Abstract

Software development in the era of global competition requires strategic technology management to enhance a company's competitiveness and economic performance. The main challenges in this process include project complexity, changing requirements, and time constraints, which often lead to project failures globally. In Indonesia, only 27% of information system projects are completed on budget and on time, highlighting significant issues in software development. AI assistants have emerged as an innovation with great potential to address these problems. With features such as code completion, code interpretation, and bug detection, this solution has the potential to increase software developers' productivity in the future. Given this context, this research aims to identify the factors influencing the intention to adopt AI assistants, particularly among software developers. The study was conducted using PLS-SEM and applied factors from common technology acceptance theories such as TAM and UTAUT. Data collection instruments were distributed using self-selection sampling and snowball sampling (N=165). Major factors in UTAUT such as effort expectancy, performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, and social influence were found to be significant in influencing attitudes or adoption intentions. Additionally, AI-specific factors in the context of UTAUT extension, such as AI literacy, were found to have an indirect effect on attitudes and behavioral intentions, moderated by other factors. It is hoped that the findings of this research can help stakeholders evaluate their strategies if they wish to adopt AI assistants and provide academic impact through scientific publications that can complement existing literature, expanding the understanding of AI integration in the professional IT realm.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Scrum within LNSW’s national program, SINSW, focusing on two key projects, SSM QC and SSM Pengangkut. Despite adopting Scrum, deviations from its principles, such as unclear sprint end-dates, have hindered timely development. Using the Scrum Maturity Model (SMM), this research evaluates Scrum maturity through mixed methods, including KPA ratings and qualitative insights from observations, interviews, and document analysis. Results indicate both teams are at Maturity Level 1 (Initial), with SSM QC scoring 71.12% and SSM Pengangkut 64.7%, classified as Largely Achieved. Recommendations for advancing to Level 2 include defining clear sprint timelines, enhancing project management, quantitative metrics, team capabilities, and stakeholder involvement. Grounded in the Scrum Guide 2020 and SBOK V4, these strategies aim to refine Scrum practices, fostering more efficient project development at LNSW.

Abstract

As cross-organizational collaboration increases, balancing data utility with privacy protection becomes essential. This study addresses the challenge by implementing Privacy-Preserving Record Linkage (PPRL) using a deterministic hashing approach at an Indonesian manufacturing firm and a leasing company. The system employs a dual-layer hashing technique (MD5 followed by salted SHA-256) to securely link standardized identifiers without revealing raw personal data. The objective was to enhance Customer Relationship Management (CRM) by identifying shared customers for targeted outreach. The approach yielded 2.6 million matched records out of over 36 million, enabling the leasing firm to achieve a 2-4% conversion rate through personalized campaigns. Results demonstrate high efficiency, scalability, and compliance with Indonesia’s data protection law, offering a replicable framework for privacy-conscious data integration in regulated environments.

Abstract

Obesity has become a global issue with increasing prevalence across various age groups, including children and adults. Obesity increases the risk of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Accurate health information is crucial for the prevention and management of obesity in Indonesia. However, the dissemination of inaccurate information on social media platforms like TikTok poses significant challenges. This study analyzes the motivation behind the adoption of health information via TikTok by integrating the Uses and Gratification Theory (UGT) and the Transactive Memory System (TMS). Data were collected from 255 respondents through an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS with PLS-SEM. The results of the study indicate that gratifications such as social interaction and personalization have a significant influence on all dimensions of TMS. Furthermore, all three dimensions of TMS significantly impact information adoption. These findings provide insights into the utilization of TikTok for health education related to obesity in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growing prominence of online games as spaces for intensive digital interaction has encouraged adolescents to engage more actively in gaming activities, while simultaneously increasing their exposure to various online opportunities and risks. This condition requires adolescents to possess adequate digital literacy skills, enabling them to navigate information, interact safely, and understand the social implications of their behaviour in virtual environments. This study aims to identify individual, social, and platform-level factors that influence adolescents’ digital literacy within the context of online games, and to explain how the relationships among these factors are discussed in prior empirical research. Using a Systematic Literature Review method based on PRISMA 2020, this study analyses 26 articles selected through a process of identification, screening, quality appraisal, and data extraction. The results demonstrate that adolescents’ digital literacy is influenced by individual competencies, such as digital skills, self-efficacy, critical thinking, and psychological conditions; social factors, including parental mediation, peer support, and socioeconomic conditions; and platform factors, including game feature design, interaction mechanisms, and characteristics of metaverse environments. The relationships among these factors are mutually reinforcing, in which digital literacy develops when a responsive social environment and safe platform design support individual competencies. This study highlights the importance of an ecological approach to understanding and enhancing adolescents’ digital literacy in online games. It encourages further research to explore more specific cultural contexts and game mechanics.
