Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Hypothetico-Deductive Reasoning method in Learning Cycle 7E on students' critical thinking skills. The design of this study is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design and implemented at SMPN 1 Baureno with a population of all class VII. The sample used was 2 classes, namely class VII A as an experimental class and class VII B as a control class. The critical thinking ability test consist of 7 essay questions. It can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills are in good criteria with an average percentage of 72.61%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine students' problem-solving abilities with an integrated science model based on disaster mitigation. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at Benjeng 1 Public Middle School with a population of all students in grade VII and samples in grades VII F and VII G. Data collection using a problem-solving ability test with Polya indicators. Data analysis using the free sample t-test through the SPSS version 20. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a difference in the problem solving ability between the experimental class and the control class, obtained the results of the free sample t-test with a significance of 0.028 and the test criteria ?t-count <t-table <t-count of -2,252 <2,000 <2,252.

Abstract

Pangan jajanan merupakan makanan dan minuman yang dijual oleh pedagang kaki lima di jalanan dan tempat-tempat umum lain yang langsung dimakan atau dikonsumsi kemudian tanpa pengolahan atau persiapan lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu, keamanan pangan menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Salah satu penentu keamanan pangan adalah adanya zat-zat kimia berbahaya yang tidak boleh digunakan sebagai bahan tambahan pangan seperti formalin dan boraks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya formalin dan boraks dalam pangan jajanan yang dijual di sekitar kabupaten Bangkalan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Identifikasi dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Identifikasi kualitatif boraks dengan menggunakan kertas kurkumin. Tes positif, jika terjadi perubahan warna dari kuning menjadi merah kecoklatan. Identifikasi kualitatif formalin menggunakan larutan PK. Tes positif, jika terjadi perubahan warna larutan PK dari pink menjadi memudar. Hasil identifikasi kuantitatif pangan jajanan menunjukkan bahwa presentase terbesar kandungan boraks ada pada tahu balut telur daerah Socah yaitu 213ppm dan presentase terbesar kandungan formalin ada pada kerupuk daerah Arosbaya yaitu 45ppm.

Abstract

Ethnoscience based teaching material is interest research because it deals with efforts to develop and preserve the values ​​of local wisdom that considered in curriculum development especially in the face of the increasingly rapid industrial revolution era. This type of research is the Research and Development (R & D). The research used the ADDIE development model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation stages. The subjects of this study were students from SMPN 2 Socah Bangkalan. Data analyzed with qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the results of the average assessment of the feasibility test of the material aspects are 85.79% validity with appropriate categories, reliability 96.22% with very high- reliability categories and the media aspect is 91.76% validity with appropriately used without revisions, reliability of 95.08% with a very high. Integrated science type webbed based on ethnoscience salt theme was declared feasible for use in learning and effectively used for the formation of student’s characters.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menggunakan model guided inquiry dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan dengan populasi kelas VII tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa diperoleh hasil posttest lebih baik dari pada pretest

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Jenis penelitian adalah Mix Method dengan menggunakan metode sequential explanatory jenis parcipant selection model. Populasi ini pada siswa kelas VII B yang jumlahnya 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tes dilakukan secara door to door. Hasil penelitian menjunjukkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan persentase rata-rata 28,13% dengan kategori sedang. Dari hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok tinggi dan sedang tidak terdapat kendala faktor-faktor kemampuan berpikir kreatif, pada kelompok rendah memiliki kendala pada motivasi instrinsik dan pengetahuan.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan tema energi adalah mata pelajaran yang wajib diikuti oleh siswa Kelas 4 di Sekolah Dasar. Dalam mata pelajaran tema energi ini membahas tentang macam-macam energi. Dilihat dari karakter pembelajarannya maka materi dalam mata pelajaran ini banyak membahas tentang hafalan bentuk-bentuk energi. Permasalahan muncul karena belajar menggunakan papan tulis, buku dan poster dirasa kurang baik untuk proses pembelajaran siswa. Perlu media atau strategi inovatif untuk mempermudah proses pemahaman siswa. Virtual Reality (VR) akan menyelesaikan permasalahan ini dengan menyediakan materi energi yang disajikan melalui permainan. Dengan adanya Virtual Reality (VR) ini maka siswa akan lebih mudah dan cepat serta menyenangkan saat mereka menghafal tentang energi.
