analysis indicating a significant improvement in the treatment groups. The effect sizes ranged from d = 2.75 to d = 3.33, indicating a high therapeutic impact. The research implies that spiritual mindfulness therapy can effectively alleviate depressive symptoms in students, providing a promising intervention for mental health support in educational settings.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif merupakan pendidikan alternatif yang dapat mencapai dan mewujudkan kesetaraan pendidikan. Fenomena anak mengalami hiperaktif kini semakin sering terjadi di masyarakat. Menghadapi anak ADHD bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah.  Hal ini memerlukan kerjasama dari berbagai pihak, salah satunya pihak sekolah. Model pembelajaran untuk anak dengan gangguan pemusatan perhatian dan hiperaktif ini terkait dengan gambaran proses pembelajaran di kelas yang memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih baik di kelas yang heterogen. Metode Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah tinjauan literatur.  Tinjauan pustaka ini dilakukan dengan membaca beberapa literatur yang berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah dengan melakukan studi telaah buku, literatur, catatan dan laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi kebutuhan belajar, anak ADHD memerlukan lingkungan belajar yang terstruktur dan konsisten. Struktur memberikan rasa aman dan membantu anak-anak memahami apa yang diharapkan dari mereka. Metode demonstrasi memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk memperhatikan materi yang disampaikan guru dengan menggunakan alat peraga atau langsung melalui praktek, anak belajar melalui pengalaman nyata.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mengembangkan pendekatan spiritual dan psikologi dalam mengelola stres pengasuhan orang tua di Desa Pagelaran, Kabupaten Malang. Stres pengasuhan merupakan persoalan serius yang berdampak pada kesehatan emosional orang tua, kualitas hubungan keluarga, dan tumbuh kembang anak. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, program ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan orang tua, tokoh agama, dan tenaga psikologi dalam setiap tahap, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan intervensi berupa psikoedukasi, hingga evaluasi melalui diskusi kelompok dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pemahaman orang tua mengenai stres pengasuhan (t test p < .001). Jika sebelum intervensi sebagian besar responden tidak mengetahui definisi, penyebab, maupun strategi pengelolaan stres, maka setelah pendampingan 100% responden memahami konsep stres pengasuhan, dan 90% mampu mengidentifikasi strategi psikologis seperti relaksasi dan komunikasi asertif. Selain itu, seluruh peserta menyatakan kegiatan berbasis spiritual dan psikologis ini bermanfaat dalam memperkuat ketahanan keluarga. Keunikan program ini terletak pada integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an, yang menekankan pengasuhan sebagai amanah spiritual, dengan pendekatan psikologis modern yang berfokus pada keterampilan praktis pengelolaan stres. Inovasi ini menjadikan model pengabdian lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat pedesaan sekaligus memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam pengembangan konsep pengasuhan berbasis spiritual-psikologis.

Abstract

Innovative learning with Augmented Reality technology today is a trend in modern schools, in Indonesia and abroad. As technology develops massively in education, it will affect students' cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor development. Then this article will examine, as technology develops in education, how this affects the development of grit in students. Saving researchers have two important questions, first, how Augmented Reality technology as learning in the world of education. Second, how the development of grit in the education world. The method used is qualitative with the library research approach of primary data sources from books on augmented reality and grit as well as secondary data from internationally renowned scientific articles, methods of analysis are descriptive analytical, by implicitly describing and analysing how innovative learning as grit development in students. The results of this study prove first Augmented Reality has been shown to enhance student interest, understanding, and involvement in the material of the lesson, so that the grit in the student can unconsciously grow. Second, the concept of grit development includes perseverance, and the spirit in facing the challenge, can be enhanced through learning experiences that require exploration and problem solving, in the use of Augmenting Reality students are able to think creatively and critically in receiving the material.

Abstract

Issues around education are very diverse, and they often occur these days. The importance of this research is that the current issues are closely related to psychology. The purpose of this research is to examine the latest issues in educational psychology. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection using a literature review. The results of the study show that there are current issues in educational psychology, including 1) Academic procrastination behavior that often occurs in students, and is in the high category, 2) Academic burnout behavior that tends to occur in students, which occurs due to workload or increased employment, 3) Cases of sexual violence have greatly increased in recent years, and there were 939 cases in the scope of tertiary institutions. So with this, psychology has an important role in solving problems and preventing these problems with an approach through the discipline of psychology in the realm of education
