Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes with the contextual approach applied by the teacher in the learning of mathematics in the classroomThe type of research which used is classroom action research (PTK) through two cycles consisting of two meeting in every cycle. The procedures performed in each cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII in one of the MTs State in Cimahi as many as 31 people, consisting of 14 men and 17 women. The results showed that: (1) increase student learning outcomes indicated by the increase in cycle I the average value of the 58,87 with the percentage 32,26% and the cycle II theaverage score achieved by 82,07 with the percentage of 77,42%; (2) the activity of the students and the teacher in the learning has been quite good from every cycle, however there is still a shortage that can not be repaired.

Abstract

The style of language in a poem is one of the most important elements. The right style of language used in poetry with a certain theme will make the poetic value of a poem dominant. In this study, the researcher will examine the style of language used by Sapardi Djoko Damono in his poem entitled "Hujan Bulan Juni". Although the poem can be said to be short, the language style in this poem is very dense. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method so that the results of the analysis were descriptive. The results of the analysis on the poem " Hujan Bulan Juni" found a total of 3 language styles. The first language style is Repetition, Pesonification, and Metaphor. From the results of the style analysis, it can be concluded that the atmosphere contained in the poem is an atmosphere of emotion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi nearpod pada materi menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Batujajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi nearpod pada materi menulis teks biografi berhasil menarik perhatian siswa dan aplikasi nearpod ini menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran jarak jauh. Selain itu, aplikasi nearpod dapat membentu siswa dalam mengembangkan ide sehingga siswa mampu dan terampil dalam menulis teks biografi. Siswa menjadi sangat antusias mempelajari teks biografi menggunakan aplikasi nearpod karena terdapat banyak fitur yang digunakan dan menarik perhatian siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan suatu objek dan menjelaskan hal-hal yang terkait dengan fakta melalui pengumpulan data. Peneliti akan menjelaskan secara deskriptif tentang bagaimana penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi nearpod pada materi menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Batujajar dan bagaimana respon siswa terhadap penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi nearpod. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, yakni  data yang didapat dari sumber pertama berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, catatan (penelitian) lapangan, dan respon siswa menggunakan angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga puluh empat siswa dari kelas X SMAN 1 Batujajar.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low reading interest of students so this has become the focus of research to find alternatives to reading interest that you want to explore in depth and provide solutions to overcome students' low interest in reading. Students' ability in reading comprehension is relatively low, because students tend not to have a deep interest in reading and writing skills, with reading skills being one of the four language skills that are interrelated. This article analyzes media-assisted learning activities to provide information in reading activities so they don't seem monotonous. The purpose of this research is to ascertain whether the use of media-based programs can improve students' comprehension skills in junior high schools. The method used in this study uses descriptive quantitative, to collect data this research performs a proportion which will later be calculated in the results and discussion. Based on these results, it shows that the quizizz application can be used as a supporting media tool to facilitate classroom learning. The use of the quizizz application increases the willingness of students to learn, so that students can learn creatively and actively when learning takes place. Learning to use the quizizz application is proven to be able to improve students' understanding skills when reading so that students can be helped by this application.

Abstract

This study was motivated by students' difficulties in expressing ideas when writing short story texts because the stimulus was less attractive based on the observations made. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of audio-visual media on learning to write short story texts for class IX students of SMPN 36 Bandung. The research method used is a qualitative method, namely a research approach focused on efforts to gain an in-depth understanding of social phenomena or human behavior from a comprehensive and descriptive perspective. The results of the study showed that 70% of students showed varied vocabulary, 60% of students were able to use sentences effectively, and 70% of students showed high creativity in writing short stories. Even so, there are still students who have less varied vocabulary, less effective sentences, and sufficient or insufficient creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Canva-assisted discovery learning model. This type of research uses experiments. The researcher found several problems, including the lack of students' interest in writing short story texts, students' difficulties in developing ideas and ideas. This study aims to find out more about improving learning to write short story texts for class IX students using the Canva-assisted discovery learning model. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method. Subjects in this study used data in the form of tests. The results of the preliminary test (pretest) and the final test (posttest) were used as data acquisition techniques. The results showed that the students' ability to write short story texts on average before using the Canva-assisted discovery learning model. initial (pretest) of 60.03 and after using the discovery learning model assisted by Canva obtained an average value of the final test (posttest) of 84.80. The results of the ability to write short story texts increased by 28%. In conclusion, the use of the Canva-assisted discovery learning model for learning to write short story texts can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

One type of text that must be mastered in learning Indonesian is short stories. The problem that still often occurs in writing activities is that short stories are still considered difficult by students. This is due to several factors such as the lack of idea acquisition, and learning which is still monotonous due to the lack of use of supporting media. Media Blogger is the solution offered. The use of the internet and the practical use of media are felt to make learning to write short stories more interesting. In its implementation, researchers used the discovery learning model. The aim of this research is to find out the usefulness of using Blogger as a medium in learning to write short stories. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research was carried out offline with a sample of class X students at SMKN 2 Baleendah. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques and student questionnaires. The observation results show that 90% of the learning activities have been carried out properly according to the discovery learning syntax. The results of the questionnaire show that the use of Blogger media is in the very good category. 95% of students stated that Blogger media was useful in learning to write short stories, although students still experienced some obstacles, especially on gadgets or laptops

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pelbagai masalah kesulitan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan percobaan, berdasarkan hasil observasi. Sedangkan berdasarkan wawancara terhadap guru belum menerapkan canva dengan model kooperatif Tipe STAD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses penerapan pembelajaran, kendala yang dihadapi dan pengaruh efektivitas pembelajaran menulis teks laporan percobaan berbantuan aplikasi canva melalui model kooperatif tipe stad pada siswa kelas IX SMP Al-Tamimi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mix Method The Exploratory Sequensial Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari pertemuan pertama ke kedua dalam evaluasi pengamatan guru, mencapai tingkat "Sangat Baik.". Kendala yang dihadapi guru terkait ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, sementara siswa mengalami kendala dalam akses internet, minat belajar terhadap pemahaman materi. adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe STAD dengan canva, dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain eksprimen sebesar 0,77 dan kontrol sebesar 0,54.
