Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap: (1) kompetensi keterampilan siswa, (2) kompetensi pengetahuan siswa pada pelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN 2 Singkawang Singkawang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik simple random sampling dilakukan untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw, sedangkan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan skala penilaian (rating scale) diskusi dan presentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw efektif terhadap: (1) kompetensi keterampilan siswa, (2) kompetensi pengetahuan siswa pada pelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN 2 Singkawang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemandirian belajar mahasiswa PGSD dalam perkuliahan secara daring. Jenis penelitian ini aalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Prodi PGSD semester 5 STKIP Singkawang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik snowball, sehingga di dapat sampel yakni mahasiswa berjumlah 85 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kemandirian belajar pada mahasiswa yang dikembangkan oleh  Sumarmo (2013). Hasil pengukuran terhadap kemandirian belajar menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki kemandirian yang cenderung rendah dengan skor 51.95%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiwa belum cukup siap untuk belajar secara daring, penyebabnya adalah karena kebiasaan belajar, dan teknologi yang kurang mendukung.

Abstract

The character education is built from the values of local wisdom that diverse. The value of local wisdom contains noble values of the ancestor of nation that can be used as capital to establish a nation with good and strong character. The role of local wisdom can be used to develop a character education. This study have reviewed same jurnal literature and article about development of character education based on local wisdom. The first part in the study will introduce the meaning of charater, character education, and local wisdom. The second part will discuss relation of character education and local wisdom, social culture on indigenous peoples Tengahan Sendangagung, the values of the local wisdom on indigenous peoples Tengahan Sendangagung, and the wisdom of the local indigenous people to develop a character education. Finally, the last part of this paper will explain some values of the local wisdom to develop character education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi android untuk mendukung pembelajaran siswa SD Negeri 66 Singkawang Timur di Kelurahan Sanggau Kulor. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi android kepada guru dan siswa agar pembelajaran menarik dan menyenangkan. Sasaran dalam kegiatan PPM ini adalah siswa kelas VI Sekolah Negeri 66 Singkawang Timur yang berjumlah 21 orang, serta guru yang berjumlah 6 orang. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi. Adanya kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi android terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang aplikasi android sebanyak 27 orang, artinya terjadinya peningkatan 100%. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh peserta kegiatan PPM ini antara lain memberikan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan android bagi guru dan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in using the Make A Match learning model assisted by learning video media on the ability to understand science concepts in fifth-grade elementary school. The type of research used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of experimental method in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all fifth-grade students of SDN 18 Senturan, with a sampling technique in the form of a saturated sample technique (total sampling). This study used two classes, namely the experimental class, which was treated using the Make A Match learning model assisted by video learning media, totaling 24 students, and the control class using conventional methods totaling 24 students. The study results can be concluded that: (1) There are differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class, which was given treatment using the make-a-match learning model assisted by video media, and the control class, which was given conventional methods. Because there are differences, there is an effect of learning outcomes for the experimental class and the control class on the science lesson on how the body processes food for the fifth-grade students of SDN 18 Senturang, which was analyzed using the t-test parametric statistical test with count = 2.167 > table = 2.012. (2) Make learning model A Match assisted by video media has an influence on the learning outcomes of science material on how the body processes food for the fifth-grade students of SDN 18 Senturan by 0.98 with high criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To describe students' reading comprehension ability in terms of high reading interest in class V SDN 82 Singkawang. 2) To describe students' reading comprehension ability in terms of moderate reading interest in class V SDN 82 Singkawang. 3) To describe students' reading comprehension ability in terms of low reading interest in class V SDN 82 Singkawang. This study uses a descriptive type and a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were students of class V SDN 82 Singkawang, totaling 22 people. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction data, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students with high reading interest have poor comprehension skills, students who have reading interest while having sufficient comprehension skills, and students who have low reading interest have poor understanding abilities.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental, jumlah sampel masing- masing kelompok sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah intrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 5 soal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 09 Danau Peradah. Uji persyaratan analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas uji homogenitas dan effect size, sehingga analisa perbandingan dapat dilanjutkan dengan statistik parametrik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa nilai tℎitung = 2,031 dan nilai ttabel = 2,021 untuk α = 5% dan dk = 38, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif antara siswa yang diterapkan media pembelajaran poster dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaan langsung. Hasil uji effect size menunjukan bahwa es = 1,195, yang berarti pengguanan model pembelajaran think talk write berbantuan media poster berpengaruh tinggi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

The partners of this service activity are teachers throughout West Kalimantan with partner problems, namely a decrease in the quality of learning in Merdeka Learning. Quality learning cannot be separated from the ability of teachers as planners, implementers, facilitators, and evaluators. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of learning is to carry out lesson study. The purpose of this Community Service activity is the formation of a learning community that consistently makes self-improvement in the learning process to reduce the decline in learning outcomes in Merdeka Learning. The method of implementing this  activity is mentoring lesson study to teachers throughout West Kalimantan. The implementation follows the method of implementing lesson study, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Regarding the usefulness of the activity to the 300 participants, data obtained from 300 people felt that this activity was very useful or equivalent to 100% of the number of participants. This shows that the activity of "Lesson Study as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Learning in Independent Learning" has provided positive benefits for participants and its benefits have been felt. The supporting factor for this activity is the enthusiasm of teachers who take part in the service program activities carried out. The inhibiting factor of service activities is the limited time for carrying out activities

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine differences in social studies learning outcomes between classes given the reward and punishment method and conventional classes in fourth grade students at SDN 23 Singkawang; 2) find out how much influence the reward and punishment method has on social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students at SDN 23 Singkawang. The type of research used is quasi- experimental quantitative research (quasi experimental design) with a Nonequivalent control group design with the form of experimental class and control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling was selected for the experimental class, namely class IV B and control class, class IV A. The experimental class was treated using the reward and punishment method, while the control class was not treated using conventional learning. The data analysis technique used in this study is the two sample t test and the effect size formula. The results showed (1) there was an influence between classes using the reward and punishment method and classes using conventional learning, seen from the calculation of the post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class using the two- sample T test showed that tcount = 2.368 > ttable = 2.0048 with a significance level of 5%, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is accepted rejected; (2) the reward and punishment learning method has a high effect on student social studies learning outcomes by using the effect size formula with a value of 1.104.
